A magnificent little spot overlooking the entirety of the swiss border with Italy near Como. The place is literally the last point before Switzerland that my phone connected to the Swiss networks (be careful as Switzerland is not part of the EU roaming like home agreement). Everything you see is in Switzerland. You can clearly view Lugano, one of the bigger Swiss cities on the Italian side. The road itself is narrow and winding but nothing too difficult. There's a small parking area just outside the viewing platform. When we went there early December, there was nothing open. Normally there should be a small café. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Como for a day or two!

An awesome place to go for a hike destination or in the car. Just before the balcony there is a restaurant, you can get good mountain food here then either walk or drive to the balcony. There is a carpark at the top if you don't want to walk, there's also a snack bar at the top. There's also a good sized play park with a BBQ area. Amazing views of Lugano lake and the rest of the range . If you have a free afternoon with the kids it's a nice place to go.

Absolutely stunning views - 4 star just due to the fact it’s a building site currently and the road to get to it is poor - otherwise from a view point it would be 5 star

Fantastic views of Lake Lugano. There is a place for children to play as well as picnic tables. There is also a bar overlooking the beautiful panama below. To the side you will see a path that will lead you up to a small church.

One of the best panoramic view points we’ve ever been to!

One of best panoramic view. Italy Switzerland. Quite good service on site including food and toilet. Parking for 20 cars and 40+ bikers. Hard to get, but view is worth it. Sport cars and huge caravans will have some issues due to tinny and damaged roads.

This place was suggested to us by a very nice waitress of a restaurant we went to. It is a beautiful place with amazing views of switzerland. It is between italy and switzerland so in just a few steps you are in 2 different countries :) The road to get there is a bit narrow and winding but it was worth it!

Most beautiful place I have ever seen. I recommend bringing some food and sitting down for a picnic at one of the tables. There are two levels where you can watch the lake. Amazing.

Free great views of lake lugano and the swiss/italian border

Scenic views (panoramic view) from the lakes. There’s a small free parking lot close to the site. Access to the Swiss side. Counts on a small coffee place with tables where you can enjoy beverages and ice cream served by a cordial staff.

Megga climb! Lovely until last half when the road becomes really rough with pot holes etc....which meant 1st half of the decent was dredful! 2 punctures and so many potholes unavoidably hit. (Would say worst iv ever been on & that says alot coming from uk) Very unpleasant road surface. Although it does look like they are working their way to repair or resurfacing it as the workmen were half way up. Otherwise lovely cafe at top and beutiful views. Glad iv done it but would not do it again...equally spectacular views from other nearby mountains with nice road surfaces.

The panorama is stunning with a great view over lake Lugano with the whole area. Good free parking. The road seems not to have redone since 1913 when the built it. I also expect the authorities to pave walking path and proper stairs.

Incredible. An absolute must if you're anywhere near Como, it's a 30 minute drive from Argegno. Pictures just don't do it justice.
