We have been to the restaurant only, and our experience was amazing. The view is beautiful, the friendliness of the staff definitely leaves a beautiful memory. As for the food, everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Manakeesh were amazing, falafel were super crunchy and fresh. The whole experience is something I will definitely do again and highly recommend. One can also ask the staff for information about the city and it's history, there's also the possibility to buy some hand made Jordanian products from Jordanian artists. This place should really be part of ones visit when heading to Al-Salt City.

Tasty food, but very small portions. The service is very slow and whenever we order something they say change the order because these orders take time!! Like they don't want to serve! We asked for homus they said it takes time!! What the hell!!! Dead staff barely walking and frowning all the time. If you are hungry and want to get your food quickly. Definitely don't go there! Yet the food is very tasty.

Beautiful spot for breakfast/lunch/brunch, staff was really friendly and helpful. Every single dish we ordered tasted amazing. I’d recommend their mashed potatoes and mango juice. Very budget friendly.

I was very excited to try this restaurant after being recommended by my local friends.. however, I was extremely disappointed by the slow service and the unprofessional staff .. we waited for one and half hours!!! and left eventually without having being served anything (not even drinks or appetizers) !!! Wouldn’t recommend it - you’d be wasting your time ! Haven’t experienced a worst service than the one I experienced in this restaurant today.

A must go when visiting Salt, we went without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us. Food was good although it took a long time to be served. But for the price and views it’s definitely worth it.

Poor experience, the building is nice with a cute story and view, but the food is blatantly disappointing. we ordered two chicken dishes and shrimp; first, the portions are extremely small, food is cold and poorly seasoned, and the chicken was stiff and dry, and the shrimps salty. also, the plating was poor and distasteful. Overall, overpriced for such poor experience, not recommended at all.

Fantastic place, very lovely views across the mountain. Very scenic, the food was absolutely delicious. I let the owner put on a selection of Jordanian food and I was left speechless. A must go to place if you are ever in the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience and your exceptional Jordanian hospitality.

Great delicious food, fresh from local produce. We had breakfast, we love the variety in the menu all dishes we tried were great & fresh. Service was excellent and on time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a short brief about the location & history of the area and best places to visit in town. Thank you!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meals in beit Aziz. I had a 4 course meal, with 2 salad ,Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want to expereince the traditional food in jordan and enjoy the view of the old city, very good service and the only thing i didn’t like the high stairs which is hard for old people to take.

Beautiful authentic Salt house. Food was tasty. Service was good. We visited on Friday morning without booking, we had to wait for a table for a while, make sure to book a table before you come.

We had booked a double room, bed linen was not fresh. Despite complaints and promises to change it, it was still not changed when we returned in the evening. After another complaint, the sheets were changed, but there was no fresh duvet cover availible. Then stepped on a piece of glass in the bathroom at night. At night there was also a lot of noise and laughter from the staff at the reception who had been watching videos for at least till 2 a.m. the morning

The food is just delicious. The location perfect up in the hills looking at the gorgeous old buildings of salt. For someone who wants to experience the traditional ways it is a great place.

It was one of the best restaurants I've been to ever. Good food, very clean, fresh air, Neighborhood looks a little old and rough but once you realize the history for that place and when was it built and what it used to be back in the days you'll know that this place has been in business for 140 years. Tourist friendly and a recommended history in the place history in the food no other restaurants can beat the experience they will give you.

I had an overnight stay at this hotel/restaurant. Comfortable beds and room. The old house looks great and the restaurant terrace is just amazing! No need to bypass As-Salt anymore; just stay here for the night :) Food was well-prepared. Just sit, relax and watch the view. Oh btw, staff is very friendly too!

Very friendly reception. The owner selected a number of dishes for us based on our wish to have more vegetables than meat. Delicious food! Beautiful view over the city.

Getting to the place is generally not easy. If you have limited exercise tolerance , you should know that you have to climb stairs that may be tiring and there are no elevators. Clean place and cheerful and welcoming staff. The food is very delicious. You should also not be in a hurry, or avoid going on weekends because the service is very slow. My order took 70 minutes to be served.

Too over rated! If your planning to go enjoy the view and have a cup of coffee its a nice place to do so. The food is not that good and the servers are not professional.

Very good and nice historical place, I really like and enjoy the traditional places ,also the platters were delicious traditional food, such like egg, hummus, manaqish, white cheese, also very welcoming staff, and friendly. I enjoyed the view, I recommended the place especially for breakfast early morning.

Positives- not crowded even on a Friday. Nice view. Seats are comfortable. Negatives- table: dirty (i used a tissue and hand sanitizer to clean it- turned out black), menu: filthy, argileh: water hasn't been cleaned since God knows when. Tried a salad- would not recommend the food. Tried a strawberry juice- made from frozen strawberries and tasted horrible. To summarize- try it if you want something new and passing in the area. Go for a tea or coffee. Staff was nice but slow, which was weird since there were only 2 tables at the time.

It is good place to visit once and for traditional breakfast. Food is OK for quality and price for Salt Breakfast combo which is for 2 but nothing special in general..bread which was supposed to be prepared by order in the traditional oven was given cold.. Service is a bit slow..but the staff are really friendly and nice.. The view is beautiful towards alot of scenery of the old town.. Where you can see historical mosques and churches existed for more than 120 years.. Seating area is limited and there is no "Smoking Free" Area..no kids zone.. And the stairs to be used with care as they are slippery.. Not accessible for wheelchair.. Parking is on main road next to it.. The building is amazing and well preserved but could be handled better for attraction

The place is quite hidden, but its there. Staff and owner were very welcoming. Good evening spot to watch the football and have shisha. Varied food menu. Fattouch was delicious, one of the best I've had. Kuftah in tahani sauce was nice and creamy, almost a cheesy texture. The breakfast is supposed be to famous

Nice restaurant in a beautiful heritage building, great balcony with a nice view on the old town. Service was nice and food was excellent, with fresh manaquish making the place smell wonderful.

If you find yourself in the enchanting UNESCO Heritage town of As Salt in Jordan and you're on the hunt for authentic, mouthwatering, and creatively prepared food, look no further than Beit Aziz. From the moment you step inside this charming small guest house restaurant, you'll be greeted with warmth and exceptional service. The owner, who is not only the heart and soul of this place but also the most communicative and kind host you could hope for, will make you feel like you're dining in a friend's home. One of the standout features of Beit Aziz is the owner's uncanny ability to recommend dishes that perfectly cater to your tastes. Whether you're an adventurous foodie or a picky eater, they will guide you to a culinary masterpiece that will leave your taste buds dancing with delight. The food at Beit Aziz is a true testament to Jordanian cuisine, prepared with love and a creative flair that elevates every bite. The flavors are a symphony of authenticity, taking you on a culinary journey through Jordan's rich culinary heritage. I can't say enough about the exceptional experience I had at Beit Aziz. It's more than just a restaurant; it's a cultural and gastronomic adventure. So, don't hesitate—make Beit Aziz your first choice when dining in As Salt. You won't be disappointed, and you'll leave with not only a satisfied stomach but also a heart full of gratitude for the wonderful people behind this gem of a place.
