Truly
awful
experience.
The
practice
is
almost
impossible
to
contact
to
start
off
with.
I
could
list
a
myriad
of
concerns
with
the
practice
but
here
are
the
main
ones
which
I
am
following
up
with
a
formal
complaint.
The
eventual
face
to
face
visit
I
got
for
my
father
was
appalling.
The
GP
had
not
read
his
notes
and
insisted
on
consulting
with
him
when
he
was
unable
to
give
full
details
due
to
his
condition.
When
I
tried
to
add
correct
details
I
was
told
to
be
quiet,
the
GP
put
up
her
hand
to
silence
me
and
told
me
she
'was
the
medical
professional'.
She
then
lectured
us
on
how
she
took
paracetamol
when
she
had
headaches,
despite
this
medication
already
being
suggested
by
a
previous
GP.
She
also
suggested
using
ibuprofen.
My
dad
got
no
additional
pain
relief.
The
GP
refused
to
review
the
other
serious
concerns
I
had
outlined
in
the
online
consult
form
despite
there
being
appointment
time
left.
There
would
have
been
more
time
if
we
hadn't
been
lectured
about
how
to
take
paracetamols
and
told
to
be
quiet
whilst
she
took
his
blood
pressure.
We
were
told
a
referral
to
a
neurologist
would
be
made
-
it
wasn't.
Dad
had
had
blood
tests,
I
asked
about
these
and
was
told
there
was
no
time
for
her
to
look
at
the
results
but
then
she
quickly
said
'most
of
them
look
okay'.
My
query
about
this
was
shut
down.
Another
GP
had
prescribed
my
dad
medication
which
carries
high
risk
warnings
for
one
of
his
conditions,
this
could
have
had
serious
repercussions
for
his
long
term
health.
The
ibuprofen
suggested
at
the
consultation
was
also
high
risk
for
my
dad
as
it
would
seriously
increase
his
risk
of
stroke.
GPs
are
prescribing
without
using
proper
safety
controls
such
as
reviewing
the
patient's
notes.
I
left
angry
and
frustrated.
My
dad
left
distressed.
Thank
goodness
we
were
able
to
consult
with
a
private
GP,
who
also
works
for
the
NHS.
