Felix Rodriguez is an amazing surf coach and teacher. I had the opportunity of doing one amazing early morning sessions and benefitted immensely from his pointers. Even it was just one session, I learned so much. We also had a lot of fun during the session. He took some great pictures with his GoPro 8 camera. Famara is a perfect surfing spot with a spectacular view that you have to visit! I was there for one great day only but Wave Rituals made renting of a board during my travel really easy and comfortable. I just changed, left my stuff and went to the beach which is very close to the place. Felix helped me with chosing best board for me and advised about where to enter the water in the actual wave condition. I'll return there for sure some day cause if there's a will there's a wave!

I recently came back from 5days surfing with Felix and being a total surfer beginner I can totally recommend learning with him! He is very experienced, super patient and cheered up with me whenever I was standing! I will definitely go back! Oh and don’t miss out one of his massage..so much needed after few days of surfing!

We had a great time surfing at wave rituals and will definitely return next time. The lessons were small, which is a great advantage compared to the other surfing schools. Had an awesome first surf experience here at wave rituals. The conditions at playa de famara are perfect for beginners. Felix was also very good and patient teacher who seemingly enjoyed it when his trainees had their first successes. Had an awesome time and will definitely return soon! 🤙 PS: The group lesson also includes photos taken by Felix's GoPro in the water. So you also get some nice personal souvenirs. 😉

We had so much fun surfing with Wave Rituals! Did a group lesson and found it included an appropriate amount of theory on the beach, including important safety considerations, before we headed out. In the water we had just the right amount of individual attention/support/feedback, as well as freedom to catch the wave ourselves. Would love to come back and try one of their longer packages!

We took a surf class with Felix and it was great! Felix really takes the time to warm us up and explain the technique before you hit the water. He took a couple of pictures of us while surfing which was a nice plus. The surfboard and wetsuit were of great quality.

Great attendance, really liked the yoga class before hitting the waves on the surf board! They’re really good at encouraging you in which waves to take and to get the best experience. Would definitely recommend them to get your surf on! They really do have the best t-shirt’s and the videos and pictures you receive afterwards are also really great. Look no further!

Surfing with Felix for 5 days is absolutely my most amazing experience in Lanzarote! The Famara beach has so many waves and it is also great for the beginner. Felix is a super great instructor, he helped me and the others a lot! He suggested to start earlier so we have avoided the crowded people and practiced in the perfect wave conditions. He has also taught me the needed skills which is better for me. He deserved more starts though we have only 5 here :-) Looking forward to surf with Felix again!

Great experience with Wave Rituals and Felix's Team. We had lots of fun and managed to surf from day one. If you are looking for classes in a small group and great teachers i would pick them from all options in Famara!

I did a half day session with Wave Rituals. As there are many surf schools in Famara, it is really difficult to find the best ones. But I think I did. It was a really great and useful class for me. Felix and the other guy (I think Fabio) have really great, on to the point teaching approach. I learnt a lot of techniques and tips. Also good that group size was small, so they could focus on each of us. And compared to other spots, Famara is an extremely good place to start surfing. Waves are beginner friendly and frequent, beach and bottom are sandy, so you don't need to deal with rocks. But don't let the term "beginner friendly" fool you. You will also get enough power from these waves. So key takeaway, I really recommend this school, you will be in good hands. And easter egg: they have the best looking T-shirts as well

We were a group of 4 with a semi private lesson session with Carlocho! It was so cool getting in touch with surfing and we were improving really fast. If you’re looking for a good way to get started with surfing - these are the people you’re looking for ;)

I did 1 on 1 lessons with Felix to progress my surfing. Really felt like I did just that. His guidance was helpful and I got some cool images from it as well. Would also recommend getting a Thai massage to help with recovery!

I have had very positive experience with Felix and Santo who were such nice and easy explaining something to be rather hard but so enjoyable. After quite a few waves missed, it was amazing to hop on the board and ride a wave. Both of the teachers were super supportive through the process and that means a world when you are trying to learn something new. Thank you and see you very soon again for sure!

Felix has been since 2019 the teacher of my kids Alan and Nora. Every time we visit the island, we contact Surf Attack. (Felix) He is fast responding and accomodating the kids, either for private lessons or a small group lessons, where he gives lots of personal attention and advice.
