The oak suites is located inside 'the ark' building Asokwa. They have spacious car park and top class security. The attendants and staff are well trained. The environment is clean. However, this place as the name implies does not have/offer single rooms but suites exclusively. There are not banquet halls. But you have access to a well equipped gym and very Big swimming pool. These facilities are exclusive to lodgers alone. It's a nice place to get away. Caveat: You gotta have deep pockets

My son was off from school and I had prior to do some marketing for my business so I wanted to kill two birds with one stone. First and foremost I have a certain standard when I stay at hotels especially if I am paying over $450+ usd a night. We arrived around 11:30am on Friday drove from accra to kumasi and checked in but was told that if I wanted to check in early I'll have to pay the night before rate but half of it. I have never heard of that especially when someone is booking a presidential suite. I was told Check in is at 4pm and check out is 12pm???? Anyway, after driving that long pregnant I found a place in the mall for my son and I to relax. The room was ready andni was able to view it before booking it. The hotel lost a star for this and money by doing that. You have to listen to your customers. 1 I'm pregnant hungry with 2 nannies and tired. If I had ordered from the hotel for all of us how much would I have spent? Instead patronised other establishments and that money could've gone to your facilities. The only perk for $450+ a night was breakfast for 2 which cheap hotels offer that all the time. So another star was lost bc I didn't see the value of paying that much for a room with no view. The pool was nice. The staff was attentive and was tipped handsomely for that. My room had a funny smell from the refrigerator. The menu was very small. Fried rice was 120 cedis, light soup a 100 cedis. They did bring 4 verna bottle waters and a Ceres juice when I arrived. I thought the beautiful ladies that accommodated me were absolutely fantastic. I would've liked to have saw more amenities from the hotel. Such as a restaurant with a live band or something the place had very few people which I didn't mind but I think other families would.

One of the best places in Kumasi to stay. You get what you pay for. Top notch service. No bar or restaurant but a great kitchen that provides awesome service and food. Lunch and breakfast were on point.

Best location to stay in Kumasi, pricy though and best than the big named hotels in the city.

I had a great stay in their suites, the service was good, and their manager Sarah was so serviceable and ready to make u comfortable. Staff were always full of smiles when attending to you. Main issue was with their two days Internet allocation , which you have to request new tokens after expiry and also limited Internet devices to only two at a time.

The Direction can be misleading- the inscription Oak Plaza should be much displayable rather than The Ark

My experience at The Ark has always been a topnotch. Anytime I stay there I fall in love with the place. Quiet and a cozy place in the center of kumasi. The luxury standard of the place has been well designed. And ohh we have to see the carpark at night, only V8s no picanto.

I will recommend Oak Plaza suites to any family who would like space, peace of mind and comfort plus added security. I spent six night there with my family and we had an awesome experience. I loved it. I will definitely go there again whenever I am in Ghana.

Didn't enjoy my stay there at all, services quite disorganized. Struggled to get food as i always had to order food from outside which took quite a while. No water (drinking) for guest, bad odour from my bathroom, i eventually had to check out to another hotel. With such huge prices for your suites, i think much can be done better

The ark as they call it. Very resourceful location. Close to the Kumasi City Mall, Vienna City, the stadium among others. Very neat rooms. And modern styles. Only spent a night in July 2021. Spacious parking, beautiful swimming pool. Definitely will book them again when I visit πŸ‡¬πŸ‡. Too bad I can’t upload video because I do a video room cam for my trips.

It's a very cool place. It'll be a very good place for a getaway. Really impressive facilities and it's a walking distance to the Kumasi City Mall so you can get almost anything you'd need. I really loved it

This is a really really nice place to stay in Kumasi. Moneys worth if you ask me. Just love the ambiance and the level of detail they went into to make your stay there a memorable one. The staff there also understand what service is about. Make that choice.

By far, the well deserving 5 star hotel in Kumasi. It is a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. It has spacious rooms with an apartment feel and quality amenities. The service was excellent, and the food was excellent. My only regret was that I didn't stay there long enough. Rooms were very neat and orderly, and no dust was seen in sight. The bathroom was exquisite, and all the nooks and creeks were squeaky clean. I would recommend they make small rooms for people who don't need that much space for one night. Aside from that, I will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone and everyone with good taste in hotels.
