For someone who hasn't seen western Australia this can be an option. Actually, I expected more when I took the tour. The bus needs some upgrading in my opinion. The sound system definitely needs improvement since one can hardly understand what is being said on the P.A. Not enough information that would have made the tour enjoyable. As we travel the annotation of the speaker missed most of the place being referred to in the broadcast. Except for the friendly operator, everything else needs improvement.

We had a fantastic time, and absolutely loved Kev the Kangaroo's commentary. Jacques (who just happened to be our driver each time we hopped back on) was very friendly, and I loved the fact that he offered everyone on the top deck sunscreen. :) And the family pass was value for money. I will certainly recommend this for a great school holiday outing.

Coming from Perth the tour gave me a real appreciation for the city was informative and great value for money .

Very informative and good price. The only regret is the time distance between pick-ups. 2 hours between doesn't allow to get off and see many attractions in one day. 2 buses on route would be good.

Rode the Perth tourist bus mainly for the novelty to take my toddler son on an open top double decker bus while his sisters were watching the ballet. The day price for an adult was $20 and he was free. You can get on and off as many times you like but the bus only comes every hour, so you need to really schedule the stops so you don't miss them. We used it twice no issues and were the only onces on it an they have two buses in circulation at the time. I found that at stops the bus can be up to 5 minutes late. Free headphones were provided and I found the audio guide quite informative. Overall a good experience.

The ride was ok but the volume headphone is low and hard to hear especially sitting on the open top bus with noisy surroundings. I’m going to raise an issue about my purchased hop off-on bus ticket for 2A and 3C on 30 sept 2023. This situation has negatively affected our family’s holiday mood throughout the bus journey to our destination at Perth Mint. Together with my family members, we boarded the bus (Plate Number : Hop On 1) at about 3pm at the tower bell location. As my children boarded the bus, my son took 5 earpieces for our family and put it into his bag. Instantly, the bus driver stopped my son, questioned his actions and accused him of stealing. Despite my son explaining he’s travelling with a family of 5, the bus driver was sceptical. The bus driver’s tone mellowed down after my husband boarded the bus and showed him the 5 tickets. After that my son was greatly affected by the accusations. The above reflects a lot of the organisation’s vision and bus driver’s training. Thank you,

Fabulous tour of Perth, and interesting audio

A good way to see Perth and hear about the history. Enjoyed sitting on the top deck on a pleasantly sunny day. Loved Kings Park. I would like to have had seatbelts though.

Enjoyed the commentry. It was informative. A lack of clear directions on times and pickups was felt by us. Fortunately, we didn't get off as we would have missed connecting criise to freo.

Pretty standard HoHo bus. Only one route and a bus every hour, so a long wait if you get off for a short visit at one of the stops. Only one of the two buses in service during our visit had a covering upstairs - a must if it’s a hot day. A good service and the busses were clean and well presented.

Definitely a must when visiting Perth. It takes you to amazing stops and gives you a great overview of the city. I would have liked more information about some sights and certain places but overall a great experience and an easy way to get around!

Finally a great bus tour again! After being disappointed in most other city's this bus tour really is nice. Great and funny information of the system in various languages and a Greg was an amazingly nice driver! The tour gives you a perfect overview over the city. Definitely recommend.

I try to start every new city with a Hop On Hop Off tour to help me get my bearings. This tour was interesting and well rounded. It did not disappoint!

Great value, helpful driver. Can stop and start again at locations. Free headsets and suncream. Commentary on iconic parts of Perth. You learn a lot even if you born and bred here. Under 10 yrs of age may become bored if they are to remain seated for the duration. Shopping, dining, architecture, environmental and sporting info included. Add one available also.

We enjoyed this tour a lot. Would highly recommend. Set of disposable headphones means you can get a commentary in the language of your choice by choosing the relevant channel. There is even a channel for children!

My grandson saw the colourful pamphlet so keen to sit on top of the bus! Booked online easily with specials offered so took the tours of the Bell Tower and Perth Mint. A WONDERFUL day the 5 year old loved it and answered questions about gold. Had a go at bell ringing. Excellent customer service from booking online to the drivers. Water on board to purchase cheaper than elsewhere and headphones for commentary. And the Nanna enjoyed it more than I expected. Excellent value for a full days outing. Will do this again in the school holidays. Nanna

Quite good tour through the city. Only runs every hour. Best value is to have time to go two days. Tour of Optus Stadium does not connect with the next bus an hour later. Tour takes over an hour.

This was a nice ride around the city and sites. It takes about two hours and gives an overview. It was nice to just ride the bus. You don't have to get off if you don't want. Good way to get oriented to the city.

The driver we had was incredibly helpful, friendly and made the tour quite memorable. The information given around the trip gave us a great insight into the city. Highly recommend!
