Scenic view of the backwater. Very well maintained property. Heritage feeling! Tasty and yummy jain food. Co-operative staff. Just one issue of Lizards in the room as well as in the restaurant area. The resort people should find a solution for lizards.

Perfect example of an excellent resort ! One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the Lake and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the Sunrise from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Alapuzha. Very clean Pool and Tasty Food. Excellent hospitality. Thank you all !

We stayed in this resort with our group of family members and stayed in four river facing balcony rooms 215 to 218 for one night on 23rd oct 2023. This resort is very beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are nice. The entire resort has back water within the property and complementary boating activities are provided including pedal boating, kayaking, fishing and sun set cruise on back waters. We had a pleasant stay and all our family members thoroughly enjoyed the stay with the boating activities and swimming pool. The food provided is very good. Complementary Breakfast is excellent. Overall a very nice resort and recommended for families of all ages to stay for 2 days and 2 nights to relax and enjoy the resort fully. Thanks to the entire resort team for giving us the memorable experience.

Awesome place to visit in winters. Even includes few refreshing activities inside the resort. Has good food quality prepared hot and fresh. The rooms are well maintained with nice view and a good while quick room service staff is available round the clock.

Such a beautiful and peaceful resort! You feel very secluded as you arrive via boat ride across the river. The rooms are very nice and are equipped with powerful AC, much needed in the humidity. The pool overlooks the river and is a great place to relax. We only stayed one night, but would’ve loved to enjoy all the resort had to offer. Would come back again !

Fabulous property ...not a very big resort with 17 rooms. So low density of population.People who like to be in nature and trees would love the property..the paddle boating, kayaking etc was awesome. Rooms nice and clean..bathrooms clean and good. Very courteous and helpful management. To reach the resort the car will drop you to a place from where you can travel to the resort on a 2 min boat ride arranged by the resort which itself has its novelty factor. Even the luggage went to our rooms on a boat. Food was not very fancy but a good preparation. Being a small kitchen they do take time to make your chosen meals but then they inform you well in advance and help you plan your meals. The only negative would be that the pool water was a bit extra salty or had higher chlorine elements. Would surely recommend the resort for a new kind of experience. ..do take along some munchies etc

Nice place in the middle of backwaters Kerala. Scenic sunset cruise included. Delicious food and great service! Friendly people. Amazing view outside the window. You can even take a paddle boat and cruise through the resort at night!! Magic :) Consider that you cannot go there directly by car. Car will drop you off and then you need a boat for the last couple of meters. The hotel offers a shuttel it takes 1 minute.

This place offers great value. It has many activities like keyaking, peddle boat, fishing,etc which is great. It offers complementary sun set cruise in backwaters which awesome. And not to forget amazing food that it offers. Over all 5 Star. :)

Beautiful place. Very quite, peaceful and serene. Food and service was good. Hospitality was on point. Would highly recommend 2 night stay to enjoy and go through all the activities. Good for couples, families and large groups.

A truly beautiful experience. The property is dotted with butterflies and all sorts of birds, which is pleasant to witness. It is a quiet area, people are polite, staff is courteous. You would be always greeted with a smile no matter what time or place. The food is exemplary (mutton pepper fry and rasam was to die for). I have never had such a wholesome experience. Must do!!

Location is very good. You can experience nature very closely. It's located amidst backwater which makes it even more serene. Services are great and all staffs are cooperative and friendly. Overall best stay. Would strongly recommend this place.

Very nice setting if this heritage property. Warm hosts. Lot of engaging activities inside the premises. Alternative, you can just sit at peace reading... If anyone is interested to see the life outside the village , you can walk up to the fish harbour early morning ( self walk) or go for guided bird spotting in nearby changaram wetlands ( at add. Cost). Overall a good pleasant stay.

Especially welcome drink was so unique and tasty. Staffs are honest and so kind, they called me to refund some money which was over charged by restaurant by mistake. The view of the property provide traditional authentic Kerala experience, nice boating experience and also surrounded by nature Perfect spot if you want to relax, prices are reasonable. Thanks to Chef Mr.Gijo to arrange and cook such a big fish , taste was amazing and delicious. I wish to thank Mr.Renji Paul and Mr.Ken Sunny.

I booked their Deluxe room a month before my travel and request for a river face room and large bed because I am travelling with my infant. When we checked in they give us last room in back side of the property and bed is also small in size. When I request for a change they refuse by saying we don’t have free room available in this category. The kettle is also not working in room and dustbin also broken. The chair they give outside the cottage is also broken and in front of the room there is a wall. Breakfast is good. In night no light in swimming pool, you can’t use that. So according to the price not satisfied.

Kondai Lip Resort is a very good resort to spend your day. It is surrounded by water on all sides. Their service was quite good. Lunch was tasty especially fish curry which was less spicy, and also the dessert. Karibean banana. Welcome drink was really refreshing. The one hour boating on the backwaters was really good. Also in the resort there is pedal boating and small boat also. They have a good looking pool and also a kids pool adjacent to it. But the water had a bad smell. Seems like proper cleaning is not taking place. And the changing room lacks a step making it little difficult to enter it which had a little bit high floor. Same can be said about the room we got . We have to climb a big step to get in the room and to enter the washroom we have to climb one step up and then one step down to get it. Height of these steps are quite high. Difficult for people who have knee pain. Open restaurant had less tables. Not sure if they have another restaurant where we can dine in. The swing was lovely. May be they must tie more swings. They give us a nostalgic feeling. Service of all the staff was very good , with a pleasant smile.

Everything is so good. Activities available in the resort are unique, everyone will enjoy. Food is delicious. Service is good. Best resort so far in our vacation. I would recommend the resort.

Kondai lip is a beautiful property which no one should miss during their trip to Alleppey. It is a heritage property situated on an island away from the busy streets and has a calm vibe attached to it.They offer a lot of activities along with the stay like pedal boating, countrymen boating and a lot more which is a bonus.The food provided at the resort is of top class as well as the service.Overall I would say it is must visit resort and won’t disappoint you ♥️

Today I visited Kondai Lip with my colleagues for a day out, and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. Kondai Lip is a heritage hotel surrounded by water, and the only way to reach it is by a small boat. We spent our day fishing, boating, kayaking, and playing badminton. The hotel had so many activities to offer. The food was one of the highlights of our trip. They served rice and fish curry, which was top-notch. We enjoyed every bit of it, and it was definitely one of the best meals I have had in a while. The room service was also excellent. The cleanliness of the surrounding was impressive. We could tell that the hotel staff paid attention to every detail. The swimming pool was well-maintained, and we enjoyed a refreshing dip in it. The price of 1500 rupees per head for a day out was worth it. Overall, Kondai Lip is a top-class hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day away from the city.

It was a pleasure being guest of Kundai lip resort. Had wonderful experience. Very beautiful resort with lots of activities. The staff is very courteous. No restriction on activities, guest can directly access them. Kids really enjoyed the pedal boat, swings , canoe riding, sunset cruise. Rooms are so beautiful, facing towards backwater, you can view Sunrise from room only, no need to go anywhere. Big Thanks to Ken !!

Kondai lip stay for us was a very pleasant experience starting from the boat ride entry to the high standard rooms. The evening boat ride, cleanliness of the swimming pool, kayak and pedal boats were all of top class. If you want to have an authentic Kerala backwater experience this is the right choice. Perfect location from airport and a luxury island with standard amenities will leave you memories that will last forever. I visited along with my family for a perfect weekend stay in September 2021

The resort and premises are very well maintained and beautiful. They offer various back water activities like fishing, boating, kayaking. All the staffs were very kind and helpful. Rooms were neat and clean. The only problem we had was delay is taking back the platter and dish after the food was served. The dishes in the menu is also expensive and the quantity served is less. The freshness of the food was good.

Loved the ambience and vibe of this place..very peaceful,was not crowded at all during our visit and had good privacy.Rooms have a warm vintage vibe,but air conditioner wasn’t working proper :(. Food and all other services were good , had all the place accessible for us, boat rides were fun..and our day was well spent ,enjoyed a lot ..we even got the whole pool for ourself and had lot of fun there.We were a group of 21 friends and had a great experience with this place.. this was our best choice to choose for our get together and was affordable.

I wanted a calm weekend get away cut off from the city husle bustle to relax with my family. I am very glad that I chose Kondai Lip. Starting from the pleasant greetings from Mr.Ken to the way we were assisted through out the stay was very pleasant. The options to be entertained with nature and the island premises is so well maintained and nourished. The food was authentic and delicious. The entire experience helped me get myself recharged with so much of pleasant memories for life.

Our stay at Kondai Lip was an excellent experience. The views from the inside and outside were gorgeous. The room was VERY clean and spacious. Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service provided by the Owner and Staff. We had breakfasts and dinner there and the menu for both had a great selection and the prices were very, very reasonable. Awsome Swimming pool, Kayaking , Pedal boating and Evening boating.Enjoyed the stay there. Highly recommended😊👌 .

We had a very relaxed and fun-filled stay at the Kondai Lip. Located 45-mins from Kochi but separated from the hustle by a 2-mile long road parting the backwaters and was aptly set in a sprawling acreage flanked by backwaters and small water bodies. The cottages were clean, spacious and Zen like. The entire property was well maintained with thoughtfully designed hangout areas, parks, water bodies where one could do water sports. We went as a family of 10 (3 generation :)) and all of us had good number of activities to engage in depending our interest. The highlight for me was the Kayaking and Canoeing by self - these were available during day time for unlimited usage to one's heart's content. The paddle boat and swimming pool (clean again) were the favorite of parents (mine and wife's). The icing on the cake was the sea food (fresh catch from their own area) and the Grape juice (with special masala mix as the secret ingredient), which was to die for - we had quite a number of refills through the 2-day stay :D. And what a hospitality! The service folks went beyond to help out. And always happy to help. Kudos to Ken for creating such a good culture. Thanks for hosting us. Will look forward to be back.

Stayed at this wonderful resort with my wife. It's away from the busy life of city. You get a scenic view of backwaters amidst the chirping of birds and beautiful nature. Lush green campus with activities like boating, kayaking, fishing, nature walk (all free of cost). Food was delicious and rooms actually give you a feeling of heritage place. A must visit resort.

This is a resort surrounded by backwaters on all sides. One would be mesmerized by the entry into the resort itself as you'll have to take a boat to get inside. We absolutely loved the views and the activities available at the location. A place for a family/couple to relax and rejuvenate. The food served is delicious. Overall a 5 star rating from my end. Totally recommended.

We gotta take a 100m vallam trip, since there's no road connection to the resort. We visited as part of an office outing. We were around 27 people. They gave us s special package for bulk booking. We get pool, kayaking, pedal boating and such activities along with the package. All are inside a private water body and could use them any time of the stay. The stay was awesome. The room and washroom were clean.

One of the most beautiful places i have ever been... with top notch service and affordable prices. Awesome rooms and even the washroom was so beautiful ... the services were excellent. Would surely visit again. The food was great toooo.... The only thing i would change is the sound proofing of the rooms ... i could easily hear what the person in the other room was talking. This is a nice island resort for a one day outing at a reasonable cost. The property is around 15 acres and offers couple of usual activities like boating, fishing etc. Food I don't say great, but okay. Nice and courteous staff too.

We went as a group of 6 families. Facilities include Boating, Kayaking, Play area and Swimming pool. Well maintained rooms - 4/5. (Few rooms bathrooms are small) Swimming pool cleanliness - 4/5 Ambience - 5/5 (Best for family get together, suggest to go in groups) Location to reach - 3/5 (Little remote, will be difficult to reach at night) Restaurant - 5/5 (Just need to order little early). Complementary breakfast - 4/5 Staff behavior - 5/5 (Excellent) Pricing also reasonable. Will suggest should give a try.

One of the finest properties in Alleppey with Kerala-style homes and perfect ambiance. Away from crowds & traffic. We selected waterfront interconnected rooms for all our family members and had an enjoyable stay here. Nice food and staff members were too co-operative. Highly recommendable place!

Good option for short trip to Kerala Backwaters. Food is good. Rooms are clean and well maintained. They offer you a complementary boat ride to beach, you can spend your time catching fishes as well. Staff is quite helpful. Overall it was a good experience. They may need to improve their bedding quality though.

It was a super cool official trip, more like a team adventure! We arrived around 11.30 am, and boy, the weather was absolutely bonkers! Rain pouring down like crazy, and the wind was like a wild beast. The road leading to the resort was a disaster zone. But here's the kicker: the resort was nestled on the shores of a stunning lake, and guess how we had to get there? By boat! Yep, no fancy road over the water, just a good old boat ride. And let me tell you, with the rain and wind, I wasn't exactly thrilled at first. But hold up, the moment we stepped foot in that resort, they welcomed us with a glass of wine—or maybe it was a non-alcoholic version, who knows? We had a team meeting and by 2.30, it was grub time! Now, get ready for this: the food was out-of-this-world delicious! We're talking about a small spread of only 10-12 items, but each and every one of them was a flavor explosion. I mean, I still dream about that heavenly Tapioca and chutney, the mouthwatering fish curry, the tantalizing chilli chicken, and the drool-worthy beef. Pure magic, my friend. Oh, but the fun didn't stop there! We had boating activities on the agenda too. They had both pedal boats and stick boats, and let me tell you, the pedal boat was a breeze to handle. I must have spent a solid 45 minutes gliding across the water like a champion. But wait, there's more! They had a pool facility too. You know, for those of us who preferred a dip in the water without having to paddle like crazy. By 5.00 pm, it was tea time, and guess what accompanied that piping hot tea? Banana fry! And let me tell you, that combo was a taste bud explosion of awesomeness. All good things must come to an end, they say. So, by 6.00, we bid farewell to that amazing place, with memories of good food, thrilling boat rides, and a whole lot of fun.

Kondai lip backwater resort was truly a paradise. With backwaters and greenary surrounding the resort I was enveloped in an ambiance of tranquility. Rooms were comfortable with surrounding natural beauty. Warm staff with excellent hospitality. They offer a wide range of activities , facilities and amenities to cater to every guests needs. It was a blissful escape from the stresses of everyday life. It's an oasis of peace and relaxation. I would recommend this resort to everyone seeking a rejuvenating getaway.

Was a good experience. View is just breath taking. 1 thing we did not know until we reached the property was that there is no road to the property. They take us via a small boat to the resort which is definitely a good experience and was a big time surprise for us. We loved it anyway. We did not get much time to enjoy the property but we are definitely coming back for more days.
