My wife and I moved here from another state which can be very stressful. We worked with the leasing manager Ivy from the moment of our first showing up until now and she has been the most pleasant part of our moving process into this community. She has been very helpful throughout the entire process from application to moving in. We are truly grateful for her. She is the only reason I decided to leave a review and give five stars. If you are thinking of moving into blu south town homes, Ask for Ivy!

When we first moved in, we noticed that the quality of the place was complete trash. The stairs were creaky, walls are very thin, hardwood floors absorbed liquids, pins and needles in the carpet, switches in the panel keep jumping spoiling our food in the fridge. But no no no, they aren’t responsible for that they say. I emailed the manager I suppose, Crystal, and she responded after 3 weeks or so. Thank goodness I forwarded the email to her 4 times, otherwise, I might have waited until the next year. Waited all that time for an email to say we would still have to clean and get the carpet shampooed when we leave. Every time I see someone on a golf cart touring, or walking in the front office, I want to tell them to leave and don’t come back, otherwise they will experience a nightmare like us. I believe from now on, I will try to warn everyone that comes. Tell them to not make this mistake.

My husband and I recently moved here from a really unsafe space and Jayna was upfront, transparent and extremely helpful in getting us moved out of our old space into Blu South in less than a week. The amenities are awesome and always very well kept up. There’s tons of things here to do even if you just need to step outside for some fresh air. I feel extremely safe here, and often take really long walks alone because of how safe I feel. It’s also very quiet in the evenings, you don’t hear any road traffic at all which is a plus! I would highly recommend moving into this community for safety, it’s amenities, nice living quarters and awesome management. If you need someone to talk to about these homes ask for Jayna!

I've lived here almost two years now, and just like any new construction place, when I first moved in, the communication and issues were happening on what seemed to be a regular basis however, everything got addressed and fixed eventually. With the new office staff (shout out to Jayna)I have no issues anymore with communication, and all maintenance requests are handled much faster than before. This is the first place that has felt like home for me, and I've lived the Charlotte area since 2012. Highly recommend this place!

We’ve lived at Blu South for 5 months now and are very happy with our decision to live in this community. It’s a new development and things keep progressing in the right direction which we love. At the same time, the people we have met at the dog park and at social events have been great and overall we feel very safe in our home. Thank you Ivy, Crystal and Jayna for helping us get settled and moved in and thank you to the maintenance staff for being so quick and knowledgeable!

Jayna has been amazing!!! I toured a ton of places with my friends all in one day due to being from out of state and she truly made the experience worthwhile! Every time I have had a question she has been able to answer it or get me the answer almost immediately. While I have not lived here yet the team made my experience here completely different from other communities in the area!

Crystal at Blu South is so helpful and professional! From day one she answered all of our questions and made the move-in process a breeze! We loved living at Blu South and anytime we needed help with anything, Crystal was so quick to get things done! Not only that, Crystal was always super involved in the fun community events that Blu South hosts. The amenity center was amazing and really created a sense of community. We used the dog park almost every day and it was always well kept. Our house was beautiful. I would highly recommend calling and asking for Crystal if you are looking to rent!

We love Blu South! The amenities are top tier. The weight room has everything you could ask for, accompanied by a golf simulator, pool table, shuffle board, and lounge area. The pool is my favorite spot as it has ample seating, a grill area, and seating in the pool. There’s also 2 dog parks and a dog cleaning session which is awesome for our 2 active dogs. Lastly, they have awesome community events that are fun, relatable and allow us to meet other residents. Highly recommend!

The leasing office has been amazing! I initially came to visit Blu South in April of 2023 to take a look at the property and at first glance it was amazing. Jayna and Ivy were amazing hosts showing us the available units and how the community is spread out. Our move in date wasn't going to be until September 2023, but we really wanted to check out the property beforehand and make sure we would be happy here. We finally moved to Charlotte and the place is better than expected. The leasing staff has been attentive and super helpful throughout the move-in process. The dog park is amazing, and the gym is perfect for a morning workout! There is a Target and a World Market super close so that is the only problem, because my girlfriend will be spending all of our $$ there lol.

Don’t recommend coming here. Cheap quality material for housing and the staffing is very slacking. The manager doesn’t really care about you after they act nice and get you to move in. They are also giving rewards to people that can refer a friend or family member, because they are trying to make it seem as if it’s a good deal. When in reality it is not. If they see bad reviews they will just say “We are sorry about….Please feel free to reach out to us at…….” Because they do not care. It is only for their image.

I moved in pretty recently to this complex, and needless to say it has blown my perspective of living in the Charlotte area out of the water. From the amenities and the staff to the residents, everyone here is extremely friendly. I’d like to specifically shout out Ivy and Jayna for being on top of everything during the process of moving here and applying as well. They’ve been extremely helpful and friendly during the process. Couldn’t recommend more!

Constant construction. My air quality filters show the nasty air quality. Migrant workers they hired to build work seven days a week in even the worst weather conditions. Crystal the main point of contact is no gem. Cheap houses, thin walls with the lowest quality dry wall I have ever seen. Nails in carpet not properly secured. They do not care about their residents health. Construction dust was piled up everywhere in the house, they never cleaned it according to construction standards. Greed and profit over humans like every cooperation and Crystal dares to have words from the bible written on her car. Not very Christ like.

This is THE best living experience I’ve had since moving to Charlotte. Jayna, Ivy and Crystal always a delight whenever I stop by the office and the trio has developed pretty fun events. I’ve been to met new neighbors who have now become friends along with the staff! I highly recommend Blu South to anyone who is looking for a home AND community with an awesome vibe! 10/10 recommend
