The lamb chops with its assortment was excellent for its tenderness and complete meal good to share. The buffaloes wings was spicy and complimented the drink well as expected. The winner was the beer pitcher which was uniquely served with glass with salt tipped alike tequila shots and a bit of lime juice. It was unique and excellent giving a new taste to the beer. Lovely and attentive service made the meal and drink enjoyable. Finished with brownie as desert of the day. Good for two.

The cuisine had a mix of Italian, Mediterranean, Jordanian and American theme dishes. The a artichoke dip was loved by all and you would be a fool to not try the lamb chops which were served with a mix of seasoned red onions. Every dish served exceeded expectations and the service and prices were just as amazing. Be sure to be seated on the top floor with the view to the city. The food, service and view made for an amazing meal experience.

A good place to choose books and eat with children. It was the most delicious omelet I've ever eaten in this country. A good place to have a family brunch on a weekend morning.

Original Books@Cafe, our youth hangout. You’re no longer greeted by the book shop, rather an art gallery, then you walk up to the Cafe. I have to admit they have the best views, especially the top deck. We had hot chocolate (oddly light and milk free) tasty enough. We didn’t try the food so cannot say how good, they do have a bar and serve alcoholic drinks. They also have Shishah. Great hangout place , nice feel.

Rainbow Street branch... There weren't non-smoking and non-drinking spaces. Some people might not feel OK being in such mess. It is important to be inclusive to different cultures. The restaurant have the full right to do whatever they think will work. Nevertheless, they need to accept feedback nit trying to hide the truth. I wouldn't go again.

The drinks blend was amazing and the brownies and pistachio cake were next level. Sitting by the bar of the rooftop with the city lights view at night was breathtaking. The stuff is so nice and friendly. A place not to miss

Such a good spot to look at some art, buy/read a book (or two) and eat/drink. Housed over two floors, with the cafe and bookstore occupying the top floor. Had a drink there and soak up the amazing views from the terrace.

Nice place but for me that dish was a disappointment Chicken curry No taste, chicken was not evenly cooked, and there was potato cubs that didn’t go well with chicken of course it had a bad old taste of boiled potatoes, the green curry sauce wasn’t fresh at all i think it’s from a can or those pre made sauce gallons that should be served in junk food places not in such a place.. I hope they make sure to serve food with more quality and fresh ingredients.

Very lovely place, the have few main courses (espicially chicken) but the raste and the serving is great. When I come to this restaurant I must order the Spanish Salad, i have tasted in may places but here is the best. The prices are reasonable comparing to other places who ask for much more. The place has books also, where you can ready or buy. It has outdoor and indoor tables. I hope they will keep their quality and service.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks with fellow tourists. Nice little bar with bookshop and art gallery attached. Nice music. Staff really nice and helpful. Music good. Outside area meant minimal smoke. Serving alcohol during Ramadan. Great view of the city. Recommended for people who like something a bit arty and are visiting Jordan.

My favorite coffee spot in Amman. I recommend their fresh lemon mint juice and the chicken thai curry. They also have a great selection of books in their library and the views are amazing.

Me and my party ordered 3 desserts, 2 coffee and 2 juice. I would never order those desserts again. The cheesecake was rubbery, the lemon cake was literally stale and hard as a rock, the brownies were good for people who like extra fudgy and thick ones. The coffee was OK but the juice was good. However I will say the view was so worth it and the vibes were nice. My friend ordered shisha and she said it was really good, so if you're if you wanna go order that and like a coffee or juice.

Such a stylish and not so little place! The inside is colourful and beautiful, the terrace has great views. Don't miss the uppermost terrace for more amazing views! The coffee is good, the beer cold, the staff pleasant, the toilets clean. Go for it, if you are in the area!

This place doesn't need an introduction, whether you're visiting or living in Jordan. I had the pleasure of coming to the fabulous books@cafe for the first time today with my beloved family fur member Lia the Samoyed dog, and there aren't enough words of praise to describe the way the staff made us feel. We were made to feel as welcome guests at the restaurant, catered to by exceptionally professional, kind, catering, dog friendly, compassionate, generous, even LOVING staff members. I thank you on behalf of myself and Lia, and look forward to visiting again. Stay wonderful- not that you need a reminder. Kudos and respect to this mini community.

It's a wonderful oasis both for locals and tourists. Spent a few hours there during my short trip to Jordan and enjoyed everything from the design and ambience to the food and service provided by the staff. I can only recommend this place and want to particularly commend and praise the two staff members who took care of me that evening, Yazan and Ahmad. Compliments also to Mazhar for creating and running this place in a way that it feels like a home away from home!

It is refreshing to visit a place after so many years, and find thst it has improved! A lovely atmosphere on a Friday, was not very busy around 10:30 am, for everyone, couples, families and individuals. We ordered the breakfast combo, eggs any style, manoosha, pancakes or french toast with coffee or orange juice. We also ordered pancakes aside fluffy three stack delicious! Coffee is refill! You might wait a bit for food. The gallery and shop at the entrance has many interesting local art and gifts, give it a look.

Ideal place for book lovers and those looking to unwind. The entrance is a lovely retro style bookstore that leads to the cafe. They have smoking and non smoking areas and several seating options to choose from. Wonderful service as well. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Amman.

Fantastic location with views across Amman and a good place to enjoy the sunset. Their bookshop has a great selection of books - including English language - and all at reasonable prices. The staff were extremely friendly, so much so I came here both nights of my stay in the city. For some extra special culture there is a gallery space on the ground floor which during my visit had a fantastic photography exhibition from a local artist showing the juxtaposition of humans against the environment which I personally found really interesting subject matter. As a vegetarian I often struggle with food options however the staff were extremely accommodating and recommended dishes suitable for me. I opted for the vegetarian pizza (6 JOD June 2023) which was absolutely delicious and nicer than many I'd eaten in Italy! Highly recommended. Was pleased to discover after a baking hot day of hiking they also serve local Petra beer cool and whilst expensive like everywhere in Jordan, is a great beer and the perfect accompaniment to my meal. There was a genuine mistake on my bill, I queried this and unlike other places that are trying to rip off tourists they were extremely apologetic and corrected the bill without any hassle. This was a welcome change to some other places around Amman tourist areas. I really enjoyed my visit here and should I return to Amman I will definitely come here or to one of their other branches in the city. Thank you to the whole team!!!

So I'm reviewing this place in terms of it being a bookshop and a queer friendly space. As a bookshop, it's wonderful. You can order books from there and they arrive, in near-perfect condition, within 2-3 weeks. As a space, it's one of the few bright spots of true coziness and safety in the city of Amman. In those terms, I love it, and I've bought - since 2009 - literally hundreds of books from there.

The atmosphere here is so amazing with cozy vibes. They really treat you as a family member. Their breakfast is delicious with wide variety of options including traditional and western cuisine. You can spend the whole day here without getting bored. Plus, there is a good gallery in the ground floor.

Lovely quiet street. I went late around midnight and there were only two other customers so it was easy to get quick service. The bar/restaurant is huge on the upper floor away from the bookstore downstairs. Thr was no real ambiance due to staff tidying up and cleaning around me. The staff were very pleasant and where I sat I could take beautiful pictures of the sky at night.
