Surroundings were decent but over-priced, poorly maintained rooms, and other equipment for activities. Those listed activities are just for namesake.don't even think about this place for doing complimentary activities. We weren't confident enough to pay for chargeable activities after evaluating the complimentary activities. Reception main staff was argumentative. Other reception staff members were polite,but not much helpful. Exception was the restaurant manager who was flexible and willing to accommodate our requests and also other staff's in the kitchen and dining area. The food was really nice. we were able to enjoy that, at least. Overall, we successfully wasted our well planned vacation just because we chose this place. We expected a lot but completely disappointed!!!

Resort is good for its unique construction and activities provided for the guest and also we could enjoy the lake view and evenings there. The rooms, bathrooms and the garden are good also there is many activities like boating and cycling. Also the food was served in 3 star standard and quality of food is good. Other facilities are volley ball court and swimming pool, pool water was really bad as it is not well maintained. Facility wise the resort was good.

First and foremost I would like to thank the warm hospitality with smiling embrace received upon arrival till check out.. Everything was well taken care. Special thanks to Mr. Abijith Balan GM, the reservation team, the reception, the restaurant team, room service team, security. Even in this Covid scenario,, proper sanitizing process was ensured before even allotting room to us. The view from the cottages, ambience, food, swimming pool, activities, all has to be praised. Neat, clean, and fresh is all what we experienced. The buffet spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner was really sumptuous with varieties to choose from. The cottages are highly spacious and standing right on top of the lake embraced with coconut grooves giving serenity to one's stay. Must recommended place for families, kids, honeymoon couples, day trip, incentive programs, even for outdoor parties. There is another highlight - the house boat which is an floating palace with all star hotel facilities including overnight stay, dinning, cruising across the never ending lake. I am definitely looking forward for a visit again with my family members to give them the serene stay with a perfect break.

The resort is quite good. Has ample space for cycling and pedal boating. Swimming pool is open from 7am to 7pm. And there is also a volleyball court. Speed boat and house boat facilities are also present but we have to pay additional amount to avail those. The place is so beautiful and quite refreshing. Good for morning walk and every guest loves to cycle in these premises. The buffet at the night was good, offered a variety of dishes including soup and deserts. Morning buffet was a decent one. Bedrooms and bathrooms are neat and tidy. Staffs are highly cooperative and their room service is also good.

We went there for a day outing with friends. Rooms are good; nevertheless, some maintenance needs to be done. Apart from this, it was an amazing experience that we enjoyed a lot. A very cozy & family friendly place to spend a nice weekend at. Cottages are either with lake frontage or are floating on the artificial lake with a balcony view to the lake. Paddle boats are available as well. Only downside is all the meals are buffet which might not be the best choice for the anorexic ones. Apart from that, the food is great, rooms are above average and most importantly the rates aren't that high compared to resorts with similar amenities and ambience. Would certainly suggest it to propel looking for a nice weekend getaway :)

Located next to Vembanad Lake, Kalathil resorts provide a scenic retreat. It is a family friendly resort with many fun activities including cycling, pedal boating, swimming pool, volley ball and many more. It is a perfect spot for shutterbugs. In house restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious with lake view balconies and were well maintained. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Overall had a very pleasant experience and definitely recommend 👍

Really good place.... Dont have to go out because its well maintained exteriors, volleyball court, swimming pool, cycling and internal boating...they are planning for internal houseboat facilities in future... Only downside is not up to the mark quality of rooms...again this is subjective nothing much to complain....

The ambience is good. Place is very clean and calm. But the food and price 😪🤤🤕🤕🤕🤧 The dinner and breakfast were very bad in terms of taste and variety. And very much over-priced for what they serve. The staff didn't even care to listen to this while we tried to bring it to their notice. All the cycles available are without brakes. God alone knows how their guests use it !!! Overall, not a satisfying experience, definitely not worth the pennies you pay.

We went there for a day break. Good place to hangout for a day. Food, I would say was good. They have a variety of activities like cycling, badminton, fishing etc. On the way to the resort, the route shown was erratic, better to check with locals on the way if this is the best way.

Great resort with a perfect location at the lake. The rooms are clean and they have an extra mattress in case you need them. The food is good and it has many complimentary activities like pedal boat,cycling,indoor games(caromboard,chess etc), trampoline for kids etc. They also have swimming pool that includes a small kids pool too. It's a kid friendly resort and would highly recommend if you are looking for a resort in the area.

It was an awesome place. There is a pool, a badminton court and a ground for group activities. Pool is 6 feet deep in one side, my personal opinion is If it's a bit higher than the ground level we get a amazing view of the water body next to it. Room is hygienic and placed over a small water channel. We can do pedal boating in it. They will provide the house boating facilities as well in the back water. Food was amazing too. Only problem i faced is this is located 3 to 4km away from the main road and i couldn't find any marking or name board to identify the actual path to the resort. Also the way to the resort is in bad condition with too many pothole.

Prices of soft drinks are double, and boating prices are as per demand and not as per fix Tariff prices. Every staff member may charge different prices for boating here.

Went for a team outing here and had an absolute blast. Limited outdoor activity space but we planned the activities which did not require much space and it went well..Pedal Boat,Small Snake Boat facilities were excellent. Food was ok but the ambience overpowered it. There are many floating rooms which we did not get a chance to explore

Food was just supereb. We had a day out programme.. room and other facility was also very good. But some staff was not so friendly.

Tastes like fish kept in refrigerator for at least two weeks. 4. Fishing rods not good. 5. Indoor playing area not well maintained Over all bad experience.

We opted the day package. The location is accessible. The ambience and environment is very good. Lot of wind as its close to lake side. Swimming pool + Kids pool available and its good. Cycles (adults + Kids) are available. You have a lot of place to roam around with cycle. Peddle boating is available. Water is clean and you can have a good ride. Food is average with veg and non-veg option. There is an Indoor activity area: only carrom board is good and functional. New badminton racket, cricket bat available. But no place to play. Because of wind and open area. Kids pay area also requires enhancement. Trampoline is good. May be a bigger slide and see-saw with some sand pit makes it good. Overall - Good for one time visit.

Best place to hangout with your friends and family. Restaurant is bit pricey. Pool, boating and indoor games are available. No shops are available near to the location. One small shop is available within 5 mins walk

One of the Lakeview resorts. Ambience and food is amazing. The only reason gave 4 star is the condition of rooms. You will enjoy the holiday with them and try their houseboat.

There are water activities and indoor games in the resort which can be used by the guests. Atleast two days would give a good experience. Food is very delicious and hygienic. Overall, a must visit place for couples/family. I would have given ten stars if there were ten.

I recently visited Lake Kalathil Resort and couldn't help but feel disappointed by the inconsistent and fluctuations in pricing in their boating services. The resort was charging prices for cold drinks and water bottles that exceeded the MRP was disappointing and unexpected.

Rooms are not neat. The bathrooms especially are bad for a hotel. But spending a day there would be good, as they have some games and stuff, we didn't use those but spent time in fishing in the backwaters.

Excellent view, beautiful cottages, tasty food. We selected day out package and it was worth it. We can cycle, pedal boat, do fishing and there is a large swimming pool. Overall, I would recommend this resort.

The road to reach there is some what off road. Properly posted sign boards guide us when Google maps miss lead us. The place is silent, neat with good romantic ambience. Not crowded. Food is simple and nice. Not too much variety of food. Evening snack and Tea are great of it's kind. Entertainment is less. We can enjoy cycling and unsafe boating, peddling and swimming. Simply good.

Very recently I have tried their day outing package It was Rs.1250 per person. Their website shows all sorts of activities that can be done in a day but most of them are unavailable. The hotel staff doesn't care about you once you pay the amount. They won't help you for any of the activities. Even for the boats. The cycles provided were the worst none of them have chains or brakes. Lunch and snacks were included in the package. Not much variety and very poor taste and quantity. Overall I wouldn't recommend anyone to take the day outing package

Good ambiance and neat & clean. Room and bed was very big. Staff's are very polite. Kids will enjoy for sure and play area's are very good. Swimming pool needs to be clean. Food is okie. Not bad and not excellent. Inside lake water smell is not good. Other than this good place to enjoy with your family.

Property is awesome. Plenty of amenities to enjoy for all age group : both indoor and outdoor games. Lake facing pool. Cycles to go around the property. Different types of boats to row in the pool. Food is also good. An ideal place for families to hang out.

We have taken a day package from them. Location, property and ambience were good. There are activities like boating, cycling and pool. The buffet lunch felt like minimalistic with not much spread. I am not sure about the rooms as we did not take one.

The place is located in a serene ambience with greenery all around. It is on the banks of the backwaters. Boating facilities are available. Lots of other entertainments have been arranged including indoor games, cycling, pool, etc. There is also a basic ayurvedic rejuvenation centre. Rooms are individual cottages. Duplex cottages are also available.

Stay, food, service all very nice. Well designed layout beautiful scenery. Only few small issues, road leading to the Resort was not in a good condition, parking space should be improved and rooms also need to be maintained little more better. Had a great time at Kalathil Lake resorts. We made reservations just the previous day and Vincy made the reservation experience very smooth. We stayed at the cottage right by the water and it was really nice to sit by the balcony and look at the water and people boating. We really enjoyed feeding the fish, boating, fishing. We loved cycling around the property and had a blast at the pool. Food at the restaurant was also good. All the employees at the resort were very helpful in answering any question we had and all of them greeted us with a smile always. Special mention to Rohit. The rooms were clean but could use some maintenance. The road towards the resort was a bit rough at some places, but manageable. Wish the resort team /Indo American hospital could repair it. Overall a very scenic area. We had a great experience and would love to visit again.

This resort have a good ambiance surrounded with a beautiful lake. Rooms were very neat and clean. Service and the food also good. Especially the fish curry …..it was so delicious….every staff keeps smile to their each and every guest. Nice to stay here.

Nice place to relax and chill. Family friendly place. The room service is good. The rooms were clean and tidy. Buffet service, I feel some of the dishes that were served at afternoon was also served with slight modifications at night. Got some activities like fishing, boating (paddle boat, rowboat), cycling and a small playground for kids to play.

The views from the property are mesmerizing and the rooms are decent. There are options to engage in activities and games on the property itself. Food is amazing!! The property needs better management in terms of their protocols to make guests feel welcome. We faced challenges related to late check-out, boat bookings, pool access etc.

We have been here almost 4 days for an event, awesome nature friendly resort. Good standard rooms, food is not that standard of the resort. Resort have a private house boat with 5 rooms we can stay overnight. They also have some activities life cycling boating… Nice swimming pools too

The property is located at very good location. Their room and bathroom are very old fashioned, services are very poor. Called multiple times at the reception but they didn't care. Their pool is not clean they just fill it with water and their is no cleaning process, it should be continuously fill with water so that hygiene could be maintained.
