This "object" could be the cover design for Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World" or Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty-four".
Very beautiful designed wheel it has got restaurant and kids play area inside. You can even sit inside and have a view of Ashgabat from it. Best time to go is near sunset as you can enjoy day and night time..after lights are lit it looks totally different 😊
Worlds largest indoor Ferris wheel, world-famous! Main Christmas tree in Ashgabat
It is the world's largest indoor observation wheel. 16 see-through gondolas are running around. The scenery is not very good, but I was excited by the feeling of being in a flashy building beyond that.
Ferris wheel ride was mediocre except for the fact that nobody else was there. In fact there was nobody else in the whole centre which made it a fascinating experience. That’s the main draw. Good view of city and government buildings. Can play some arcade games here - just need to ask staff to turn on the power. Exactly what you would hope for in an amusement centre in Turkmenistan.
This is site has an amazing architecture! I visited on a Wednesday and no one was around. There isn’t any information on the working hours too! I was so looking forward the experience! Still worth stop by for pictures!!
The Alem Center was officially opened in 2012 by President Berdimuhamedov. The most striking part of this cultural and entertainment center is a 57-meter Ferris wheel known as "Alem" (meaning the universe). At the time of its opening, it was entered into the Guinness World Records Book as the largest Ferris wheel in an enclosed space.
It’s a ferry wheel , it’s a amusement park indoor , went in have a look , popcorn for sale , video arcade inside
