Hawari Shar Park is one of the largest parks in the Middle East. and Iraq or we can say the largest park .. very pleasant very beautiful. There are many trees (many beautiful flowers and various kinds). The water and air are very clean.

The park is located at Hawar shar area around 15-20 min. drive from city . It is the largest park in Sulaymaniah consist of 4400 acres land. There are many attractions for recreational activities including visiting of artificial fountain lake , bicycling arena , skateboarding club and particularly Romanian amphitheater. There are other many activities listed on the park map board but in fact doesn’t exist e.g Golfing . A recommended place for family visit , a club car can be hired to avoid exhausting with long walk. It is A beautiful large green park over an area of more than 1000 acre. Close to Slemani city. Family friendly area. Good to have a walk around.

A good place for family picnic inside the city, its also a good choice for jogging, cycling and walking you have opportunity to park your car close. Another good thing about this park it has a clean and cool atmosphere even in summer
