Took my 10 year old twin girls along for their first ear piercing. Professional, clean, friendly and reasonable pricing. These guys are experts. They were great with the kids. Highly recommend.

pierced my septum completely wrong, it is straight through thick cartilage. he also had to pierce it twice due to his incompetence and it was probably the most painful experience of my life (piercings hurt but it shouldnt hurt that much). also judged me for wanting a septum piercing and was generally weird, creepy and not at all comforting. additionally, the standard jewelry they use if you dont want to pay for more fancy jewelry is NOT good enough quality. (surgical steel is not okay for piercings no matter what other people say, look it up. not to mention, its externally threaded). please for your own sake, do not come here for a piercing. buying jewelry, fine, but do not get pierced.

I should have decided against my lobe piercing when the "piercer" brought out a piercing gun...and when they didn't give me a longer bar option if it swelled up, they told me to come back and get rings...which are not the right shape for a healing piercing. I went to a piercing shop specifically cause I heard guns cause unnecessary trauma to the lobe and wanted a needle. I put too much trust in them thinking this gun would be any different than the one used on me in a mall when I was 12. One of the piercings has sunken in, as they said it likely would, and I will be going elsewhere to get a proper titanium back piercing with a longer bar to compensate for swelling. The other option of a loop instead of a stud was almost $50 more and as I said, loops arent the right shape for a healing piercing. Guess I'm paying the price for the gun

Have got a number of my piercings done here by both Tiahna and Tom. Have provided advice around placement to achieve my desired look. Such a clean, hygienic and great studio. Both super professional, patient and calm- never had any issues with healing! Would not go anywhere else!

Would not reccomend. The man who works here is unprofessional and ignores clients desires. I got my lip pierced and asked if I could get a metal bar but he insisted on a plastic one (not safe for healing piercings). My friend went to get their lobes pierced and asked for hoops to which he pressured them of and instead pierced it with a gun (not safe for piercings). Not only was the man unprofessional, the prices on the website did not match up with those in the store. After these experiences as well as hearing some from other people, I will not be getting pierced here and would urge others to find another piercing studio to get pierced at.

Come on, this place is awesome. Huge... huge range of jewellery. Tom looks gruff, but he knows piercing and is genuinely doing the right thing by his clients as well as fixing our shops' dodgy work. Great crew, clean shop super reasonable rates.

Great service here, I went in to pick up a new 16mm tunnel after I lost mine in the Swan River. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had a really good selection of all sizes of tunnels. I ended up grabbing two hand carved wooden tunnels and couldn't be happier with them. The quality is really good and they look great.

As always, Tom was so helpful and friendly. My daughter had her brand new nose piercing knocked out and we couldn't get it back in...we were stressed!! Tom showed us how to get it back in (pain-free) and within seconds, we were good to go. Thanks Tom, I don't know what we would do without you 🥰

Popped in on Saturday with random piercing issue and was just blown away by how friendly and caring the staff were. She took the time to explain the problem and helped me with figuring out what I needed to do to take care of it .. my piercing wasn’t even done there, but I will definitely be back.

Great friendly service and excellent with kids. The Piercing Places is super clean and very experienced. I would highly recommend coming here for any piercing needs. Both my young daughters and myself have all had piercings here, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Went with a friend to get her first ear piercing and Tom, the piercing technician who worked there was consistently rude and belittled myself and my friend when we asked what we believed were sensible questions for the first time getting a piercing, such as healing time with a piercing gun verses a needle. We were polite and weren't disruptive in any way so I am unsure what elicit that response. I don't know if he was having a bad day but my friend was already nervous about getting her first piercing and it was a very uncomfortable atmosphere. If someone doesn't like their job that much that snarky comments to people who are anxious about getting a needle stabbed through them, I don't think they should be dealing with customers. Especially when looking at other reviews it seems like this is an ongoing problem that has not been fixed.

I don’t think i have ever posted a review for any particular business but for this one i need to. This business is hands down the best place in perth to get any piercing or anything changed. Due to my skin not reacting well to cheap or silver jewellery, it has been a struggle finding a sufficient piercing place to avoid anything going wrong. I have been coming here for years now and never had any problems. Service is fast, efficient and reliable. Would not trust anyone else. Have never faced any faults since coming here. Amazing service ! :)

It's not often I write reviews but these guys were amazing. I came in with a fully sunk dermal in my hip after being told at another place I would need a doctor to cut it all out. They fixed it up and changed the top for all 4 of my dermals so it won't happen again in future. Absolute professionals and I got to keep my dermal! All healed up now

Great service and made me feel comfortable with getting my new piercing. I was able to get a hoop when I got my conch piercing instead of the stud which I was really happy with. Would definitely go back for future piercings! Highly recommend.

Went with 2 other friends and was super nervous today about getting pierced for the first time (I got snakebites) but was reassured and joked with to break the tension, will definitely be going back in the future!

I’d never want to go anywhere else to be honest. The bloke who does the piercings is a bit like quiet with a very dry/bleak sense of humour which I guess might make some people who can’t take it uncomfortable but I personally think it’s great, and he’s so skilful at what he does too. I find his no nonsense demeanour is what keeps me so chill getting the piercings in the first place and he’s always got it spot on for me and all of my friends when we’ve been.

Got my nose pierced and was the easiest process. Went on a Friday around lunchtime so it was quite busy. I did have to wait about 40 minutes however I didn't mind this as I just walked around Fremantle for a bit. Once in, the piercer was quick and I had no problems in the healing process. Didn't hurt afterwards and fully heals in about a month. Getting all my piercings done here from now on! :)

My Daughter had her ears pierced for her 7th Birthday at a different piercing place in Fremantle but has had nothing but constant infections for a whole year later, even after going back and seeking their professional advice 3-4times. After the infections were getting unbearable, I decided thankfully to visit Tom from The Piercing Place in Fremantle and although he first came across slightly abrupt, both my daughter and I am very grateful we sought his advice. He jumped straight in with no hesitation, cleaned her very infected ears up, advised us on proper cleaning routine, gave us some cream and never asked for a penny for his service. My daughter thinks Tom is her new hero now and she will always see Tom for future advice or piercings when she gets older. Thanks Tom😉

i’ve had a piercing done here before and they turned out fine, but unfortunately i had my septum pierced here 2 years ago and recently found out that it was pierced in the complete wrong spot :( I went to multiple shops and asked for advice on why after almost a year it was unhealed and extremely painful. They all confirmed my suspicion that it was definitely pierced far too high and through my cartilage. The initial piercing wasn’t even a pleasant experience either- piercer was pretty rude and rough during piercing and hardly even looked inside my nose before deciding where to pierce. I brushed this off as he had done my nostril years earlier and assumed he was a just little blunt but ultimately knew what he was doing. Guess not. I now how a permanent hole and pain through my CARTILAGE and may not be able to get it re-pierced. Really upset as previously this was my go-to place for piercings. Do your research and read reviews before choosing a piercer, when talking to others about my experience i found that there are many similar to mine from this place and worse!!! To be fair, i haven’t been back since this experience and am thoroughly hoping things have changed since.

I have been here twice in relation to my ear lobe piercings. Whilst I didn’t have any specifically poor experience with this place, I think it’s worth mentioning the use of a piercing gun, which I know many are against, to do lobe piercings here! Going to a specific piercing shop, i would not generally expect this, though I’m sure you can request otherwise if you have this preference. I was asked recently if I would recommend this place for a friends belly button piercing, but I don’t know how comfortable I would feel personally with the main piercer (Tom?) with a more intimate piercing location, considering my experience at the shop those two times, in addition to some of the lower star reviews on google of their experiences too. I recently attended another piercer in the city that had a nice formalised piercing procedure and high quality sterilising equipment, which certainly made me feel much more comfortable as this place is a bit more casual, though I did not have big concerns about the sanitary aspect of The Piercing Places :)

Went into this shop today because I had a lip piercing that embedded under my skin, I was immediately welcomed with open arms. Staff were extremely gentle and removed the piercing and managed to put a new one in. Staff were very friendly and helpful and took amazing care of me (even though I was holding on and squeezing the man’s arm during the entire process) Definitely highly recommend this place! Don’t think another piercing place would have done as well as this place did! Thank you once again! 😊

I bought a septum ring and the piercer fitted it for myself. The gentleman that fitted it was amazingly fast and created a great friendly environment. I would definitely recommend!

Wouldn’t recommend. Staff was nice and piercing was sanitary, but at first they were going to use a piercing gun (not a single use gun either), and we were told the cost of the piercing using a needle would be $75, the final cost was almost double that, at $140. We were never told about any extra cost, especially one that expensive. The actual jewellery they put in our ears also used butterfly backs, but luckily weren’t secured too tightly. The piercing places also offers to pierce babies. The care advice after the piercing was good though, I liked how we received a sheet with instruction of piercing care. I wouldn’t recommend this place because of the safety hazards with guns and butterfly backs.

Got my first piercing by Tom at 15 and have had 3 more since over the years and at 28 had another piercing a couple of days ago. Over the last 13 years of visiting, the studio is always extremely clean with plenty of high quality jewellery to choose from. Tom has done all my piercings and is very professional and has always made me feel comfortable. He is knowledgeable and friendly and the detailed aftercare makes me feel like they really care about their customers. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start their piercing journey.

Had my nose pierced here on Tuesday, i was absolutely terrified but the piercer calmed down my nerves with a few jokes. I’m absolutely satisfied with the placement and the way my piercing is healing. I will definitely be coming back for my next piercings

They didn’t sanitise my nose prior to piercing, this resulted in my nose piercing becoming irritated and infected and I needed to take the piercing out.

I don’t know how this place has good reviews. I went in today to get my nose stud changed and the old guy was so rude. He started touching my existing stud in my nose with his grubby hands that stunk of ciggies. Hygiene literally does not exist there because he handled everything with his dirty hands. The guy also tried to pull out my existing piercing even though I told multiple times it’s a flat back. If you want to get infected piercings then I higggggghly recommend coming here

Got my belly button pierced from here 2 years ago and have never had any issues. I couldn’t get my belly button jewellery out so I went there today to get them to take it out and replace with a new belly ring In for free of charge. I highly recommend this piercing place the owner is lovely and very experienced.
