Why do I depend on 5 star hotels often, because of the piece of mind along with the well known hospitality and services. This time at Meridian from 16-21 of August, I had another lesson. How well and professional you deal with a situation. I had an issue, immediately after knowing them, Mr. Mrinmoy Ghosh, the restaurant manager, acted immediately and the steps he followed to undo the bad incident was highly appreciable. This is the hospitality industry at it best, when you are disturbed for a moment, the entire team made my rest of the stay memorable forever. Especially Chef Rabiyul Khan made one of the best preparation, I had recently. After spending many days here, I have invited my friends here and they also enjoyed the most of it. The food, the spread and the services are on tip notch and highly recommendable.

One of the well kept 5 star property in kochi city. Acres of greenery space, enough parking for a thousand cars, well kept swimming pools and gym. Located along back waters, its a treat to relax in lawns along pool and back water. Rooms are very good as such with pool/back water view in 50% of rooms. Food spread is great and tastes mostly great. Excellent for business stay as well as family vacation. Has a big convention hall in the same property.

Good hotel and comfortable rooms with Nice beds. Enjoyed the stay. They have backwaters at just 150 mtrs, one can enjoy the ride as per boat availability. Staff could NOT manage check in as per committed timings, we had to wait for 3 hours to get room - by then kids were cranky and we exhausted ourselves by roaming around. Breakfast menu was okay, as we expected extensive menu and they could have done better on this front. -x-x-x-

We stayed there for 7 nights. Overall, it was a delightful experience. I had some apprehension before checking in, but the people at the reception were very courteous and welcoming. The room is spacious with a King-size bed, 1 chair, 1 sofa chair, and a table. The room had an electric kettle. The bathroom was also well-maintained. I really loved the wooden panelling on the floor and part of the wall. I am very satisfied by the work of the cleaning staff who diligently and efficiently cleaned the room everyday. Delicious food is available from the in-house restaurant which is delivered to the room. Having said that, I did find some inconveniences in my long stay there. The hotel does not allow food ordered from outside which is frankly an absurd policy. And on top of that, they charge ridiculous amount for food from their restaurant. I request the hotel management to allow the guests to order food from outside as it is a huge inconvenience otherwise. Also, the water-heater in my bathroom wasn't working properly, and it wasn't repaired even after I requested the room service staff. But the inconveniences and drawbacks did not affect my overall stay. I had a wonderful and comfortable experience in Fabhotel Asrani International. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a comfortable stay in a good location with a budget .

The hotel is just superb. The ambience, the vast area,the halls, the pool .. everything is so beautifully maintained. The service is also remarkable,everyone is so friendly. The place is located along the highway,which makes it easily accessible. Also the parking is lavish. Went to chef pillai restaurant, which is worth the visit. The dishes are all delicious.

Had a wonderful stay with my kids. We stayed for 2 days and it feels it was less.. buffet breakfast and dinner were great.. support dinning Staff were very caring and were suggesting to try this and that... loved it... Thanks Le meridian for making our stay worth remembering..

First off all , the property is quite old, it’s very obvious, but they charge the same 5 star price for your stay. Buffet spread is below average, breakfast spread has nothing special to offer, the regular egg counter, then iddli, vada, dosa and so on. No continental items were seen. I feel they should bring down their price as it doesn’t offer the modern luxury and facilities. One more thing to mention here; beware of the WiFi connection at the hotel, they provide free WiFi and chargeable WiFi, so while you connect to the network be careful you select the low speed network which is free or else a separate bill be given for WiFi at the time of check out…as it happened to my wife who by mistake connected to high speed internet access and got the bill of 550 rupees at the time of check out. Hope the reader get my point!!!

Visited chef pillai and there are no words to express this restaurant. Everything was amazing. The location is very good also. Very spacious. There is a wait to get in the restaurant but worth it. Just had a buffet lunch. Oh my god this is hands down the best buffet! Great variety of dishes, and it tastes really good. This hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in because of the superb service. The restaurant and buffet is clean and delicious. The room was spacious and view was great as well. The manager was accommodating and went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. The staff and reception were also amazing. They were also asking for what improvements they could make which I'm happy to share given that they want to maintain a high standard.

Stay at Le Meridien is so awesome. The supporting staff and especially the restaurant staff are so cooperative. Room services are so fast and attendants are being available at short notice. For families, it's so comfortable. The lawn area for evening/Morning walks is sufficient. The quality of food is excellent and providing all orders swell on time. Had a wonderful stay. Lovely property with vast green landscapes and a lovely view of the lake. Rooms are cozy. Food is awesome and Chef Jishnu is one of the best. His appam is yummilicious ! General service definitely needs improvement.

It is good and I had a really pleasant stay there. Each one of the staff members were really cordial and loving. I enjoyed each and every second I spend there. And food was really tasty and awesome. Coming to the ambience i dont know due to coivd i think they didn't maintain their gardens and pool properly. And the room is not that much spacious as compared to other hotels in kochi. Staffs are so good . The positive side of the hotel is ,It is having Easy access to metro and other facilities. Away from the hustle of the city. We can enjoy the river banks and all. Suggestion is to improve the room organization and maintain your surroundings. Overall it was good.

Food, especially local, is done very well. Service is worth a mention. They are quite impeccable when it comes to service. Room design is done well and sleep quality is good . The bath design needs improvement. When there is a music program, sleep quality goes down several notches as rooms are not sound proof and the music from their grounds reverberates into the rooms even on the fourth floor

The Hotel started showing its age. It was one of the best hotels in Cochin known for decades .All others came later . But still its a great place to be . Food is excellent . Rates are reasonable , Lot of photo shoot sceneries . Very decent place outside from the city . Room service is exceptional. Enjoyed our stay .

Attended a conference at the conference hall, ample parking, clean premises but food was just average. Staff were friendly and helpful. Covid precautions were adequate.

Visited le meridian with family to celebrate my wifes birthday. We had a joyful time here. Staff were very cordial and service was excellent, during this pandemic time, they have maintained everything in excellent and hygienic way. Services of the restaurant(Latest recipe )staff is great, they will take care of you nicely. We had dinner and breakfast. Food was tasty with standard menu (seems number of dishes are minimal due to pandemic) Live appam with stew, Hyderabadi mutton biriyani, paneer butter masala with tava roti(chapati) etc were my personal fav and recommendations. We ordered Butterscotch Birthday cake, it was ultrasoft and yumm. Outside campus also maintained properly, kids play area need some more attention. Overall we had a happy time. Thanks to the staff, le meridin, kochi. As written in the "Thanks cake" we will meet soon again"

Very poor hospitality.in bath room no soap., no dental kit.,no Towel,no comb. Even our call it wil get after half an hour minimum. Too hygienic. Good lawn around the restaurant for walking and all. Traditional taste of food we can enjoy well @ morning

Food at Latest Recipe alongwith courteous service comes on top of everything. If you ever go there meet Mr Mrinmoy, the Restaurant Manager and the team of chefs Naveen, Gishnu, Rabiyul Khan & Mr Satish Reddy. These people can make the best dishes be it Kerala or South Indian or North Indian or Continental cuisines. If you ever visit make it a point to have Fish Moily and Appam, an authentic Kerala food. Mr Sirsendu Banerjee, FOM made our stay special by attending to all our needs. We even met Mr Deepraj Banerjee, GM of the Hotel and his leadership qualities are evident across all the departments. Hotel is following all the Government regulations with respect to the pandemic and made us feel safe throughout our stay. For our son's wedding event in January 2022, we went around Maradu's high ended wedding venues and finally shortlisted Le Meridien's Oman Hall for our BIG day. Le Meridien's USP are: 1) Great location with ample parking, especially for us, since it is the closest to the church where we plan to conduct the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony 2) Oman Hall is in the convention centre with a separate entrance and thus can avoid the main hotel lobby. Unlike other venues that we visited, Oman hall entrance is grand with its wide staircase and does not pass through the buffet setup. The hall is just a floor above and should look good with the right decor 3) Oman hall is the biggest hall in the convention centre so we should be comfortable in complying with the Covid distancing norms The only shortcoming that we noticed was the non-AC in the dining area. However, hoping that in January the weather should be ok to hold the noon event. Further, the landscaping also needs enhancement after the Covid lockdown. We heard some not so complimentary reviews of the food; hence we were introduced to Executive chef, Mr Satish Reddy, in order to get assurance from the chef himself about the food quality, menu etc. Mr Reddy took over the Ex-Chef role in Apr 2020, said that they have made several changes since he joined and that they were getting quite good reviews. He assured us that the menu can be worked out according to our choice and a food tasting session will be arranged before finalising the menu for the event. We are in the final stages of finalising the contract and will update this review after the wedding event.

I visited Le Méridien Kochi with my friends and it was a great experience. The ambience was really great. The place was clean and tidy. All the staffs were very helpful and caring. The food was mouth-watering. We tried out the buffet and it was delicious. The open swimming pool was also great. We did spend some quality time in it.

I visited the Le Meridian Kochi last month. I must tell you it’s Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We stayed for three days with our four months old baby. Ashly who was the club coordinator deserves a special mention as she was the one who helped the most to make our stay the best. Looking forward to visit again.

Rooms 3 out of 5 I think the rooms were not big enough Hospitality 3 out of 5 Check in and check out was smooth the staff was attentive the needs of the guests. Room service 2 out of 5 The rooms are on no credit basis, you pay whatever you order on the spot and one time i order cutlery and crokery and it took nearly 1 hour from them to deliver to my room. Amenities 3 out 5 Swimming pool was well maintain and operational but the indoor gaming section was not maintained for example in carrom striker was missing and in table pool cue and balls were badly worn out..

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. Vishnu was our waiter and he provided the best service They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. We spent a weekend here in the last week of July. The hotel has a great ambience. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. There are lots of things to do around the hotel and it’s surrounding lawns and swimming pool. Our room faced the lagoon and the view was awesome. The food was excellent - we enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the hotel as well as the food at Restaurant Chef Pillai, located within the hotel premises. Highly recommend this hotel!

A unique experience where the property is distributed across a channel which also gives you a sense of privacy and exclusiveness not available in most properties. But they need to operationalize the restaurant and other facilities in the building which is across the channel. The only good thing is you can keep taking a boat ride which is operational 24x7

Used to dine here on and off long ago. Food and service were always great. Spent some time recently when my daughter and her friends had a get together in one of their halls. Food and Service are as good as before, if not better. Kudos guys!

Front office manager and staff are courteous. Breakfast buffet spread is good in "Latest recipe" restaurant. Extra items, not in menu,are immediately taken care of by Manikandan chef. Housekeeping is prompt. Overall,an old( 2001) but renovated( 2016) star property.It is reasonably maintained and recommended for short business as well as leisure trips. One of the best n old property in ernakulam. They have an amble car parking facility. I have visited there for attending a function so, that I don’t know about the room facilities. The service is good n superb . Ambience is also superb. They have a very spacious area , so that we feel very comfortable. This particular hotel is too near to highway so that good accessibility or we can reach easily. Overall Good.

One of the oldest 5 star hotels in Cochin. It's truly a Resort within the City, surrounded by lot of green bodies. Rooms are well maintained, Checkin and Room Service was top notch. The breakfast spread was okay and service here needs some attention.

Nothing better i could expect! Awesome stay, amazing careful staff in every area including GM and Duty managers and staff on board including swim pool. All staff are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and suggestions. To name them few i remember wait staff in dining and breakfast are Jitin, Bikram, and few more sorry i miss their names, Duty manager - Pintu Ray. Swim Guard staff Ajay Kumar Maurya taken care and good all times at pools with lovely smile, greetings and taken care of my stuff there. I spent ample time in awesome swim-pool. Front Desk Manager and staff Pragil and Shreejilesh and also rest taken well care of my stay. I noticed GM Mr Mukherjee was attentive and taken care of every detailed requests of guests. He was available, attentive to every guest, their requests with friendly approach. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional and magnificent. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in dining and breakfast hall. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. It was great pleasure spent my holiday there. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. It was my most memorable holiday so far. I wish and can't wait to visit repeatedly in future for longer stays.

I'm not sure where to start from. Check-in was ok but could have definitely been smoother, and i'm not sure the purpose of being in a high tier of a loyalty programme if this is acknowledged. The lobby was nice. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are run down, and renovation is well overdue I support environmentally friendly practices such as refil shower gel and shampoo, but at least have them refilled (which didn't happen even after asking)!!! Lastly, we were in the fifth floor closs to the gym, and early morning treadmill runners seem as if they banging on your head I won't come here again

Not at all representative of the brand of Le Meridien or Mariott.,Very dated rooms that smell bad.. bathroom had black grout.. and prices are way too high for this quality of a property jn India. I would not recommend. Needs a thorough renovation.

I recently had the privilege of staying at Le Meridien Kochi, and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, this hotel embodies luxury and sophistication The rooms and suites are spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with all modern amenities. The comfortable beds and plush furnishings make you feel like royalty. And, of course, the views from the rooms are simply spectacular. For business travelers, this hotel offers excellent meeting and conference facilities. The business center is well-equipped, and the attentive staff ensures that all your professional needs are met.

Le Meridien is one of my go to places to stay in Ernakulam. The staff is wonderfull and the rooms are also amazing. The property is grand and will make your stay feel special. Another amazing thing is the huge pool with 6 ft deep waters and i believe it's temp controlled. They have lots of land surrounding the hotel which is maintained well and has gardens and a Jogging track. The place is right next to a river which is again a bonus. The only gripe I have is the variety of food on offer. Le Meridien's chefs embrace the local cuisines and the guests get a taste of Kerala food and culture. However, I would love it if they have more north Indian and continental options too for the buffet and a la carte. But whatever is offered is really good. They always have great packages running for the club marriot membership which is super VFM. Reach out to them or DM me in case you need referrals.

I recently stayed for a day here with a friend and neither the room nor the service felt like that of a 5 star hotel. They were heavily understaffed and the staff that was present was either new or untrained. It felt like we had to tell them basic things like asking the valet the park our car, removing luggage from the car, showing us our room and even getting our luggage to our room. Considering that this is a 5 star hotel it was a very underwhelming experience. The rooms were average and considering the overall experience totally not worth the money. The property looks great, but beyond that this place has nothing more to offer.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a loyalty program.Hotel has very good outdoor pool which is very big and clean.Many people choose this hotel as wedding destination.Inside the hotel premise is chef pillai restaurant.Rooms are clean and big.Buffet breakfast is good with wide variety of dishes.Lunch also is very good lot of pickle varieties are available for pickle lovers.we ordered cake as well for our kid birthday cake was very tasty and beautiful.

Excellent location to stay in kochi with great view and escape from crowd..Breakfast buffet had wide range of varieties. Room service and food was really good. The reception service is average, needs to be improved..

This should be a 3- star hotel. Poor hospitality , stinking rooms and old hotel. These guys are highly understaffed most of them are inexperienced or interns. Really disappointing stay especially considering a brand of Marriott. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Yes location and property are fantastic but paying a premium is not justified.

Spend 2 days here. It was a memorable experience. The staff were very friendly. Special mention to chef Nirmal and team for their great food and hospitality. Will definitely visit again
