Temple is old but remains as s spirit of heritage. The temple is controlled by Cochin devasom board. It gains popularity for karkidaka vavu bali. There is a belief that the idol of Shiva ( shiva linga) Ashtabandam by Lord Parashurama. The temple's main festival is THIRUVATHIRA MAHOLSAVAM and KARKIDAKA VAVU.The Vishnu temple is also a part of the thirunettoor mahadeva temple.

Words will not do justice in capturing the experience in the temple. A slice of heritage - the Siva temple stands in green verdant surroundings. Feeling blessed to have Darshanam of Lord Siva. Lord Krishna temple is adjacent to this temple - such a special feeling to be in the temple. The whole place has beach sand which left us surprised. A must visit temple not known to many people.

Being so close to the highway and also amidst the cluttered market n streets of Nettur, you'll be surprised to see how peaceful this temple is! One among the 108 temples consecrated by Parasurama.

Most peaceful temple just a few kms away from highway. It's an old temple of Lord Shiva depicting an ancient type of architecture. A long pond with innumerable number of large fishes in the front of temple adds beauty to the surrounding.

Very nice temple with a huge temple pond. There are two temples side by side one with main deity Lord Shiva and other Mahavishnu. Two bhadrakali temples (Pattupurakkal) one north and other south are also to be visited. During annual festival, also known as utsavam, Lord Shiva and two devi's unite in a grand procession between these temples.

A very beautiful ancient temple. Located in a peaceful environment far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is also a Vishnu temple nearby. It is best to visit the temple at dusk and sit on the steps of the Theerthakulam. A special super ambience 🙏🙏
