Rude reception staff and appalling phone service! The reception has always been staffed with the rudest ignorant women but thankfully you don’t have to interact with them as much now that you can check in yourself upon arrival. Before, you would have to stand there and be ignored while they finished their inane conversions. Unfortunately, you still have to deal with them to book an appointment. I have just called 85(!!) times between 8.30 and 10.00 and have not got through. Appalling service! The phone rings out and then cuts you off and on occasion was engaged- not sure how this is possible considering they don’t answer. Poor reflection on the Surgery as the medical team are actually very good (nurses and doctors). It’s just a shame there hasn’t been the investment needed for a proper phone system.

The worst GP ever existed! Customer service very poor. The receptionist has no manners and it’s very rude. They’re a shame to the NHS! They don’t want to help at all! Change your job girls if you hate it! It’s simple as that!!!! Let someone who cares about people sit in your chair! Someone needs to report them I see too many reviews here so I mustn’t be the only one thinking this way. Michelle was the only one that always was willing to help and I thank you this way!

I requested a prescription for an inhaler which they said would be available in 48 hours and it wasn't - I had to go into the surgery TWICE to try and pick it up - and 72 hours later, it's still not ready. The receptionist then asked me to come back in 30 minutes, so I did. Then I waited another 45 minutes before she printed it off and said she will ask the Dr to sign it. Dr Harrison came to the front desk and REFUSED to sign the prescription saying the surgery was now closed and proceeded to tell the receptionist to tell me that if its urgent, I should go to the walk in centre. Utterly DISGUSTING and arrogant behaviour - it would have taken all of 5 seconds to sign my prescription but instead I was told to go to the walk in centre if my asthma gets worse. Doctors have a duty of care to the patient and she should KNOW that an asthma attack without inhalers can be life-threatening. I'm beyond shocked at how any Dr could do that - so it's ok to let a patient get worse and then inconvenience a patient to spend hours in a walk in centre and all because she couldn't be bothered to sign something that would have taken 5 seconds of her precious time??? She should be sued for negligence of her duty. Unbelievable behaviour - and one you don't expect from a Dr.

Can never get through the phone rings and rings but nobody picks up. Sometimes the ringing is cut short by someone declining the call. On the rare occasion my call is answered the staff is extremely rude. They're also just as rude in person. It's appalling. I'm made to feel uncomfortable asking basic questions. On my last appointment I heard the receptionist talking about a patient who she had been on the phone to in appalling terms. This surgery needs to be reformed and the current staff dismissed and replaced by polite helpful and courteous staff.

Worst surgery in the UK. The receptionists have no manners. It's also extremely hard to get an appointment because they never pick up the phone and if you go to the surgery to get an appointment the receptionists are very rude especially Lauren and Marca. Patients have to wait for an extreme amount of time before their appointment. Extremely poor service. .

They never answer the phone. When you do actually get to see a doctor or nurse the staff are lovely however reception needs people sat on the phone and a call waiting option at 8am so you don't have to call 51 times in order to be told they have no same day appointments when you've been calling since 8 and finally get picked up/through at 8.30

The staff are very rude, I won’t mention trying to call the place to make an appointment they don’t pick up and cancel the call and if you call past 8 they say there’s no appointments left. Ridiculous

Worst clinic ever. I would give it zero stars if I could. Staff are rude- lose your prescription and your test results. They also aren't competent enough to handle any basic information so they just stare at you like they can't understand. Cannot get an appointment for weeks. The phone is always engaged so if you are asking for emergency appointment- forget it. Doctors are no better, you see a different one every time- so if you have a medical condition you have to explain your whole medical history again and again. Would not recommend, worst experience ever.

The doctors (I usually see a locum) do an excellent job. The reception staff need training: they just have no idea how to treat the patients. Yesterday I witnessed a receptionist being so rude and patronising with an elderly patient. Shameful! Also, it is impossible to make an appointment by phone. I sincerely hope the practice GP will do something about this.

Incredibly incompetent. Go somewhere else. Called regarding being barely able to walk, and then was told to take paracetamol. And wait 7 more days.... General doctors and staff are rude and do no listen.

If you are looking for a GP surgery in Old Trafford go anywhere else but here. Even if it's inconvenient to go to a GP further away you will be doing yourself a huge favour. This surgery is the most apathetic and unprofessional place and should be avoided at all cost. I've been in petrol stations with kinder staff than here.

Moved to Old Trafford almost a year ago. So difficult to find a good surgery, have been to one at Limelight then changed to Seymour grove. Been at Surrey Lodge for 15 years it was a shock the way those surgeries they worked.Starting with reception need customer service course. Then last time i went there did blood test nurse, she told me to contact them in 2 weeks time if i don't hear from them, went there receptionist told me i don't need appointment because my blood test was normal, who is she to tell me about my tests? Nurse told me need every 3 months to do blood test again receptionist said she needs to sent a message to nurses, never had an answer, other people received letters for flu jabs, never get one. Others they say they never saw a doctor. Does any doctor really work there.I was expecting old trafford to be better.

I got through on the phone within 5 minutes to book an appointment, and the reception staff as well as the doctor I spoke to were all very friendly and helpful! Was wary due to the bad reviews on here, but is the closest GP to me, turns out I shouldn't have been worried, as I had a really good and easy experience making my appointment.
