This place offer lunch and stay from 12:00 am to 6:00 pm for a charge of 350 Rs per person and 100 Rs will be charged from 3:00 pm visit till 6:00 pm without lunch. While there we can do activities such as Fishing or Boating which are free. The funny thing is we need to pay for the fish that we catch 😋😕. The place is scenic and nature lovers who likes back waters and coconut trees will defenitly like this place. Over all according to my opinion the tickets rate can be reduced to 200 and 50 which would make a better value proposition. The staffs can be bit more approachable and helpful. Somebody can train them on hospitality if they are working in that industry.

Undoubtedly a picturesque and serene backwaters destination to spend memorable time with family and friends, along with enjoying scrumptious traditional Kerala meal. Nonetheless, this place is underutilized and poorly marketed and could contribute a lot to Kerala tourism if it can be improved with more attractions and fun activities for kids, visitors and tourists. As usual we see in most of our tourist places, poor housekeeping and littering (internal and external) are a major threat to this place, though at the entrance itself it is notified that littering and use of plastic bottles etc. are prohibited. Hope the concerned authorities will look into all these and work for the improvements.

A nice place to spend a day with your family or friends. This place offers peddle boating, speed boating, angling as an entertainment, if you catch fishes you can take after paying. House boat facility for large group. Food is very tasty, you can choose your fish as well preparations. If you want meant or other special items book in prior. For adults 300 per head including 1 tea, 1 meal, one ice-cream and 30 mins peddle boating, play area for kids. There are other packages available. Nice place running by Matsyafed, govt of Kerala.

Good place but not worth for a Rs.100/- for two or three hours... Too high price and not worthy for that... Nothing to see just a space to spend time together...

it's a great weekend destination for family. it is eco-friendly and have great natural beauty. people will love this place. there are different packages available here according to the type of customers. Generally the ticket rate is 100 in weekdays and 300 in weekends. we will be provided with food, pedal boat, fishing etc. but i don't really like here, where as my family enjoyed.

Nice place especially for a family/ friends get together. Open 10am-6pm. Entry rs200 per person. You can enjoy delicious lunch including freshly prepared fish curry n fish fry which is included in the ticket( be there before 1:30, preferably). Also there is a small children's park n facility for pedal/ rowing boats which is also included in the ticket. Boating is for thirty minutes, but if there is no rush, you can still use the boats further. But there are no life guards or life jacket( but I think the waters are shallow). Also u can opt for speed boats or house boats(20/30/40 seaters) in back waters, with reasonable additional payment

Cool location for nature lovers. Admission fee is 200 for adults which include the lunch and icecream. Boating facility also there. Pedal boat, solar boat, speed and motor boats are available there. Main attraction is fishing !!!

If you are looking for a one day outing this is a decent place to go with family. Nothing stylish, and what you get is a pure village feel. If you plan for a family getogether you can book a house boat also for 2 hours. Carry hats / umbrellas and of course cameras

Good location but not utilised properly.No professional management. There is ample scope for more facilities and attract tourists. But there is nobody to even welcome the guests and direct them. The canteen staff is courtious.

We reached there by 12 pm. Ticket charges were high rs.300 per head. Without food is rs.200. We said we don't need meals. But up to 2.30p.m its compulsory to take rs.300 ticket. Food was good. Fish curry meals with fish fry, thoran, aviyal, moru curry, sambar, achar and ice cream.We did pedal boating. Small play area for kids.
