We spent new years here and I could honestly say that it was The best place to start the year. The property is extremely beautiful And we had a wonderful time. Our hosts were kindhearted and polite. The room was supremely comfortable. The accommodations were immaculate. The food was good.

The best place we have ever stayed! The lakehouse is absolutely wonderful with its location on the river and view looking out. The veranda of our villa had a great seating area overlooking the pool (which was perfect for a morning swim) and had a large, very comfortable bed and 2 very spacious bathrooms. The hospitality of the staff was amazing, we were so well looked after. Chef Aji’s cooking was delicious - we ate both dinner and breakfast at the lakehouse everyday and we couldn’t recommend it more. Especially the palappam for breakfast, the homemade onion pokada for a lunchtime snack and the ghee rice with Aji’s keralan beef dish for dinner. Whilst we were there we used the bicycles to explore the local village which was a lovely thing to do in the late afternoon, everyone we saw was so friendly. We really hope that we will come back one day!

Baymaas is a perfect getaway if you want to rejuvenate and recharge your batteries. The quiet calm of the place with the back waters and large green spaces is the perfect recipe for a relaxing holiday. I loved the fact that Baymaas has kept the place very earthy and rustic but with the best in class features and fittings. And the garden is home to loads of birds chattering and chirping away. The staff was the icing on the cake. Always smiling and ready to please! A must visit! ❣️

Excellent experience! The place is very calm, right on the water front with breathtaking views. The pool is nice for kids & for adults to relax. The rooms are very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone. There are mosquitoes, not a lot but still be prepared for a few mosquito bites. The road leading to the place is quite narrow but gives you a very close up view of the typical kerala houses.

Beautiful ancestral villa converted into vacation rental. Baymaas has 3 big sized cottages and plenty of space. Loved the freshly cooked meal prepared by inhouse chef, and their efforts to get things authentic. Kids loved the seating by the backwater and watching the boats sailing by.

A place to enjoy the backwaters and be away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life but still being at a close reachable distance. Ambience and decor of the rooms and property are good, especially if you want some good pics for insta. The pool was good and enjoying a drink in the pool watching the sun go down in the evening was really relaxing. The staff were very courteous and accomodative and food was excellent too. Reaching the place is a bit difficult as the roads are a bit narrow, but that is soon forgotten once you get there

Enjoyed our stay at Baymaas Lakeside. It was a wonderful experience for us . The Chef Aji and his team members Thomas,Vysakh,Nikhil,Parbin,, Shijin and Sharmila made our stay a very pleasant one.. The food prepared by the chefs was very tasty . Fortunately there was no rain when we stayed there and the weather was very pleasant . Due to this we had a great time enjoying the outdoors , the pool and the lakeside breeze . It was overall a memorable experience for me and my family members. Sashikala Mohanachandran

Excellent!!! Ambiance, hospitality, cleanliness, attitude of staff were all really praise worthy. Aji and team did a super job serving food which was freshly cooked and served hot and super tasty. Hope to come back and stay longer.. truly was an out of the world experience by the serene backwaters of Kerala.

Calm serene on river bank, well maintained lawn with games for children. A fish tank - good for watch..two bedroom house and a tree top stay...good for get together.. kitchen is available but you may order food with the owner who runs a catering service, if you feel it better to utilise the quality time with loved ones..

Very nice beautiful view. Good ambiance..transportation is difficult.. Inner roads are very poor condition. Near to lamerdian apartments
