Jill is EVERYTHING mentioned in the reviews! She's a caring and empathetic of my chronic pains I've had for YEARS. Of all the places I've gone for healing around America (Im not kidding!), I found Jill in Golden to be the solution of all my problems. She aims for the root of the problem and her solutions for me are guaranteed but I need to commit to the physical therapy exercises. On top that, Jill coaches me when I'm out of town via texting. Shows she really cares! Im proud to say that I'm really on the road to healing towards a pain free life!!! THANKS to you Jill and Ill be back in Golden! :)

I came to Transform for PT and saw Jill to help with terrible shoulder, neck and back pain for so many years of poor posture and neglecting to use core muscles correctly. After a few sessions I was pain free! Jill gives so many useful exercises to practice at home and I love how attentive she is to my personal needs. I exercise 5 times a week and now I am able to perform strength training exercises more efficiently without any pain and I am stronger than I ever have been. If you are having pain of any kind, go see Jill! It will change your life!

I'm super happy I found Jill. I had been suffering from foot pain related to a slipped disc and she has not only helped me get the rid of the pain, but has helped with exercises to maintain being pain free. I still see her monthly to keep up with other aches and pains that come along with being active and getting older. She's an amazing resource and should be part of anyones healthcare team.

Jill is an excellent, highly trained PT and yoga instructor who genuinely cares about her clients, tailoring her exercises and classes to specific needs. I’ve LOVED the private sessions as well as the online classes— such a nice mix of personal attention and an opportunity to be with a group. Jill is an amazing person. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I went to Jill for a chronic injury. She gave me self management strategies for when it flares up and prevention strategies to keep it stable. She is very pragmatic - keeping things simple and efficient so I am able to stick with it. She really helped me and I feel confident that I know exactly what to do when the issue arises again.

Jill is an excellent physical therapist. She quickly got to the root of my hip and back problems and gave me exercises to begin to realign and strengthen my body in the right places. Plus, she did body work that relieved my pain. I would recommend her to anyone!

Jill has helped me gain more strength, better balance, and improved posture. She always listens to my concerns and designs a plan of action to address those concerns. I am an avid traveler, so having confidence in my physical abilities is quite important to me. I credit Jill with helping me develop that confidence!

Jill and the work she does changed my life. I know this sounds like a dramatic statement but it is the truth. Her mind and body connection focused physical therapy brought me healing in many ways. I struggled with PTSD, depression and anxiety as well as physical limitations and physical pain for years. Always treating one or the other to find some but only temporary relief. I look at my physical, emotional and spiritual health as a web now and it has caused immense lasting healing for me I highly recommend her and her studio! Thank you Jill!!! I adore you!

I have been seeing Jill Getty for more than a year, for help with physical therapy ]and recovery training for multiple issues relating to several injuries and surgeries I received in the past few years. She is an incredibly knowledgeable and professional practitioner and is a very sensitive and compassionate individual, always addressing the needs of the whole person, including yoga and balance training, dietary and lifestyle advice. I have recommended several friends and acquaintances to her and will gladly do so again.

Jill is a thoughtful and caring physical therapist who has an amazing talent for looking at a pain point (or two, or three) holistically. We’ve had about 9 sessions together now and have addressed my original reason for coming to see her as well as stumbled across some other issues that are linked to it. I feel more balanced, pain-free, stronger, and have a much greater awareness of/vocabulary for describing what’s going on in my body. I’m grateful for her knowledge, warmth, and ability to go with the flow! There’s always a loose plan for what needs to be done each session, but sometimes I come in needing support in a different area and she seamlessly pivots. (For example - I WIPED OUT on the ice a couple hours before a session one time and we spent the entire time tending to my wounds. After, I healed better/quicker from a fall than I ever have!) She’s a gift!

I was swimming 3+ miles a day for about two years before my shoulders and neck started to lock up. This started to bring down my mileage to the point where I couldn't even finish half a mile. I had tried 2 different PT offices and 2 chiropractors but I wasn't seeing any progress despite a good amount of money and HOURS of work on my end. I decided to give Jill a try despite her being out of network and the difference was immediately noticeable. - Jill's holistic approach was far beyond all other PTs I've worked with over the years. She found pressure points and tightness in places that nobody had even looked for before. Some didn't seem like they could have anything to do with my neck/shoulders at first. - Jill's follow-up after each appointment is wonderful and thorough. This was very helpful as a lot of the exercised/stretching she gives you are simple while you're there but you could easily waste your time doing them incorrectly on your own. Her documentation and follow-ups at the next appointment make sure that you're still doing everything correctly. - she accommodates your lifestyle / activities so that you have exercises and stretches that you can mix in to stuff you're already doing. I'm heading out to do a 500 mile hike and I've got a whole list of things I can do on the trail to stay comfortable and healthy while in the backcountry. In a nutshell, some of my pec/shoulder/back/and especially neck muscles were too tight to even reach at the beginning of April. Now I have no neck or shoulder pain, probably an extra 45 degrees of rotation in my neck, and way more confidence for my hike than I expected (I didn't even start working with Jill regarding my hike, just my swimming). Do not hesitate to work with Jill! And do not waste your time looking elsewhere or in-network. Problems only get worse and will end up costing you more in the long run!! I learned that the hard way. On top of everything, she's also just a very cool person to meet and is great to chat with. 100/10 stars!

Long overdue. I hurt my back during exercise, sitting on a bench in between sets and turning to talk to someone! Jill had me standing straight after my first session and back to an active lifestyle faster than I could have imagined. Jill combines PT with yoga. It's unique and long term powerful. Working with Jill I have been stronger, without any incidents or pain. Many thanks to Jill for the therapy, teachings and my morning stretching and yoga routine.

Jill has been phenomenal throughout this entire healing journey and it’s been a breathe of fresh air. I initially started seeing her because my lower back and knee were hurting. She diagnoses the pain within the entire context of my life— factoring in my hobbies, work, travels, historical physical activity, future goals, and also how my nervous system is impacted by stressors and then gives me an action plan to do moving forward! She educates on the body, muscles, nervous system, breathing techniques, and movement to heal. This is very empowering because when something feels a bit off I now know exactly what to do. The space she has created is very comfortable and one of non-judgment and listening. Thank you Jill!

"I was shy and awkward to start a yoga practice, as I was not only a person who had never done yoga, but also I was a person who had not done any exercise more strenuous than walking. Jill expertly and gently helped me to come into my body, and strengthen my core. Having had four children, my body really needed the slow momentum that Jill set me up for, through our six private sessions. Jill has a depth of experience of the body, as well as of people, so she directs her sessions for the individual, supporting us all with what we most need. I would recommend her class for anyone and really look forward to continuing our work together."

Jill is an incredible person to go to. If you're feeling like you really need someone who is going to listen to you along your healing journey, change methods depending on your personal life as well as professional. She'll listen to make sure she's giving you the best work you can do for yourself. I had previous "physical therapy" help that got me "up and moving again", however Jill is here to make sure you can not only be functional, as well as a better version of yourself. She's assisted me in gaining back considerably full movement and confidence in myself in these movements. There's been times i've come in, hard on myself for what i've been doing and her reassurance and care has helped me continue the course. Being able to be honest with her and have her be honest back has been important to my healing journey. And a journey with many struggles it has been. Helping you heal through actually reading more into your body and what might really be the problem, has been an important thing to feel for me. I have been recommending others in my life to her after the first couples of weeks, and i have no doubt you'll understand why if you go to her!

Jill goes ABOVE and beyond what you would typically expect from a physical therapy session. She is incredibly kind, welcoming and so well educated in her field. She listens carefully to your presenting concerns and creates a plan for you. She provided me comprehensive PDFs of movements to work through in my time between sessions. I noticed a greater awareness of my body, better posture and increased strength after my time with her! Highly recommend.

My first session with Jill was completely above and beyond and we went over much more than expected. She customized a specific protocol for me based on my posture, job, and the physical activities I do (climbing). I have been implementing the plan she gave me that address the causes of my issues and notice more strength and better posture after a couple weeks. Jill truly cares about her clients. Highly recommend!

For context, I’ve participated in Jill’s weekly self-care yoga sessions and seen Jill individually for Physical Therapy—for each of these, I logged in remote, via Zoom. The yoga self-care sessions were grounded and deeply restorative… she beautifully integrated yoga, self-reflection, fascia release (which is life-changing!), and deep meditative sessions. Jill skillfully adapted the sessions based on the immediate needs of participants. A group with tight shoulders? She’d modify the flow to target these tight spots and leave us all feeling lighter and freer as we signed off. And the ending meditation always left me feeling rested, restored, and ready for my week. But it was her deep knowledge of body alignment, and her creative adaptations on the mat that convinced me to seek her help in individual PT. I was skeptical we could do this via Zoom, but she absolutely proved me wrong! She helped address lingering hip mobility and strength imbalances (injury and surgery-related), helped construct a personalized plan to rebuild strength and increase range of motion, crafted a yoga flow that was adapted to my mobility limitations, and provided me a foundational set of exercises to return to if my hips started to tighten. She has a deep knowledge of anatomy and movement, is a calm and attentive listener, and is a clear and thoughtful communicator. I saw another review that described Jill as ‘pure love’, and I couldn’t agree more!

I have had 2 total hip replacements. Although the hip surgeries were successful from an orthopedic perspective; I had persistent pain, weakness, and reduced mobility 2 years post surgery. I engaged with Transform Physical Therapy Yoga hoping to regain flexibility and strength; and manage nerve pain in my left thigh. I achieved this and so much more. I participate in 3 TRANSFORM PT and Yoga classes by zoom each week. Jill's classes integrate yoga, strengthening and attention to each participants physical needs. I appreciate how personal and intimate these classes are. Jill can see how I am doing and give me personal feedback in the session. She also makes herself available for individual consultation.

Jill is a gifted teacher and healer. Her top-of-the-line training in physical therapy and yoga is perfectly complimented with her knowledge in nutrition, trauma-healing, gut health, meditation and sports. I started attending yoga classes with Jill a few years back when I lived in Denver. Since then, I moved out of state. and Jill is still supporting me in my journey of connecting with and healing my body - Via online classes. For me, Jill's classes have taught me more about the foundations of yoga, that is, how to properly move my body into a pose so that I receive maximum benefit, than any other yoga class I have attended in 15 years. During class she is 100% tuned into where I could use extra support and education for how I can modify my poses to meet my body where it is at in that day, and not where I "should be." I have internalized so much wisdom from Jill about healing and self-care as a value system above all else. All the while, my flexibility and body awareness has improved tremendously. Her teaching style strikes this perfect balance between teacher/coach - focused on education, training and improvement and close comforting friend - who is a stead fast reminder to love and take care of myself. Last summer I experienced a concussion, and even though I wasn't able to engage in yoga for some time, Jill checked in with me, she sent me calming meditations and write ups about different maneuverers that would support my healing and she made referrals to concussion clinics for me. I know Jill is invested in my well-being and she has tremendous tools in doing so. That is the kind of practitioner you want in your court.

I've taken many yoga classes but never with a teacher who knows her Physical Therapy and her Yoga. I've been with Jill twice a week for the last year on Zoom and Wow! My posture has changed, my shoulders are completely different and strong, and I feel like I understand my body better. I know how far I can go in class without hurting myself. Jill is pure love and I really look forward to her classes.

Jill helped me to get rid of the pan in my hip. She found some misalignment in my hips which happened to be a result of 20 years old trauma. I lived with this trauma without understanding that it caused the pain in the hip, tension in the right foot and, as a result of that tension - a bunion on the toe. I didn’t expect that all of it so interconnected. Jill picked up great set of exercises to help me with my problems. Also, Jill helped me to get much less anxious. I highly recommend Jill!

Transform Physical Therapy & Yoga has been a dream come true for me. A year after having hip replacement surgery, I suddenly developed some significant hip pain. My surgeon confirmed it was a strained IT band and bursitis, a condition he said was quite common and very treatable with PT. Having done regular clinical PT in the past, I knew I wanted something different - something that would tap into my passion for yoga with all the benefits of PT. Well, the planets were in alignment when I did a Google search and found Transform. Working with Jill Getty has not only been delightful but effective. After a comprehensive 90 minute evaluation during which Jill identified problem areas, I began a customized course of therapy that includes traditional PT exercises and yoga poses. During my 75-minute sessions I have Jill’s complete and undivided attention. As a result, I’ve been able to make steady progress in a matter of weeks. In addition, Jill has helped me with concerns I had regarding my shoulder and other hip. I really appreciate her calm and positive approach to her work. She listens intently and has a seemingly unlimited arsenal of strategies and exercises to address any condition or challenge. Her explanations of what we are doing and why are invaluable. Now I have a complete exercise regimen tailored to my needs. I’m working my body smarter and couldn’t be happier. I also want to mention the Transform environment. There is nothing clinical about this space, which is in the back of a yoga studio. The vibe is peaceful, the lighting is soft, there are paper cranes circling the ceiling, and warm wood on the walls. A feeling of calm and relaxation washes over you as you enter (which is important if you’re like me and a little nervous at the onset). I am grateful to have discovered Transform. I can honestly say it has helped me to transform!

Jill Getty was a great help restoring my mobility after two painful injuries to my SI joint and ham string muscle. Both of these injuries were preventing me from getting much needed exercise. After completing three different courses of physical therapy I was looking for someone to help complete the healing and recovery, Jill Getty at Transform Physical Therapy & Yoga filled the bill. Jill took time to examine my movements, determine my limitations and then built a program that allowed me to recover in a pain free manor. Jill's approach with me was gentle stretching, and practical everyday stretches that I can do in the wood shop, the kitchen and when traveling. The end result is fast recovery and better mobility. Young or old if you have a lingering muscle skeletal problem that is impacting your life negatively I would encourage you to contact Jill Getty at TRANSFORM Physical Therapy & Yoga
