The crispiest vada I had till date. The cafe does have its limitations though. Congested place. They renovated their entrance a couple of days back and it looks refreshing. Seating is limited. Still their vada is crispy.. Recommended

A quick joint to have breakfast like Idli, vada, masala dosa, appam etc alonh with tea, coffee. It is quite close to Cherthala TD temple and this is regular spot for quick breakfast. They serve real fast as well. There is always rush for parcel as well.

A small, family-run restaurant that has been serving up some of the best vada with chutney in Cherthala for over 20 years. The vadas are made with fresh urad dal and are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chutneys are also made fresh daily and are the perfect accompaniment to the vadas. In addition to vadas, Padma Cafe also serves a variety of other South Indian dishes, such as masala dosa, idli, and sambar. The food is all cooked to perfection and the service is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal in Cherthala, I highly recommend Padma Cafe. Food is ok. But table service very much below par. No professionalisam for the waitors. Had to wait for 15 minutes for a waitor to take food order.... Very pathetic

Possibly the best shop to go for if you like Vada. This shop has been around for years and have only seen it following increase. Modest seating, good service with quality and quantity of portion of the food served seems to be the USP here. Ideally located in the heart of Cherthala with ample parking available nearby.

NSS has started this venture with great Vision, women empowerment- Majority staff are ladies, selected from economically weaker sections. The family is greatly benefited . A great place to have vegetarian food when in Alappuzha. Loved the masala dosa, Vada and Payam Pori. The price was also pocket friendly. The service was awesome and too friendly. The seating capacity was around 12. Loved the cafe and would definitely visit the place again when I am back in Cherthala.

A small tea shop that provide Vegetarian food and curry full of water.Vada is crispy and tasty.Had idly and Ghee roast.Chutney and sambaar were full of water.Bru coffee had too much water.There was a rush in the morning.In the morning parking is no issue.The road is the busiest one in cherthala.There is a bevco shop nearby.So always rush.The snacks are good.Many people were buying parcels.Rwmwmbered the song from the movie "Vaishaali".dum dum dum dum dundubhi naadham ..naadham naadham.

Most of them r going here for the authentic food but not as exaggerated as some reviewers stated here. Uzhunnuvada is ok just as it's price is higher comapring to other near restaurants and the quantity of masala dosa is less , chutney is watery but sambar is yummy.

One of the small but must try foods. Uzhunnu vada is the top item to try. Other items are also tasty. Finish the food with coffee or tea. You never will be disappointed. But.. what ever you do, do not wash the mouth after eating with their wash area's water. That is water from bore well, it will kill the experience.

The best Veg restaurant in town! Been a regular customer since years.. Uzhunnu Vada is the most famous and hot selling item here, but my personal fav is pazham pori (banana fry) - chutney - onion combo and tea. The place is usually busy with limited seating, but the wait will be worth it. Being located along the busiest road in town, parking is really difficult to almost impossible for four wheelers if u're dining in. It's really a task to get in and grab a seat, during peak times.

For the service, wrong items were parcelled by the take-away service. Instead of coffee we were given a flask filled with jeeraka vellam and paid 40 rupees. This is the reason why they are not providing the right contact number. Waste of money and a loss of time. Very unsatisfied with the staff and service here.
