Famous for their variants of Fried fish, the meals at KUDAMPULI are quite interesting in the small town of Cherthala. There are running at a low profile currently due to COVID. Otherwise they've got a real elaborate fish menu and other specialties. Just overlook the mediocre ambience and the shabby decor. That's as good as it gets in Cherthala town. Otherwise one would have to hunt for better eateries along the national highway adjacent to the town. Anyways, my meal and Thilapia fry cost around RS 180. Quite a pocket-friendly deal for a large chunk of fish fry and meal.

Went in the afternoon. Ordered porotta beef fry, and chatti choru. Chatti choru was nice, there were 10 items along with rice, all non veg for Around 170. I think 3 porottas were more than enough because they were heavy. They even provided extra curry with chatti choru. Even after all this, the cost was only 350, so it was really cheap. And was really tasty too. Beef fry was yum. Overall worth a visit.

The kudampuli restaurant dining experience is very nice. Tasty foods at reasonable price. Famous for their various sea foods, Especially latest trend Chatti Choru.

Bought biriyani today... I was a bit early so i did had to wait for some time.. But worth the waiting... Best biriyani in cherthala for 125rs/- i do need to try a few more food from kudamupuli. The rice of the biriyani was kaima i think which had a great flavor to it. And had 3 large piece of chicken in each biriyani. Served with papad, lemon pickle and salad... Really loved the pickle. But i did miss the wow factor of biriyani -"egg".. .

I have tried alot of oonu in kerala, man but the oonu I ate from here is just vera level❤️

Good. Had chirattaputtu + beef roast...was hot and testy.. Parking space available.... Not sure about toilet facility

Nice spicy non-veg dish named chattichor consisting of (chicken fry,fish curry,fish fry,kudampuli special chicken curry,kakka irachi,beef fry,pappad,curd,2 veggies,pickle )..And you will get the sambar,resam,moru which they serve with the normal meals if you request for it along with the chattichor...It cost just ₹170 per plate and was more than enough for one person,food was fresh and tasty. Parking space is limited(for cars ) Friendly staffs(ammamar) As it is nearby the beverages and bar,there maybe drunken people roaming around for food inside the restaurant,which maybe an irritation to those who comes with family.

Pictures are often lucrative but the restaurant is a total failure . Food is not at all tasty and cleanliness is absolutely nil. Chatty chor looks good in picture while cannot eat at all. Will never visit again.

Been here couple of times for lunch. The food was tasty. Mostly taken meals and fish items. Kozhuva fry, meen pwolichathu was good. Homely food. Reasonable rates too.
