The old school vibe straight out of a 1960's painting. Lovely place that's very popular no matter when you go. The owner, Mr Giannasi was actually there when they did a promotion of their new beer so you know that he takes care of the place. The popolette pollo con formaggio is delicious and their chicken nuggets has a very special taste. They sell by weight so expect to pay around 10 euros. Watch out for beggars and pick-pockets around the crowd.

More than 50 years running the same business come not for a chance. Probably the best roasted chicken in Milano. Don't get scared by some queue, they have four serving stands at the kiosk. Don't ignore the several side dishes available. One more plus: yesterday's chicken are given away at half price. &, about prices, absolutely reasonable & affordable. Beware, parking quite difficult. But public transport stops very convenient,a few tens of meters away.

With the roasted chicken (pollo arrosto) and oven baked potatoes with rosemary (patate al forno) you are guaranteed to go on a sensorial trip to another dimension. Oh, and the ticket for the ride costs only 4,15€. The best I’ve ever had.

Best roast chicken in milan, not only chicken but they have a lot of options lasagna fried chicken, chicken meat balls, grilled vegetables, cuscus and many more. Must try.

The whole chicken is good, as average. The meat is not dry and quite flavorful, but tends to be pretty salty. There are plenty of people but the line is quick.

Best take out in Milan for quality, taste and value. All their chicken products are juicy and full of flavor, and all the side dishes are fresh and just as good. Prices are unbeatable.

The place to go to have a good take away grilled chicken. The other food offered is really good as well. It is better to call in advance to reserve some food.

Well seasoned yummy whole roasted chicken and potatoes. The roasted onions are nice!

I had roasted chicken and baked potatoes, both were so delicious at a reasonable price and quantity., There was a slight rush during the closing time it was nothing compared to the lunch time, The people at the counter were nice.

Check your bill on the counter as they’ve charged us 5 euro extra for food that we didn’t purchase.

Giannasi is an institution if you love chicken as they do over the US and UK. All the cashiers and the owner are super friendly too.

Really nice roast chicken (and much more). Unreasonably busy on Saturdays - get a number and go shopping. The line can last for an hour...

I love this place which has a huge variety of take away food. Everything is really delicious and the staff us super kind
