    Chammanadu Devi Temple is located in Cherthala town, within Alappuzha district on the highway. The striking feature of this temple is its splendid architectural design... A ten-day festival is celebrated in this temple in the month of Kumbha Maasam.

    Chammanad Devi Temple is a temple located 200 metres from the National Highway, between Vyttilaand the town of Cherthala (16 km from each place). The 10-day festival Utsavam is celebrated in Kumbha Maasam. In front of this temple there is a big play ground. The temple belongs to a resident family known as the "Ettu veettil kartha family", which is functionally now eight families and their sub-families only, along with their recommended members run the temple.

    Very nice temple keeping the ancient structure with out change ,on visiting the temple I am more attracted to Bhakti, the people who are in charge of the temple are more helpful

    Devi worship, Spacious,lots of space is there for parking but the problem is the temple is situated near to sea so the soil which makes difficult drive through and parking
