An indian restaurant in Salmiya with excellent ambience and professional staff. There is good parking space available infront and hece no difficulty faced on parking the car. Variety of starters available with their delicious signature item Red Pepper Chicken tops the list. We have tasted soups of broccoli, sweet corn chicken and hot and sour chicken, all exceeds the general expectations of taste. There is an exhaustive main course menu with excellent indian, indian chinese, arabic and grilled items. We have tasted the chicken sizzler (an item served with chicken slices juicy and tender tossed in mushroom sauce ), butter chicken, chicken fried rice, butter nan, paneer kulcha etc. The butter chicken and chicken fried rice can challenge for the best available in kuwait. We have ordered dessert of ideal gadbad, gulab jamoon and rasmalai. Ideal gadbad did not meet our expectations but the other two items were tasting the best. Overall rating can be given five stars with an excellent mango lassi..

Good food nice ambience. Nice place to dine out with family and friends. Tried their Hyderabadi chicken and garlic butter nan. The food was delicious and absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended. 👍

Spacious family Indian restaurant with private cabins

Everything that we ordered was superb. The Chicken 95, Keema Paratha & Kofta(veg) the chicken manchow soup, kiwi juice etc... all food items were excellent. The ambience and atmosphere can improve much, and the service a bit more. 4.1 stars

A great place to have Indian food! One of my favourites since I was a child! Their tish tish ‘ chicken sizzling’ dish is my favourite. I absolutely love it and enjoy eating it every time i go! I don’t even try anything else. It’s that good! I went today and It was a but busy since its a weekend, they offer a private ‘ kabena ‘ and a normal table. The staff are very helpful and friendly! I recommend it to everyone , and every time i take any of my friends to try the chicken sizzling they just fall in love with it. If you’re healthy, I don’t recommend you to try it as its full of cheese.

Food is good but the ambience is worst. It is very suffocating in the restaurant, went back after 4 years thinking they must have fixed the issue, still same issue. The kids were not ready to go to this restaurant complaining it is suffocating there. They should have good ventilation and maintain temperature.

It was a good experience, the service was really nice and quick, the food also tasted amazing - though the tomato cream soup felt like there is nothing other than tomato, the ambiance could have been a little better - like i would prefer very little light in the cabin, the background songs could have been just instrumental music on medium to low volume rather than indian classic on almost full volume. Also, the service light button, you can't figure out if it's on or off.

Sizzlers are really good. The mock tails and drinks leave a bit to be desired. Hence the 4 stars, and not 5. The service was excellent.

Beside the slow service , I got my sizzler cold ,sizzling but cold , obviously meats were prepared and refrigerated then added to hot plate , yes diffently food poisening hazard, I ordered lemon juice with mint , I got mint water with an old lemon slice on the glass , they could have said that they were out of lemon , for the toilet which was too close to food preparation counter you just look at the pictures, not only dirty ,no tissues and no toilet paper ,ilooking at the toilet seat it's obvious they don't care Never going there again

It's okay place once in a while. Atmosphere is rustic with furniture that don't fall to scream age. Table rearrangement s could be highly unprofessional during rush hours. If your order is misquoted, don't be surprised. They will happily replace.

It's a good place for Indians missing indian taste in Kuwait.The ambience is also good and the food was quality and taste is good.

Family cabins are available. When we (family of 5) visited, there was a party going on outside the cabins and they were laughing aloud and were extremely noisy. Complained about this to the manager, but he was helpless. Food has authentic taste and is fairly priced.

Definitely value for money, food is good. Service yet to be improved, server attention was poor.( look like the shift was under staff) Atmosphere just ok, some opportunities to improve on safety and hygiene in general.(table cloths, shakes table / chairs )

The food taste is amazing, you can feel the flavours of Indian spices which was so deliousus. Service is high standard and you can feel at home, where all team smile and offer support. I recommend Oriental restaurant to all of my friends 😍

It's such a shame for a popular restaurant letting the customers walk out only due to the defective air conditioner. Would have emptied a box of tissue or more if been seated.

Fridays are busy days. The service is low. No extra ordinary food. Their sizzlers are better than others.

Horrible staff with no manners. I had ordered chk sizzler and chk was raw...i had asked for replacement. So thy jus got me 2 pcs of chk instead of replacing the dish. Instead of been apologetic...thy had been very rude. Called for manager but he dint show up nor any apologies recieved. Really disappointing 😞

I am Fathima Al Naser, I came with my family on a special occasion for dinner, and I immediately need a response from the restaurant on why the service is this bad. Very biased behavior. Firstly when we entered, we requested for a cabin and the waiter rudely said the cabins were full. However, a few seconds later when another customer requested for a cabin, the waiter very politely accepted the customer. It amuses me how shamelessly they show biased behavior, fully aware that we are noticing it. Secondly, when asked about any dish, the waiters give a very vague or no explanation at all. Hate the service, will make sure to not come here until I have proof the service has improved. Does this restaurant not want customers??? Totally ruined my day and experience. Will recommend all the people I know to not visit this restaurant.

Gone to Oriental after a long time and was welcomed with warm and welcoming team. Food we order was extremely good and the service was equally good. Order was severed fast and yes the restaurant was working at full capacity. Lovely experience again.

Chicken Sizzler was more of french fries and less of chicken and that to taste like chicken not washed and cooked properly. Not satisfied,price vs item..

Good food but tables were too close to each other, too much of noise when we visited last time, had to take a cabin to reduce the noise pollution..other good food and service from the staff.

As always Oriental never disappoints. Ordered Dynamite sizzler and Hara bhara kabab. Both the dishes were amazing. They have private cabins for seating too. The staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Quality justifies the price. I have been to this place before and will definitely visit again. Recommended place.

Good food. Expect delay in service over the weekends, due to the rush. Personally I found Oriental in City is better in terms of taste compared to their Salmiya Branch.
