Most underrated Restaurant in Alappuzha. Palayathil is a Small Restaurant with wide varietys of seafood items,Located Near Chenganda Bridge. I visited here yesterday, but I thought lunch time was over by 3pm, but it was still pretty busy at that time. They Served Hot Meals with side Curry's like Kakka roast, Aviyal, Pulissery, Fish curry, Sambar, Pachamoru,Pickle and Fried Fish mackerel.Ayila. Meals was so Delicious Especially Pulissery is Awesome.and i ordered A Beef Roast That was great,gravy is very tasty. Sea foods Like Crab, Prawns, Fish dishes etc are Available Here.. You can eat Homely Food at Reasonable Price. Far Far Better than Overrated Madhu and Meeshakkaran Dileep's Shop. A small family run business. 5 stars for the staff and food. Its only a small local eatery so not a posh place. Good to experience simple kerala lunch.

Small restaurant which has ample of items for lunch. Lunch is their priority and has much more items such as matthi (sardine) pollichathu, silopi pollichathu, karimeen, chemmeen roast, beef roast, and the normal lunch is charged 60rs which includes rice, fish gravy, shell fry, matthi (sardine) fry, beetroot kichadi, aviyal, sambar, curd and curd curry. Upto 3 cars and 7 bikes can be parked in front of the shop and if excessive vehicles are there, there is a nearby plot where you can park the vehicle. Don't expect ambiance and interior designs but food is worth for what they charge us. Must try spot and this is just before the Chenganda bridge while you are going towards Thavanakkadavu/Aroor.

Regularly visits when I travel through this route. Easy to locate and adequate space. Village atmosphere. Always has sea food as special with meals which already has a small fish and Clam fry. Budget friendly. Over all very good.
