If you havnt tried this amazing restaurant then your probably missing out on the best Indian food in Perth. From the mouth watering odour of the food lingering in the air to the welcoming smile on arrival from the lovely manager you know your really in for a treat. The food arrived promptly and the serving sizes were very generous. Very tender meat and full of beauiful flavours. Generous servings make this restaurant a must go for any food enthusiast .I recommend the onion bajis and butter chicken. I will definitely be back

This is our local go to indian take away. But had our usual order last night and the recipes seem to have changed? Still good, just not as good as we are used to. Update: we gave it another go and unfortunately, the quality has gone down even further. The butter chicken had a interesting taste and watery. Other dishes seems to be lacking flavour and watery as well.

Ordered for the 1st time on uber eats, the butter chicken was the best I have ever had. Have since ordered directly many more times and dined in once (restaurant was clean and staff friendly and welcoming).

The food is good but the service is horrible. I have been a customer of Virasat for the past 10 years now. I don't know if owners have changed but I have been there on multiple occasions, even when they were completely empty on Friday nights because the food was good but now they act like they are too big for their britches. The lady at the reception is extremely rude. She interrupted me abruptly on numerous times while I was ordering. She was loud unfriendly, both on the phone and in person. I was told it would take 45 minutes for my order to be ready. I got there at 50 minutes just in case. She looked for my food for god knows how long before going into the kitchen and came back without telling me anything. 10 minutes later they come out with my drinks then tell me that its going to be a bit longer because they are waiting for the Naan bread. I waited half an hour to get the bread. Recipes for naan bread at home say it is 25 minutes when you start from scratch. No apologies, no explanation. I had to wait 1.5 hours for my food in total. My family buys food there every week. We are a big family so its over $130 every week. I have half a mind to start looking elsewhere.

I'm sorry to give a poor review after several years of really enjoying your food. All three of the dishes we ordered this week were bland, the vegetables were mushy, the sauces were just wrong. Even the papads were overcooked. What's happened?

This is definitely a hidden Gem. Went for a father's day meal early. The food was delicious and we loved it there. WE WILL RETURN!!!

Probably my favourite Indian restaurant in Perth, highly recommend, have not been disappointed yet. Update 26.7.22: since my original review the owner of this restaurant has changed, as a result has the menu and the food.

I am very happy to say that I finally found my favourite indian restaurant so far..food was amazing, fresh an most importantly in busy time they served me quick. There is a wide range of choices. Service is prompt and friendly. Highly recommend , you won’t be disappointed. Cheers

It's a local, family run, warm environment that offers service with a smile and amazing food! Decor not modern, but I go to eat, mingle with friends over BYO and enjoy sensational food. Had a delicious meal here tonight. The ladies were really helpful with suggestions. One of the things we had was the goat curry, it was melt in your mouth. Looking forward to going back and trying more.

We had Chicken Biryani, Malai Kofta, Garlic Naan and steamed rice for dinner tonight. Parveen attended to us; she was such a sweet and friendly staff. Food was DELICIOUS - chicken biryani served to my liking, soft naan, beautiful malai kofta served to my partner's request. You got to try if you are in the area. It is worth a visit!

Virasat has to be the best place in Perth for naan bread. The dishes are generous and not overly western, giving an authentic touch to this rich Indian cuisine.

We have been looking for a new local Indian restaurant since our favourite one shutdown. Sadly, this won’t be it as we live too far away. However, if we were local, we would be back to this place like a shot. We ordered around six mains and rice and garlic naan. The mains were fantastic. The ingredients were fresh, and the spices were super tasty. Really well done.

Our first order tonight, we had takeaway (Saturday night). We ordered online via their page. Food is DELICIOUS. The Lamb Korma is soooo tender :) Ooh the Dal Tadka is a bit hot :) :) Thank you, we will be back. We used to go to another place, further away.

Delicious! We asked for extra hot and it was the perfect heat. Some places we try and ask for hot it doesn't deliver and it is just salty. The food here is excellent.

One of the best Indian restaurants in and around Rockingham. All the dishes we ordered were top notch. Only thing they can improve is on the dessert which was something we didn’t like that much as it wasn’t authentic. Worth the drive and will visit again.

Shocked at all the good reviews for this place. Service is ridiculously slow, preference given to Uber/pickup orders. Waited 35 minutes for a basic entree to arrive, then another ridiculously long wait before mains arrived. Butter chicken was dry and bland. Naan bread was oily and inedible. Had to request water twice. Atmosphere of disorganised chaos.

Overpriced curry and under chopped onion 😳 We are usually happy with virasat but the ‘onion salad’ was more onion than salad, and looked like it had been dropped on the floor. Let’s hope they get back to their usual standard quickly

Highly recommend this place. Food is amazing. Staff is very polite. I don’t remember the name of that lady but she is an indian ( may be) and having little cute daughter. SHE is really brilliant. Food quality is best and very hard for others to compete. For sure will go again.

Very disappointed with the chicken biryani. Does not even remotely taste like what a chicken biryani should be. Tasted like overly spiced rice with chicken. To the restauranteur, your biryani is misrepresentative of the dish and gives locals the misconception of what a biryani is.

Ordered through Ubereats. No utensils provided even though the box was ticked so I am left with a tea spoon at the motel. Their idea of seasonal vegetables is 90% carrots and the rest is tiny pieces of overcooked broccoli and beans. They didn’t even get my drink order right.

Food is good, service is absolutely terrible, DO NOT ORDER ON LINE, you will be charged twice with no delivery. Then denial an order existed, advice....screen shot your money exiting your account. It's quite common for them to charge you TWICE and still deny !!!!! Be careful. What a shame.

Virasat is always the first choice for me and my family when we are hungry for Indian, the food is always flavourful and satisfying. We love the warm, friendly service when we are dining in and even when we get take away.

I love Indian curry, what’s more I love Virasat Indian curries the most!!! When I asked for an extremely hot vindaloo that is exactly what I got 🔥 🔥. The curries here are so tasty and they are very generous! Real value for money. Oh did I mention the garlic naans ? So moist and tasty!!!! We are so lucky to have such good quality curry locally!!! Ordered takeaway and it’s probably the most authentic Indian food I’ve had in Perth so far. Cheese and Garlic Naan’s were delicious Chicken Curry and Tandoori Chicken were also very good.

Just had dinner tonight and I must say, hands down- one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The portion size was big, fresh and delicious! And also THANK YOU to the staff, you were so friendly and extremely good customer service! Will definitely return.

Best Indian in Rockingham and highly recommend dining in. Portions are generous and the menu is great with so many options, including a large vegetation section. You can choose your protein and spice level on most dishes as well which is great (they do serve beef). They can get very busy and there's usually a stream of takeaway and delivery going out the door.

We love this restaurant. It is the only thing we now order on uber eats as the food is always cooked to perfection and is always consistent. Feel so great after eating the food and I 100% recommend Virasat to others it is definitely 10 out of 10 ♥️🥰

Absolutely delicious and decent sized meals for delivery. The saffron rice is the perfect texture and the meat just falls apart in your mouth. Generous with the sauces and absolutely full of flavour. Chicken vindaloo packs a decent punch, gets our nose running and eyes watering everytime and the beef korma has good size chunks that are tender and break apart with the spoon. Thankyou for another delicious dinner, can't wait till the next time we treat ourselves!

Delicious, consistent Indian flavours the whole family enjoys from the classic butter chicken to my favorite the chef's special goat curry. The Rogan Josh is also worthy of a mention 🙌

We had our wedding dinner at Virasat on 6 May 2023. The owners Goldy and Jass were so helpful in planning the menu for our guests. Jass decorated the wall behind us making us feel so special. The food and quality was outstanding to say the least. Our guests enjoyed the entrées and main courses that kept everyone well fed. I would highly recommend this lovely family business to anyone who wants to experience good Indian tucker !!

Stunning interior, feels so homely, customer service was on point, with constant check ups, love to see it!! The food was a 10/10, absolutely spectacular, highly recommended for good, quality and authentic Indian food!
