Very helpful service over whatsapp to arrange the booking, on very short notice. Wonderful tour - the boat ride was extremely peaceful with lots.of amazing bird sightings. The village tour, while short, was worthwhile for the delicious coconut. This tour and service was a great way to really see the backwaters off the main path. Very authentic and traditional! The owner was very helpful in ensuring we found the place and that we got a rickshaw after the tour - his driver was respectful and timely.

We had a very memorable shikara ride at Kochi backwaters today around 3 pm for 2 hours.. The people are so warm and welcoming! The views were serene and utmost peaceful! Little bit of drizzle and cloudy skies made it perfect day for this ride! Aneet was very kind!

Absolutely loved the cruise. Being a female and travelling solo to Kerala, I had apprehensions of doing the cruise alone. Mr. Panicker assured me of complete safety and peace of mind. The person navigating the boat was very friendly and soft spoken. He took a lot of my photos at various spots. I recommend the cruise to everyone who visits Kochi. I will surely do this cruise again on my next visit to Kochi. P.S. Due to the covid situation traditional kerala lunch could not be arranged. That would have been a cherry on the cake.

AN ADVENTURE SEEKER'S Paradise!!! 🏝️🛥 🌊 🥥 🐠 It seems harder nowadays to find untouched paradises, but if you try hard enough, you might just surprise yourself.!! Our team just recently travelled to cochin for our site visit and bumped into Mr. Aneeth introduced to us by our team head, Mr. Wilson ,who was kind and generous enough to show us around the 🏝 Valanthakad Island(paradise i mentioned about) , near Cochin backwaters... The experience we had, was beyond expectation😊. Serene quiet place, with lush green valleys, migrating birds, friendly neighborhood around, fresh backwaters, in sync with nature, which will make you drop your phones aside and soak up with spectacular views. Sound of freshwater streams, raw fragrance of nature and sun glistening thro trees casting shadows thorough play of light, to capture all this is worth travelling all the way up here. Occasionally we did catch some jellyfishes swimming around We were glad and taken by surprise, couldn't wipe the smile of our faces and no one wanted to head back at the end of the trip. Ohh and Aneeth did take us by surprise.. With tender coconut breaks.. . Perfect combo to go with.... He was friendly, warm by nature and did explain quite well about directions where we were heading the entire time We do have some pictures, memorable ones.. In all it was a pleasant experience, hope to visit again soon. Guys do visit this place.

Had a wonderful experience with Kochi backwaters!! I came solo and it was wonderful and serene. The whole process of booking was smooth and hassle-free, the shikhara ride for two hours was beautiful, serene and informative. The staff were friendly and kind. Overall it's an excellent way to enjoy the backwaters within kochi.

I and my husband opted for a backwater tour by this company in vaikom(nearest to kochi) since we did not had allepy in our trip. The experience was splendid,peaceful.. We got experience of the big boat and also the kayaking. Me Suresh (our guide) let us dow the kayak too and showed the village life at water banks. The trip ended with kerelian lunch in own house of a auntie who lived at water bank. She also live demoed the process of making the sheds using coconut tree leaves. It costed us a bit more since we went off season and so the entire boat had to be booked by us two..but it was all worth it! Thanks to the team! Sharing some pics

Really beautiful experience in every sense. Right from the seamless booking of the boat with Mr Panicker to the actual backwater cruise itself, this place is worth every penny spent. Shinu our boatman showed us some very pretty mangroves and we cruised through villages dotted with tall coconut trees and fish and duck farms. A truly green village backwaters experience topped with first class hospitality. I highly recommend them.

Found it on Google and had a 2 hour ride with a Shikara the day after. It was a relaxing cruise in Mangrove forests and backwaters. Saw a lot of birds and impressions from living at water side. We enjoyed this trip really!

Excellent experience from start to finish. We (6 in party) did the sunrise cruise in a private shikara boat. As was promised by Anith, the entire tour was away from the city and closer to nature. We saw a beautiful sunrise, several birds and mangroves! Overall highly recommended!

You would get city view by riding in a boat. It's adventurous one to get your feet on marshlands. Mostly every boat men would try to give you better experience by driving nearby marshland.

Did the sunrise cruise. Best time of day as it was so calm and peaceful. Saw lots of birds and stopped off to climb through the mangroves. Easy to deal with and good value compared to some of the other tours we looked at. It is basic, but we weren’t there for something fancy … we just wanted to see the beauty of the backwaters and we did that.

If you want to experience back water rides then you can prefer kochi back water boat rides. They have different boats like speed boat, kerala boat. It cost minimum 3000 per couple for 1 hour ride. In this one hour they will show you fish farming , Chinese fishing method , mangrove forest . The guide will explain complete process of fish farming and Chinese method fishing.

Beautiful experience and must do activity at Kochi. We contacted the place earlier and booked a private cruise for 4 for 2 hours. Very friendly and experienced boatman took us on a beautiful cruise through the backwaters, even taking us through a small mangrove patch where he docked the boat and we were able to climb the mangroves. Perfect activity to relax and soak in the natural beauty of Kochi backwaters. Highly recommend this place for a cruise.

We simply walked to the place without any expectations. And as they say "the best is gifted without asking", was perfectly applicable for us after having the Shikara ride. Thanks to the owner , he is a gentleman and did reduce a good amount after a bit negotiation.

Fully recommended backwater cruise if you stay in Kochi. We clarified all details by phone, the owner gave us tips when to start the tour so that we see birds and indeed we saw many incl. a kingfisher. We went through small channels, saw different mangroves and fish/prawn farms, a few locals and no other tourists. The fresh coconuts from a palm tree and climbing on a mangrove tree were top highlights for our kids. Due to the diversity of the experiences, they kept their attention for the full 2 hours. We fully recommend this experience - the staff tries to fulfill all requests. They are on time. And very caring!

Hello dear people! I want to share own experience with boat trip. We were group of three. Decided to explore at last minute. So there was not too many chances that we could find a boat. But the gentleman Anith was very helpful. He met us on the place and kindly gave us maximum time to meet a sunset. The captain was nice and smiley. While driving he gave us information about the place and history, he stopped for pictures and slow the boat for nice videos. I totally recommend this tour for amazing pictures and nice memories ❤️

It was a nice 2 hours' experience at Kochi Backwaters. The boat was comfortably decorated and not much noisy. Enjoyed the beauty of coconut gardens, Mangroves, the fishermen in action, numerous birds in the Kochi Backwaters. It was really a refreshing experience. Mr. Anith was so cooperative all along, even helped with his contacts for hotels and vehicles also.

It was a lovely trip. Originally we were looking for a house boat but Kochi Backwaters suggested a small private boat as it is highly praised by many customers. We booked for 1.5 hrs but we extended to 2 hrs because it was just so nice. The sun and the breeze were just perfect and the scenery was amazingly serene. Our pilot Shibu arranged drinks for us by climbing a tree and it was the best coconut water (and meat) I've had in Kochi. We will definitely recommend the Kochi Backwaters company's tours and their private boat trips!

I went to kochi backwaters with my family it was like 2 hours in the boat and that two hours was the coolest time in this year, with rain, wind and small small islands.

We had a wonderful time with our family. Our captain ,Mr Shine was a delight. Totally worth it !

Anith arranged a kayak for me upon request for a good rate. The backwaters are very relaxed and you can enjoy the calm waters in a kayak. Would recommend calling them up before visit.

If I were to sum up the experience in few words, it would say pleasantly surprised! With all the activities merely closed due to lockdown we six friends reached out to Blue Waters for an afternoon cruise. The owner ensured we got a nice boat with a reliable and friendly captain Shine, who not only cruised us through the beautiful backwaters but also ensured we captured in our frames the scenic beauty of the place. An avid photographer himself, Shine went out of his way to click beautiful pictures of us. The cruise was about 2 hours with several pit stops for photography sessions. Needless to mention the scenic beauty of the backwaters were mesmerising and the sunset at the end of the cruise was icing on the cake. All in all it was an afternoon well spent. Take some snacks & beverages with you if you want to make it a picnic and most importantly keep your bladder empty as you won’t be able to get out of the boat during the trip.

It was a nice getaway from the lockdown situation to spend a few hours with family and friends in a very natural surroundings. The staff was very courteous and that made the outing all the more enjoyable!
