The hot cascade worth the visit. The pool was too hot, impossible to stay more than 10 minutes, and the other in spa, you need to pay to use that beautiful pool with cascade… the hotel is old, the service at pool should improve. They should clean better the pool. The food is great!

The only thing open was the falls when we went. The falls are actually pretty cool and when I say pretty cool I mean very hot. Can anyone explain how the waterfalls are hot? Don’t expect fancy here. It’s just a relaxed local stop. We didn’t see any other tourists here. The bathrooms looked nice at one time but they smelled awful. Make sure to climb to the cave at the top. The water is so hot you can’t put your feet in it. You can also lay over the edge and get a back rub from the falling water. Bring some lite snacks. Also there are no lockers when we went.

I can’t stop recommending this place for everyone around me, it’s really a heaven on earth. You will lose yourself in the moment here and forget all your problems. The hot water will make you relaxed and you will be amazed by the beautiful nature. The best place I visited in Jordan.

Beautiful views of waterfalls, multiple pools, and massage rooms made this a great place to visit. I recommend visiting during cooler months to enjoy the hot spring pool. It was too hot during my summer visit. It was a little more walking than I expected, but I would definitely recommend this for a relaxing getaway.

No need to pay 15 JOD entrance fee, just drive a few hundred meters past the resort and park your car on the bridge (usually a few cars park in that spot) Walk down the hill on a dust road and follow the stream for about 10 minutes, pass the tube, a few meters past the tube there is a nice spot where two streams come together (one rather hot, the other one slightly colder). You can bathe there, you won't be seen by others either as not many people go there. Enjoy!

Great thermal cascade and pool. Definitely worth the drive to relax at the end of the day. Entry 15 JOD permits you entrance to 2 pools, while the largest is reserved for the guests of the hotel.

Went to the main public spring. Warning - does not look like the google pics. Much more run down. Still a worthwhile experience but not quite as expected. Not sure if you can get day access to the hotel nearby but if so, that would be by far the better option.

Best experience ever!! The water is hit and therapeutic, going under d falls was a much needed deep tissue massage i felt like sleeping afterwards as i was fully relaxed! Its only 15dinars to access the waterfalls! The beauty will leave u blown away and the overall experience its very therapeutic.

Avoid during summer as the water is way too hot to enjoy. We ended up leaving after maybe 15min as each of the three pools available to use was really hot and unbearable (we visited in August). On top of that the place is really ran down and everything looks quite dirty and off-putting. By the price you pay to enter (15jd) it feels like a scam.

The hotel has a unique location (although we thought that it's next to the Dead sea) but in my opinion it's not worth the money. The check-in & out process was way to slow, room was okay, but the facilities look a little outdated and we couldn't walk to the thermal spring area because it was closed.

Accidentally stumbled upon this place trying to find the Dead Sea beaches. Waterfall was nice but extremely hot in some places to where you can’t even get in it. Giving it 3 stars because like everyone else said the entire place could use a deep clean and/or renovation. Everything was super outdated. I know they’re making big bucks off tourists so it needs to go into restoring the place.

A wonderful place to loose about one hour, you have three waterfalls with hot thermal water. The hottest is around 60^C, the tallest is the most spectacular and behind it there is a small natural wet sauna.

Super clean Hot Springs from the natural waterfall and beautiful scenery! Loved the fact they also had a separate ladies waterfall for women only. Beautiful and would recommend a visit for sure!

This place is Magical to say the least, first of all to get to it you will get to the lowest point on earth earth then go back up in some of the curviest roads ever , water view is amazing on the way. The hotel itself has great charm to it and the decor is very much a middle eastern one. It’s dated a bit but really it’s not that big of a deal. We had a small issue with the Bath room and they fixed it right away. The hotel is situated right on the hot springs and they have 2 pools. One that is fed from the hot water and another one that is filled with normal water. The garden area is beautiful too and it’s pretty walkable. The hot water is unbelievable, you feel so relaxed after taking a dip in the water, my kids had aczema and this water cured it entirely. The little known secret is that you can also go to the area which is outside of the hotel premises and use the hot water fall in there. That one has a cave that encompasses a sauna and you will reap all the benefits from that steam. The water there is extremely hot you can’t step your foot in it. We had an amazing stay here and we highly recommend it.

Love this place! Hot springs are really hot, they have toilets and changing rooms, restaurant - I could spend the whole day here. Instead I spent few hours in the evening, when I finished other sightseeing. I recomend coming there before night, because road headed to Ma'in Springs is amazing!

The road to get there is tricky but it's worth it. You have to pay to enter if you are not staying in the Spa Hotel, per person. There are 3 waterfalls, but when we go in end of october 2022, only 2 were active: one small (the first one when you access) is the hottest one, around 60°C. Hot! The one were dry and the last one is the best, perfect temperature. There is a car parking, bathrooms and changing room (fairly clean but not the best). You have to bring your own towels.

A natural hot spring at the bottom of the valley. The water is actually very hot and depending on where you are you could actually burn yourself. The biggest fall at the end is suitable to stay in the water. I would spend at least two hours here if you want to fully enjoy it. Changing room and parking available. $15JD PP for the public spring entrance is suffice. If you want to pay a little more for the resort with food that nobody goes to that’s up to you.

What a natural beauty! Perfect place to relax. I’m so glad we made a stop here. The drive to the hot springs was a bit crazy but definitely worth it. The sauna was the best in the cave. Best way to experience is to lay on the rocks under the waterfall and let the hot water do the rest. The only downside is that, there were a people bathing with soap and shampoo in the water, which ruins the experience. I’m not interested in sitting or soaking someone’s soap water. There was staff telling people not to use soap but they were not strictly enforcing it. I paid money to sit in a natural hot spring. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon, else it’s a mess.

Beautiful location with exquisite interior design and very friendly service located in the mountains. Hot springs accessible 24h and free - best to come in the very morning (6-9am) or in the evenings (>8pm) to have it all for oneself. Also, great breakfast served on a beautiful terrace facing the waterfall. Unfortunately, a bit run down, spa with additional costs (18 JD) and a la cart poor & costy selection in my view.

They have a number of pools which have multiple areas for getting under the water of the falling hot spring. They even have a place just for ladies. The changing facilities are available although a little run down. I wish people wouldn’t smoke in the pools but smoking is a common vice in this part of the world.

You can reach Main Hot Springs from Amman via Madaba or by taking a Dead Sea road. In any case it will take about an hour and a half (43% of battery charge round trip if you are driving a Tesla). There is a public area which costs 10 JD per person to enter (half price for kids) but you need to bring your own towels and food and it's very small, packed with locals. The other option is to access hot springs pool at the hotel with entry fee 25 JD per person (half price for kids) with towels included. There is a changing room, shower facilities and a restaurant / bar. The pool is bigger and it has a nice view on a natural waterfall. Unfortunately there are no hiking trails available so the only thing to do, if you are staying overnight at the hotel, is to soak at the hot waters of the pool. There is also a SPA nearby but it was closed due to COVID 19 at the time of writing. The bottom line, it is a nice experience to come for a day, do not recommend a longer stay as there are no activities and not much to do. There is no charger for your electrical car like those offered at the Dead Sea hotels.

I can't say enough how much I loved it here. The waterfall is simply amazing: the water is hot and you can lay on the stone wall beneath it for the perfect catharsis. It's one hour from Amman and you can return via the Dead Sea road for a nice drive. It was 15 jd for me and 10 jd for my Arab national companion.

Beautiful waterfall, but everything else is pretty bad: the facilities, their hygiene, the design, the price. I would have happily paid 3 JOD for the view and hot shower, it definitely wasn’t worth 15 JOD (for foreigners). I gladly left again after around 15 minutes there. Therefore, the hot springs are wasted tourism potential unfortunately: the facilities surrounding them don’t need to be renovated, they need to be destroyed and properly rebuilt.

  • 5/5 Jabir P. 5 months ago on Google
Highly recommend visiting the Ma'in Hot Springs if you want to experience jaw dropping natural beauty in a calm peaceful atmosphere. We drove 40 mins from the dead sea area through the mountains which was amazing, and arrived at the hot springs. Mostly locals who are very friendly and welcoming - respectful / appropriate dressing is advised, mixed facilities but mostly males. I don't think they provide towels so make sure you bring - entry cost is 15 Jordanian Dinar pp for tourists.

Its not quite for tourists, because there were ONLY arabic people, you cannot go into the spring because its all occupied by locals. If you dont have hotel reservation, you need to pay entrance fee 15 jod per person. Quite expensive just to see locals occuping the spring that is SO hot between 40-60 degrees:)

I recommend it to anyone. Worth every penny but there are some disappointments that makes it a 3/5 rather than 4.5 which it should be. It is clearly a 5 stars hotel but it needs some renovations that are mandatory to keep the experience at its best. The hot water at the swimming pool is really amazing and the view of the waterfall is incredible. The water is clear and clean but the pool needs to be much cleaner in order to live the best experience. And the changing rooms needs renovations. The room is really spacious, clean and luxurious. And the restaurant is very good. For me, Room overall: 5/5 Swimming pool cleanness: 2.5/5 Changing rooms: 0/5 Food: 5/5 Experience: 4.5/5 Staff: 5/5 Disclaimer: I do not recommend the day pass since it gives you access to a very crowded pools that don’t look clean. I appreciate that the day pass doesn’t give you access to the main swimming pool which makes it less crowded and more relaxing. Note: The hotel doesn’t have too much activities. I recommend it for someone who just wants to relax and chill in a the hot water with a really nice waterfall view.

There's a small shack where you can get changed. Recommended only for the adventurous and those on a budget. Initially we were told it's 6...
