Possitive: -Excellent nature, beautiful location. -Boating is awesome Negatives: pls improve immediately. - Restaurant staff ladies are old and very rude with visitors. They are thinking that visitors are their slaves. So, please train them to behave properly with visitors. Or change staff immediately. Teach them to be polite with visitors to attract more visitors. - Keep a complaint box to know visitor’s views - There is a toilet in restaurant which they keep locked after 2.30pm. So, no hygiene toilet available at the premises. So, please make 3-4 toilets with a cleaning staff to keep toilet hygiene always. Or allow access for visitors to restaurant toilet after restaurant time also. - The manager should communicate with visitors to know their views. - food is not served in floating restaurant yet. We need to keep floating restaurant to be available during working hours. -

Best place to spend a day with family, but the staffs are not friendly especially in the restaurant. They belive we came there for free and food provided is their favour/ biksha. Special food items are there but would say no due to the difficulty in cooking and serving.

Nice place to relax. There is nothing much to explore or experience. It's just a walkway in the middle of the lake. At the end of the path, have some good climate change. There is a long walking distance from the parking space. There is not much good parking availability. Have a good lunch with delicious curries. Also have some lake fish special items with extra charge. I don't think the package is not value for money. Maximum we can spend 1hr to 1.5 hrs there. Pedel boats are available, this may be the main attraction of palakkari. Also we can see some fish agriculture. Charges will be 300 per person including lunch, boating, and experience. Also they were given a small size ice cream. Still I don't know why they added it to the package. Really not good. It's just for naming attractions. I have a lot of expectations before we went there. Only 1 Time we can go there. Nothing special than one time visiting. For the timing, the fee may change. Evening time packages are in a different fee schedule. We 14 Nos. planned a trip from palakkari to Pathira manal by boat.costing 1000 rs per head. The journey was totally boring with a local private boat. No leisure time ,relaxation during the journey and hault locations such as ktdc thanneer mukkam bund and pathira manal. 90 % of total time from 7.30 AM to evening spend for journey.Food supplied in paper plate , tea without snack is also unsatisfactory. BETTER TO AVOID THE TRIP.

Full day Rs:350 and 3pm-6pm Rs:150 (without food and tea/snacks)...not at all worth for this money and poor services...

And the actor Mamooty's native place Chempe is near by. A good picnic spot for family getogether.some resorts are also near by.

We reached there by 1:15 pm. RS.250 for entrance which includes fish curry meal which gives you a pretty good feel as the fish is very fresh. It is reasonable even if we add special dishes. We can spend good time with kids if you have patience and like to spend time with children. Enough play area for children. Their ticket costs give you access to play area, pedal boating and fishing rode. I prefer going there in the afternoon by 1. Govt spots only expect the same kind of service. It is fine for this cost.

Some dedicated supervisors required. Washbasin without water. Area can be better utilised as it is a beautiful site with natural scene. Give training to staff to behave properly. We took the "Tarangini" package Farm manager was patient and answered all our queries and provided detailed information. Staff made us feel comfortable with stay I would say this place is hidden gem. Backwater ride, row boating, pedal ride, Fishing, Cage culture and scenic lake view are few highlights. Breakfast, Lunch and snacks were good.

The place is really good! It's really beautiful and the food was not really good bcs they provide a fish with throns which kids can't eat and the selection of curries were bad! The men staffs are really kind and good behaving but the women are really rude! When we asked for water they told us to fetch from river it because they doesn't even have a generator! And the boating and all are good! Park is really clean and nice. So expect the staffs everything is all good!

Open now. I went there at 4pm ticket 100rs for adult. Extra rs150 for speed boat -15min. Tea snaks free. Pedal boating ride free.

It's not the best but a good place to spent weekend with family......evening time is the apt hours of the day to spent time here and do kayaking, pedal boating, etc.....it's better to take tickets when u visit rather than by online early, there are much more cheaper packages available than the tharagani package......food was just average.......speed boating was below expectations and also the shikari boat was so old and rusty.......

A nice place for an eveing hangout or a family get together. Its a serene place.. on the banks of backwaters there is a big fish farm and you can do fishinv here.. there is also good restaurant with seafood and meals at noon. And pazham pori fish cutlet and tea during evenings.. they also have pedal boating and kayaking.. hammocks are there for taking a relaxing nap. ITS A GOOD PLACE TO VISIT AND SPEND A COUPLE OF HOURS.. Nb: the place will close at 6pm so please come here before 4 pm. Otherwise its a waste..evening ticket are less expensive.. we can do boating with that ticket.. morning/noon ticket is about 300-350 per head(not sure about exact price) Its inclusive of lunch and icecream..

Nice ambience. Don't expect too much. It's a scenic beauty mostly and not created one. Food is good but again don't expect too much. Food included in the entry pass will have only 2 small pieces of fish ( one free and another Curry). U can order prawns or karimeen or kakka etc. as special item. But mostly they won't tell you what u can get additionally. That's something which I didn't like. They don't tell u the options at the entry or during lunch. But at ice cream counter they told the options. Pedal boat is included with entry pass. Speed boat, shikara boats are available at extra cost. Fishing rods (not rods but naadan choonda) are available for rent at 20 rs. Fish caught can be taken home, but u will have to pay for the fish.

Very bad...Its waste of money. I dont suggest this place anymore. They have increased charges from inr 50 to inr 150 on pub holidays post afternoon, with no added facility. Its a total disorganised functioning. Totally disappointed and will never come again.....
