This mosque traces back to some centuries ago, when Sidayu was a separate regency inside Mataram kingdom. The original building is still well preserved and has been expanded on the front side. This complex also has a cemetery for the regents of Sidayu, located at the back side. It can be very crowded during Friday market, flooded by pilgrims from the nearby districts. The male toilets are very clean, and so is the tap water. Some small ponds for cleaning your feet are available.

The biggest mosque in Sidayu Gresik and one of heritage of Kyai Kanjeng Sepuh. Its name taken from its founder and to become one of favorite place to be visited by tourist. My recommended place to be visited when you are passing by

The toilets are very plentiful and clean. The mosque is quite spacious. And to the west of the mosque there is the grave of the elderly Kanjeng Mas.
