Great place to get puttu and curries. Period. They have beef, mutton and chicken options, fry and curry. The ambience is quite ordinary, don't expect anything great. The restaurant is at the end of a small lane and parking is really by the side of this lane. If you bring a car in, be prepared to reverse a long way. It is better to leave the car on the main road or at the entry of the lane, and walk the rest of the way.

Affordable and tasty food. The shop is open till 3am so if you have midnight cravings for Nadan Foods then this is your destination. PS: If you are coming by a car, it is better to park near the chapel

Okay place for night food,I been here many times, one suggestion better avoid this shop on weekends. When the crowds comes in food quality/taste goes down. Repeated heating of fried items are another issue which we noticed during crowdy days. If you wish to enjoy the authentic taste of puttu n mutton curry better go on weekdays.

The place itself make us happy, Lakes are surrounded the place and the place Kumbalam has three puttu kada as this. But this one is more old and classic look 😅. So we chosen this, their Beaf , chicken everything were so yummy. Puttu is also awesome. Their serving time is the highlight here, they serve from 7:00pm to 3:00am. And the price is not that much also. Recommended place ❤️

If you're in the area, you simply have to try the puttu at this small restaurant near the boat jetty. It's some of the best food around. Vegetarians should note that the veg options are limited, but still tasty. The location is nice, but it can get very crowded, so plan accordingly. Parking is also a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it for the delicious food.

This restaurant will open till 3 AM. Traditional style food, tastes homely. Puttu is good, and their non veg foods are tasty. Perfect for a night drive from Ernakulam city. The restaurant situated near Lake, so it's nice place for hangout with friends and family.

The food was served hot, especially the rice cakes. The chicken curry was spicy but had its fair share of flavours. And the black tea had the right amount of sugar. Papadam was also served.

I went there with my friends last night, we heard a lot about this restaurant, the restaurant opens only at night and closes early in the morning about 3:00 - 4:00 am We had tried puttu( steam cake) , porotta , appam , beef fry , chicken fry, chicken curry , pappadam , boiled duck eggs and black tea , Puttu was hot and tasty chicken curry and beef curry was also good especially the gravy of chicken curry was superb, but the chicken fry was not good, chicken fry was very oily and hard, and porotta was the worst, actually they don't make porotta it's from somewhere else, i only suggest puttu with pappadam and chicken curry And their service needs to be improved, i asked them for some chicken gravy but the staff told me to buy a curry , There is plenty of spaces for two wheeler parking, it's very difficult to park car there , I suggest better go there on weekdays there will be crowds on weekends, Atmosphere is also good ,

They do serve homely foods at a reasonable price. The service could have made better. Have to wait for a long time unattended. The location is just awesome to hang out even at late nights.

Parking available. It's an old cafe. opens only at night and closes early in the morning about 3:00 am. puttu and beef is the best combo. Mutton meat is a little hard to eat.

Me and my friends went to dine out from kochi to the beautiful side of kumbhalam The road was narrow and barely fit 2 cars at some points. Reaching there we parked the vehicles way before the shop. The shop was jamm packed so there was a little wait and miscommunication in service. Understandable. The puttu and curry (beef fry and curry) were surprisingly not so good. We ordered a second beef fry that came in a different way of making than the previous one and it was worse. The beef tasted different. Still fine, but what I expected was a decent kattan chai That too failed to reach my expectations Overall I had a low grade experience at this place. They do have a water frontage nearby where we can chat and rest (mind the hole in the concrete). Happy feasting!

Was a very beautiful and satisfying experience here. Reached at about 11.30 PM. Served with hot puttu, chappathi, chicken curry, beef curry, fish curry, and chicken fry. My personal favourite was the puttu-beef curry combo. Located just beside the backwaters✨.

It is a small shop that serves only a few items like putt and beef, chicken fry… Getting here is a bit difficult. Timing : 08 PM to 03 AM it's an okay food that you can try once. You will have to wait for a long time and don't expect much service.

Hot puttu and beef makes it all. Atmosphere is also good. Backwater lake is near by. For those who come by car better to park in the main road it self since car parking is not easy infront of the shop.

Heard a lot about this restaurant. Surprisingly it’s too crowded for a restaurant which is not near to the road. Food is available till 3 AM. May be due to my over expectations food was just ok for me.

This spot is a must-visit for night owls who crave some delicious puttu! While parking might be a bit tricky, the food here is worth it. We tried the puttu with chicken, mutton, and fish curry, and all of them were incredibly tasty. However, the real star of the show was the chicken fry – it was a delightful surprise! If you're looking for a unique late-night food experience and don't mind the parking challenge, this place is worth a try. Overall, a good food adventure that's sure to satisfy your late-night cravings.
