I personally think that Kendra Hall is overrated. It is neat, spacious and air-conditioned. However they are plenty more pretty venus with lovely gardens. Kendra Hall amongst the Indians community is a status thing, like back in the day if you had a function at the Durban City Hall. Every function that I attended at Kendra I noticed the same behavior from guests. As soon as the function is over, congratulations are paid, people leave. Yet I been to other venues were the guests linger on, to chat with old friends or family, to enjoy the gardens, catchup with family and friends pics, and just enjoy themselves. With Kendra they sometimes have three functions two functions at the same time and everything becomes a rush. How sad, for all the money spent and the host do not get to enjoy the venue. Kendra is ok, but if you look further you will find venues that are much more better were your guests will not want to leave.

I had my wedding at Kendra and it was amazing. The staff was very helpful at every step of the way. They even allowed my family use of the fridge a few days prior to the wedding. Joelene had great reccomendations for decor and catering and assisted us were she could with the planning.

Excellent venue for weddings as well as orher occasions. Centrally situated with ample secure parking. Beautiful decor for the wedding that i attended. Elevator for the elderly as well as others. There is also a secondary hall on the ground floor.

The perfect venue for an Indian wedding. Seats up to 800. Lots of parking. Good facilities and generous with times. Centrally located in durban Cbd so that everyone knows the place. Large decor sets can also fit in both rooms. The smaller room up to 400.

It's a great facility to host your function, good security and parking provided. Well kept toilets and a very clean premises.

Pros- Lovely decor. Spacious. Cons- High Risk Area. Parking issues. Process of getting married at the hall is monotonous. No chance to mingle with guests. Arrive, view ceremony, eat,take photos with married couple then leave as there are other functions going on at the other two rooms. It feels like a waste of money and something from a bygone era

Very popular venue for Indian weddings. Parking is a little inconvenient. Toilets are neat and clean. The venue relies on draping and decor to captivate.

Kendra Hall is a well-known venue for many weddings and events. The auditoriums are large and more than capable of seating your guests. Parking is secure and toilet facilities are clean. We always enjoy photographing our clients' weddings at this venue.

The upstairs venue is spacious for a wedding with a beautiful stage setting. I didn't see an elevator going up so I wonder how they cater for people with disabilities. Parking can be a schlep.

It's a beautiful venue. The staff is well attired and neat. The food is lovely. During Covid, they do check temperatures at the entrance. Has sufficient parking in the back. So secure and safe.

All covid protocols were followed at the venue. Great layout of the hall, adequate space to accommodate all guests to feel comfortable and relaxed. Plenty of parking in the rear of the property, with guards on patrol. There is a lift to accommodate the elderly. Great all round view of the stage area no matter where you sit.
