Great place to go with family and friends around the clock. There is space to sit at throughout the entire premise. It’s great to see all types of Israeli cultures come together and have a good time in one place. Not only every culture, but every age group, too. Great vibes, full of beauty. You can go to eat, shop, or rent bikes and the like. Even just sitting around is a pleasant experience here. The first station is near to the Church of Flagellation, Mary's birthplace and the prison where Jesus and Barnabas were held prior to crucifixion. Very interesting area. There are many narrow slippery stone stairs down to these places the lighting is bad so would not recommend if you have trouble walking.

Really cool place to go Saturday night. Nice entertainment, not overly crowded but busy. Good restaurants and bars. The decor aligns with the historic railroad station. Some of the basic necessities can use an upgrade (like the restrooms), but overall it was nice date night.

Great place to go with family and friends around the clock. There is space to sit at throughout the entire premise. To my delight, on sabbath when things are typically close, the first station is full of life, and allows.all religion sectors to enjoy the space.

If you want to feel the vibe of Israel. The normal life, families just having fun, eating a bite, letting the kids run around, carusell, sometimes music... Than it is a place to see. Street foot and also Restaurants are there. It is the old Trainstation from Jerusalem. Find the signs who tell you about its history. (Near the old building) The plastic tents are here because Corona. So each Familie, group, couple has its own place. And one day also Corona is over! 🙂 And be happy from Jaffa (Tel Aviv) to Jerusalem it doesn't need anymore 6 hours. Well it was faster than on a donkey. Today you have a fast train and arrive in Jerusalem in one of the 5 deepest Trainstation in the world. But the modern station is somewhere else. Have fun!

I visit most years, a lovely place to go with your family for an evening, it seems to be getting to an age where a little TLC will do it some good. But there are lots of food choices and sometimes there are activities to join in and watch too.

The Jerusalem railway station is a historic railway station in Jerusalem, Israel, located between Hebron Road and Bethlehem Road, near the German Colony. It was part of the Jaffa–Jerusalem railway until its closure in 1998. When it was in operation it was also known as the Khan station for the old caravanserai building, now the Khan Theater, located across the road.

Excellent area to explore restaurants and grab a drink. They have a covered stage area surrounded by restaurants and stands selling a wide range of foods and drinks.

Went there to ice skate and go for a small dinner. It was crowded but manageable. We were able to get a spot quickly, ordered some food and went to the Citadel after the heavy rain. It's nice to see all the shops and restaurants all located in the former first train station. Also, being able to walk around when no cars present was enjoyable.

Great...great food! Wonderful how they took her train station from 50 to 100 years ago and made it into an entertainment center.

Always enjoy going to the First Station, with shops and restaurants and events - it’s never dull! Especially great opportunity during the holidays when the crowds bring more unique vendors and activities to the locale There’s a wide variety of kosher restaurants and establishments with Dairy and Meat offerings from Burgers Beer & Fries to Fish and Fettuccine! Cute activities for families and kids like a train and carnival. There’s also a jumping / trampoline gym right at the edge as well as bikes for rent and tours! Great place to visit

We have been to First Station twice this week, once for dinner at the Kosher Kitchen bar and once for lunch at a great place with beef shawarma on hummus. I love the vibe here.

Kids loved the rise and the show, and it looks like it's a great place for adults in the evening too.

Wonderful, vibrant place to come with family. Great food and drinks, and even the Carousel 🎠 was running on weekend. Lovely place to hang out and dance with the music. Really nice design with the train tracks. Highly recommended, will visit again.

Love the vibe of this place! Can't give 5 stars because of the bathroom situation. Just horrendous, dirty, no soap, dryer not working. Men and women together, it's a embarrassing situation for a place ment for tourists.

Food was succulent, tasty, well presented and filling. The service was a bit lacking (needing to be reminded many times to bring condiments with the contents inside the grinder), but did not overly detract from our enjoyment of the meal.

Great atmosphere, relaxed with many fast food options. You get a bit of history of the first train station, although you need to search for it as the commercial places are hiding most of it. Planty of city parking around

Loud, dirty and obnoxious, but diverse. It’s great to see all types of Israeli cultures come together and have a good time in one place. Not only every culture, but every age group, too. The low rating is because the place is dirty and unkempt. They should have someone sweep the place everybody hour. The food here is surprisingly expensive: 6 dim sum dumplings for ₪38 (about $12, June 2022). And they are the frozen kind. The coffee at Akhmizan, though, is terrific! The barista is friendly, experienced and cares about coffee. The bathroom situation is atrocious! They don’t have proper circulation, and are either missing toilet paper, soap or both. The stench is horrendous. I tried desperately not to touch anything. Other than drinking beer, there are no adult entertainment or activities. Otherwise, it’s a nice place to meet someone and go for a walk along the old train tracks.

Great place to spend the day with the family. Activities for kids. Delicious food. Don't get ripped off by some of the vendors though. They'll sell you a shoelace for the price of a Ferrari.

Beautiful transformation of the old railroad station into a fun complex with stage for shows and music, coffee shops, middle eastern food stalls and luna park games for children. Easy access and clouds to many other attractions.

We went to Captain Burger, where the burgers were very good. On the promenade there was music playing and couples dancing. There are private seating areas to sit in, scan a qr code and order from one of several restaurants. There are some shops that are open late with jewelry and giftware. There is a coffee kiosk, an amazing looking dessert kiosk with mini pancakes. There are tables set up with beautiful artwork done on rocks, which can be customized. Such a fun evening out.

This is an exciting beautiful old train station that has been transformed into an open air market of wonderful wares, jewelry, scarves, purses and many beautiful gift items. They also hold the space for musical performers . Gathering around all the excitement are many wonderful food venders to delight you with meals, snacks and treats ! Some are wearing masks while others may not ,but all around a warm feeling of celebration for our upcoming New Year is strongly present.

Definitely a place to worth checking out if you're visiting Jerusalem. There are multiple restaurants, food stands and gift shops here. It is one of the only places that are open during the Sabbath and Jewish holidays in Jerusalem. We had excellent Mediterranean food in one of the restaurants and enjoyed some ice cream at Golda afterwards.
