The facilities are good. The staffs are nice. Most of the doctors are very good too. Maintained neat and tidy. Good canteen with expensive food . Although I happen to book a appointment with John Alexander , general medicine. He is not keen in listening to all the problems of the patient. At often times he becomes judgemental of patient's situation. Most of the time he has a rude behavior by neglecting the informations shared by the patient. Although this hospital has a good potential , such bad mannerism keeps them down. Thus, they must also get feedbacks from patients then and there so as to tackle these issues.

It's been 20 years, since this hospital 🏥 started to function. They give 10 percent reduction for medicines bought from their pharmacy for bills above Rs 2000

Good hospital. Has to wait hours to see the doctor. Dr Ramesh is very nice human. New building is having all facility and good infrastructure. But old building is bad.. Not neat.. Very hot and crowded. Rooms are provided in the old building for inpatient. For a single non ac room they charge 3250/-.The photos of the room is attached

Yes, it's expensive... I started with that because I mean it. (Not recommended for common people, cause even i can't afford this..😅) The infrastructure, cleanliness and the care they are providing give us a feeling that we are not a patient at all..We get a feeling that we are at a luxurious hotel or something.. The rooms are superclean and the view from here is also marvelous. Really liked the food here too(Expensive) They also have got good doctors with a lot of experience in every branches..

The feeling of not being a patient and being treated with all care is probably the best thing a patient would want. This place is a tad expensive for sure but the treatment and the experience they provide is beyond words. I was treated for a sciatic nerve pinch and was down with severe pain. The doctor diagnosed me accurately and provided me relief in just 2 days. Dr.Arun Oommen is a senior neuro surgeon and probably one of the best in cochin in the department. I was admitted for 2 days and we took the Deluxe room in the new block. The room is more like a hotel room. It’s super clean and everything is at your finger tips. The nurses are very experienced and caring. The food at the hospital is also of a hotel standard . I am glad I chose lakeshore, from the diagnosis to treatment everything is immaculate .

Really wonderful hospitality and offers best services. They have a good restaurant and room facility. Properly managed hospital near lakeside and hence, Lakeshore. Paediatric section is nice and doctors are well experienced. Staffs or nurses are very Cooperative and understanding. Security staffs work round the clock and offers better security. Casuality services are excellent and is always busy Free parking available at the backside and it might be mostly full during peak hours. Outside paid parking is available for 40rs.

All the doctors, nurses, attenders and everything around are great except for few people like Mr. Latheef ( on call manager) who is a person with zero common sense and no management skills. He never even listens to your concern and arrogantly says NO to everything. I wonder who made him the manager in such a reputed hospital. He claimed that he's been working here for 9 years and even if I complain, he's not going to loose his job. Dear management, If people like him are working here, foreign citizens like us are never coming back to this place again.

This hospital is one of the worst and if you wish to be alive please do not go anywhere near to this hospital. My mother was admitted in the hospital for 18 days and these people could not treat a simple case of infection. This hospital functions like a corporate company and they bother only about the profit it makes from a patient. They hardly bother about treatment and care. All doctors work here for a white collar job and are waiting for their general shift to complete everyday. One of the doctor who treated my mother also admitted that this is a corporate hospital and there is very less regard for patient care. Unfortunately my mother had an insurance cover and these hospital authorities made complete use of it to fill their balance sheets. She was subjected to 4 MRI, 3 CT scan, Biopsy, bone density tests, countless blood test, Xrays, ultrasounds and i am sure no patient can recover from the trauma of so many tests performed on them. She was moved to ICU and then to ventilator and then each day instead of offering treatment they were experimenting on her with costly tests and procedures like CRRT which costs 80,000 Rs a day. The main goal of doctors and nurses working here is to fill the balance sheet and profits of the hospital by recommending countless number of useless tests. My mother lost her battle to a simple case of infection which she acquired from the hospital. We raised multiple grievance with hospital and it went to deaf ears of the management. Mr Bilal just listens to these complaints and takes no actions. MY SERIOUS REQUEST TO EVERYONE IS NOT TO VISIT THIS HOSPITAL FOR ANY TREATMENT ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE

Highly expensive and services are not up to the mark. Some doctors are good especially in Nephro department. Food and beverage services are too expensive. I have done two major surgery here, total hip replacement and kidney transplant. But they did not do any consission. Felt very bad. I discharged from the hospital with zero account balance. Now struggling to lead further life...

It contains many clinics that specialize in the back, brain, kidneys and others. From the experience of my mother, I had a neurosurgery performed by Dr. Sadesh, and it was a successful operation, Alhamdulillah. I advise anyone who has nerve pain in the spine to do the operation and consult this hospital because there is a big difference before and after the operation. The hospital infrastructure is very good, especially the new building. There is separate car parking is arranged. Paid parking also available. Some doctors are excellent like Dr. Anandkumar V (for Cardiology). Registration charges (Rs. 200) and doctor's consultancy charges (Rs. 300) is also very affordable. Moreover revisit within 15 days is free. But problem is they charge exorbitantly from these patients who are admitted for some surgery or similar things. Not all doctors are good. Gynecology dept. (Dr. Thresy George) is not that good in this hospital. Neurology dept. and Dr. Prithvi Vargese is one of the best doctors that the hospital has. Dr. Krishna Kumar Menon (neurology) is not that experienced doctor I feel personally. All other things are maintained well. nurses and stuff are well behaved.

PLEASE DON'T EVER VISIT THIS HOSPITAL. THIS HOSPITAL IS INFESTED WITH LOT OF BACTERIA AND VIRUSES. My mother in law went to the hospital because of dizziness. They took a number of blood test and found that she has low sodium. Subsequently the doctor asked her to get admitted. She was in the outpatient ward and then admitted to semi private (twin sharing) ward. For 2 days the hospital took few other tests like ultrasound, xrays in addition to a number of different types of blood tests. On 3rd day, she developed some infection. The doctor said it is Staphylococcus infection which is a super bug and found only in hospitals. She was given 13 dose of antibiotics for 6 days. After that the doctors found that she is having some other gram positive and gram negetive infections for which she was given an escalated dose of antibiotics after admitting her to ICU. Each day her body was pierced for so many blood tests and her body became weak and developed pneumonia and sepsis. Poor lady she could not survive the trauma of so many tests and she collapsed after 20 days of tragic treatment. The hospital is solely responsible for the sudden demise of my mother in law. We raised a grievance with the hospital authority which is of no use. HUMBLE REQUEST TO EVERYONE ESPECIALLY THE AGED ONES IS NOT TO GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. THEY SHALL GET YOU ADMITTED, SUBJECT YOU TO INNUMERABLE TESTS AND YOU SHALL ACQUIRE SOME DANGEROUS INFECTIONS. We are losing time, money and most important our loved ones because of the stupidity of the hospital.

Lakeshore is known for its Expensive treatment cost with very poor quality rooms. Compare to aster or other hospital the ambience or room quality is like a government hospital. Room cost is very high. Many of my relatives are undergoing treatment in Lakeshore but later they regret and doesn't appreciate about the treatment. I'm planning to send a detailed email to the Chairman of the hospital about unreasonable pricing and malpractices in billing.

World class treatment. I would recommend this hospital to cancer patients. My brother had T-lymphoblastic lymphoma in 2016 and the treatment here was excellent. Excellent professionals, caring and determinate nurses and state-of-the art amenities. I'd give this a 8 out of 10.

I had a great experience here while admitted for a surgery for Hernia. Dr. Mahesh, a gentle man with sweet words and gestures, good understanding and a group of experts in surgery took up my case and I was so comfortable with them. The entire administration was excellent. To my surprise, my bill was less than that of expected and approximately proposed. The nursing and other services were very good. I have to specially mention one man, Mr. Vahab, patient coordinator. He was and is so sincere and dedicated. He is a man of very good caliber and I really feel that he is an asset to this Hospital. I saw his enthusiasm and personal interference with the patience to take up their matters and to offer suitable solutions.. May God bless him. I am a satisfied customer and would recommend this institution to my friends and relatives. I will never doubt or hesitate to give 5 star rating God bless... George Wilfred PG

If you come to oncology op, you have no idea what time you will be able to meet the doctor. (of course due to rush). No seniority on appointment. Indefinite waiting, sometimes from morning to night. Doctor decides which patient has to come first. In between we cannot go for food or refreshment. If there is a token display for appointments it will be useful for everyone,

Great service and good experience. I was undergone hip replacement surgery in a local hospital which was not successful and also infected severely. Fortunately I had visited your hospital and consulted Dr. Bibin Theruvil. He gave me full support and that helped me to gain confidence. Infected hip removed initially then again undergone hip replacement surgery. Both surgeries were successful. Now feeling much better.

I had been to Lakeshore for my total hip replacement surgery . I consulted Dr Bipin Theruvil whom I should say a life saver . So thankful for the confidence he gave before the surgery . The whole orthopaedic team gives you a good service . Nurses , attenders , counter staff . The physio department works with patients very well listening to them patiently. And of course the food they serve is awesome .

My mother in-law aged 73, was an inpatient in Oncology department, and she had undergone a surgery. The doctor suggested for a series of tests (including mammogram , 2 CT scans, biopsy test etc). All the tests came negative, but she has to visit the doctor for regular checkups. Now the doctor, is asking to do a Petscan, which my mother inlaw does not have the clue what it is. The people sitting in the reception told that the actual price is 21000 for the Petscan, but they can do for 15000. She got a bit confused with this huge DISCOUNT offer, and asked the doctor about the need of this special scan. The answer given by the doctor "How can you confirm that you don't have Cancer?". With the limited knowledge my mother in law has she replied that Biopsy results came negative. But the doctor was saying that, "Negative Biopsy results does not conclude that you don't have Cancer".Is this is the way the doctor has to respond to a patient? I am not a specialist to conclude that the Petscan needs to be done. But the way the doctor responded cannot be justified. I am not mentioning the name of the doctor here. But when she read this review, she has to think twice, that the way the responded was right or not.. Shame on you ... I am not able to find a reply option for your first reply. Please share your email address in the post, so that I can discuss further on this matter. Thank you !!!

I am fully satisfied with the treatment and other services, especially from Dr H Ramesh. One very poor experience is about their discharge formalities. If discharged at 9.30 am, the patient won't get the discharge summary before 4 pm so that he can't leave the hospital before 5 pm. I request the staff concerned to speed up the discharge formalities at least for patients from far places.

I got 3 members of my family admitted in VPS Lakeshore hospital for COVID. The service from the doctors and nursing staff was excellent. Apart from health concerns, I was also worried about the isolation of my family members, particularly of those who were aged. But the staff at Lakeshore never made them feel lonely. On a daily basis, while taking all precautions including full ppe kit, the staff intercated freely with them, never making them feel isolated. Daily check ups were done and all patients were closely monitored for any abnormalities or symptoms. Within 10 days all my family memebers tested negative. Thank you team VPS Lakeshore 🙏

The doctors whom I had interacted were good. But if you admit there under insurance, consider you are the scape goat. All sorts of tests will be conducted since the money will be given by the insurance company. Lot of unwanted things will be ordered on behalf of you (like gloves..etc.) which they dont use. For every visit you need to pay to see the doc. You might have visited the Doc on Monday but you have to pay if you want to meet them on wednesday. In the ward, nursing care is little on a bad side. Very lethargic team of nurses. They don't keep track of the medications that you should be having. They sometimes miss to give you the required medications. The room size is very small for the price that you are paying. Better room expected. Parking space is almost nil. The receptionist staffs are arrogant. The bill provided during diacharge is not self explanatory. No detailed bill provided. Please change your tag line... anything in abundance is a danger :)

The old block need some renovation and rectification. The Lake shore hospital is on international standards with reasonable cost. Azeemuddin

To the esteemed Lakeshore Family, I extend my utmost gratitude to each and every one of you. I recently had the privilege of visiting Lakeshore Hospital for my daughter's heart surgery, and I am deeply grateful for the exceptional patient care and compassion displayed by Dr. Sujith, Dr. Nebhu, Dr.Sandhya and their outstanding team. They provided thorough explanations of every aspect of the treatment, ensuring that we were well-informed and at ease. Their warm and approachable demeanor truly put my daughter at ease and made us all feel comfortable. I must also acknowledge the invaluable support provided by the nursing and paramedical staff, which I sincerely appreciate. Lastly, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Vahab-Executive patient care services , who was by my side throughout my daughter's hospital stay, efficiently coordinating every aspect without any delay. Once again, I extend my most sincere thanks to all of you, and may God bless each and every one of you. Warm regards,

My experience with the hospital service recently has been very bad. It seems to be an after affect of the Covid situation but the hospital has been really inept at making it better. There is simply no way of getting any information properly which is annoying. We can't see the doctor either and consulting has become more like internet consulting. I hope the management sorts out these service issues.

I had bad experience with the oncology deparment OP on 10-09 2021. I have been waiting from 2 pm noon as a by stander for my chance. From the reception on the same floor informed me that, need to come after lunch before 4 o clock to see the doctor, otherwise there wont be any chance to see the doctor. While writing this, i am siting here as the last person. But lot of others including a persion reached 7 o clock could see docter before us. Very pathatic way of customer handling.

Admited my father for some diagnosis. Shabby rooms, torn bedsheets, stained pillow cover. There was no lock for bathroom and the main door. No proper maintenance. Food/Canteen service was nice. Staffs were friendly and supportive.

My mother was admitted there for almost 5 months. Never ever had to deal with any difficulties during the months. And the service was super great. Couldn’t have asked for a better treatment and service than this. Would like to highlight Anoop, Princy, Rishmy, laxmii, and the nurses of 6th floor, for the great service and help they provided. Special thanks to our doctor Johny Kannampilly. Without him, she wouldn’t have survived this much. I would highly suggest this hospital for any kind of treatment to come. One the very best worldwide.

My wife was admitted here for a surgery in the Urology department. A hospital with experienced doctors, modern facilities and very good ambience. Friendly and helpful fast track all staffs. Ample parking space. At OP section unnecessary waiting should be avoided. Can be more systematic and should keep the time schedule promptly. Workload of the department coordinator's seems to be very hectic. Insurance section need to work more responsibly and effectively to get maximum cashless approvals to the customers.

I recently had a very positive experience visiting your hospital. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facility was spotless and modern. All of the medical staff I encountered were professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for providing such quality care. It's reassuring to know that there are still medical facilities that prioritize patient safety and comfort so highly. Thank you again for your excellent service!

The doctors and nurses made the treatment so pleasant and gave me such peace of mind. The hospital was excellent in every way, including treatment quality and monitoring. The op side is so crowded and has so many formalities that it is understandable, especially since there are so many services available at such low prices. However, the admitted patient side is extremely calm and peaceful. Overall, excellent care. They guarantee that everything will be fine, and management staff makes certain that everything is fine.

The treatment and care provided to my father were exceptionally outstanding, and it is difficult to find adequate words to express our gratitude towards the doctors who attended to him. My father received prompt and proper medical attention within 24 hours of admission, and he has now been discharged from the hospital. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses, staff, and everyone involved in delivering such exceptional care at this facility. Entire process from Admission-Treatment-Patient care-Discharge was very smooth Once again thanking all the doctors, nurses, staff of Urology Department, and everyone including Security People and people who handling the parking of the vehicles.

I recently visited VPS Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi for medical treatment and I must say that I had a great experience. The hospital is easily accessible from the highway and the facilities are top-notch. The doctors and nursing staff are highly professional and knowledgeable. However, I would suggest that the hospital management should improve the patient waiting areas, especially the medical emergency area and surgical ICU waiting area. There aren't enough seats available and no plug points to charge mobile phones, which can be a major inconvenience for patients and their families. Overall, I would highly recommend VPS Lakeshore Hospital for anyone in need of multi-speciality medical treatment in Kochi.

Had the worst experience! Lost my mother so soon who was asymptomatic until new drug was given , who had Periampullary carcinoma stage 4 ( which began with confusion stage 3) Horrible nursing care especially in Onco ICU. Rude atitude of oncologist Dr Anandu and nurses Sanya, Muthulakshmi. They have zero empathetic approach.Dr Anupriya intern or trainee another doctor for whom life of human is like animals on road. I wanted to move my mother from that hospital but poor my mother blindly trusted her treating doctors capabilities so much. In a deluxe room which charges 30% additionally on everything, there was a power cut causing oxygen support failure and top of that when called for an emergency help it was totally ignored by Muthulakshmi, the nurse who was constantly defining & declaring end of my mothers life in front of her(My Mother) who was conscious and to us from a week before. The floor/ward nurse also doesnt know there is a functional oxygen line in room. For her the value of my mother’s life was so cheap that her explaination was “anyways your mother's lungs are comprised and it doesnt make any difference”. A day later after the incidence of oxygen support failure she got pneumothorax in the ICU for which no explanation was given as to how it occurred and they declared her reason for death as cardiopulmonary arrest due to disease progression. They do not like to be asked questions as it causes their ego to stir up. They should study what are patient’s rights are. They have zero transparency. Dear admin , before you paste your reply to my review please do your homework of checking on emails sent with inquiries on my mother’s case. I will NOT recommend anyone, especially for oncology care and especially if for your parents and if it is stage 4. To all people out there please do an extensive investigation on medications they try on you. Very vague radiology reporting with no details. There is no MDT approach.

this hospital is best in all aspects i.e facilities, record maintaining and patient treatment the hospital staff treats us like we are part of their family. the doctors and nurses always strive to give best treatment to my wife and child and at the same time the staff is very cordial and helpful. although all the staff at lakeshore hospital is remarkable however i would specifically like to mention name of two doctors one is Dr SMITHA JOY, MS (OBS-GYN) who was doing the treatment of my wife pre delivery, during delivery and post delivery, is a motherly figure and we never felt we are away from my family for a single second because of her calm, composed and friendly manner while attending us. Another is Dr Arun A, Senior paediatrician with whom our family had a remarkable experience , the way he attends us always with a smile is stupendous. further both the doctors responds to you whenever they can even after hospital hours which is boon in this corona period . sir and madm my family i.e me ankit, my wife Prerna and my daughter Jadu are deeply grateful to you and to all the Lakeshore staff for providing us with healthy, safe and remarkable atmosphere. we will always cherish the memories at Lakeshore hospital

We were blessed with a baby girl in dec 20 at lakeshore hospital. During this period, staff took great care of my spouse and displayed utmost professionalism whilst handling delivery. Dr thresy George, gynaecologist helped my wife during pregnancy phase from the first day till delivery of the baby and especially during Covid-19 scenario. I would also like to convey special thanks to Dr arun, Paediatrician, for being with the baby from day one and helping the mother and baby during initial phase. We have been visiting Dr Arun on a regular intervals as we find confidence in him. He has been very caring yet very professional and never misses our calls for any telephonic advice every in late hours. We thank him for taking care of our baby. At the end, we would like to thank entire staff of lakeshore who helped us during this journey.

My wife was admitted in Lakeshore hospital for cancer treatment on 4th January 2021 and she died on 18th February. She was a patient of Dr VP Gangadharan for the last six years. During the fourtysix (46) days of stay variou tests were done to clear the bowel obstruction. The gastroenterologists were dragging the treatment supported by oncologists. Hence she was not given cancer treatment like Nab Paclitaxel injection suggested by oncologists of Astermims Kozhikode in the discharge summary in her disease progressive stage. I think Dr Vijesh oncologist who came for daily rounds is reponsible for this serious fault and he may not discussed with Dr VP Gangadharan. The oncologists and Gastroenterologists replied differently about the success of duodenal stent . When the Gastroenterologist told me as success but oncologists were not with the same opinion. Dr Govind told me there may be obstruction at the other end of the stent. I firmly believe that if they start cancer drugs at an earlier stage Anitha may live few more years.

We travelled from Abudhabi to kochi last January dreamed spending wonderful time with family. Everything became upside down when my son Aidhen ( 2years old ) admitted to Lakeshore due to pneumonia. He was in high flow machine support. Seeing him like that was heartbreaking to us. But the care and support my son received from pediatric department was overwhelming. We are extremely thankful to Dr Satheesh Kumar, who was my Son's primary physician. His supported us during the whole stay in the hospital, explained every single details of our son's condition to us. I had never seen a down to earth doctor like him. I would like to mention Dr Jeethu (pediatric resident) for her special consideration for my son.she always visited my son and comforted us.Thank you Nursing team..you all are amazing...Thanks a lot

If there is one hospital that’s not punctual its lakeshore. Its a place for the rich and Powerfull with loads of money to waste. If you have an appointment scheduled then you better plan to wait at the hospital for an entire day or better yet take a room there and rest. Twice we had to wait almost an entire day to see a doctor. After consulting we were asked to report at the hospital at 7am next day which we did. We were still waiting for surgery even after 7pm as the doctor is busy. If you know the doctor is going to be busy then why make us come and wait here for an entire day doing nothing. Even when we kept asking every hour we did not get a proper response. The only reply is “will call soon”. You people are pathetic. I would also like to add that there is no proper communication channel between staff. We had to explain our story from scratch to every staff we meet. In my experience with another hospital we just had a smart card for the patient which we had to show whenever required and did not have to explain things everytime. There are much better hospitals in Kerala with excellent service and low cost.

Very Bad Hospital service and Staff behaviour. Management still does not control their staff, they don't know how to behave and how to make customer relationships, it can be understood while contacting them through telephone. " Is this a super speciality hospital? "   I cannot think...  facilities and doctors are OK, but staff and Nurses services are very bad, cannot compare with other Superspeciality hospitals.  Currently Government hospitals are much more better than Lakeshore hospital.

Hello, I am writing this letter with so much happiness. Last Sunday, an unexpected event happened. My father evacuated from kalpeni, lakshadweep Island with severe, non subsiding back pain that he has been suffering for the last 2 months. I saw him racked with pain, and I was in the middle of the ocean of thoughts what to do. I immediately made a phone call to Mr. Vahab (executive patient care service) from where I got a very good service and more over a great support. I thank him very happily. He suggested me this great doctor, Dr. SUDISH KARUNAKARAN and the TEAM The person to whom I am really, really thankful and will never ever forget this person in my life. I can't thank you enough. Thank you for giving my healthy, happy father back. And the service we got from here is actually unexplainable. And more over I really got inspired for my future in this house surgeoncy period after seeing Dr. Sudish karunakaran. The way he treats, the way he make us understand about the disease conditions and proper treatment gave me relief. Thank you so much Lakeshore family❤️

I had a highly disappointing experience at the Oncology OP of this hospital. The lack of adherence to scheduled timings, disregard for patients' time, and an unconscionable delay in consulting a doctor, with a tube-fed patient waiting from 11 AM until 6 PM even after prior booking, reflect a level of cruelty towards patients. Despite paying substantial fees, the consultation process was pathetic compared to government hospitals. As a working professional who has taken leave for three days for doctor consultation, the unavailability of other department doctors at this hour prevents me from seeking necessary consultations. I have to again take leave for consulting the other speciality doctors and ultimately its delaying the treatment of my father even after confirming the disease in the biopsy two weeks before. The arrogance and insensitivity of the staffs in the OP towards the physical and mental traumas of cancer patients only add to the distress. It's perplexing why the hospital fails to provide proper consultation times during booking. In stark contrast, another multispeciality hospital I visited recently managed appointments efficiently. This hospital seems to operate akin to government hospitals from the 1990s. If I could give a negative 5-star rating, I would undoubtedly do so. I humbly request the attention of the management to introduce atleast proper reporting time to patience along with token while booking. Please.....
