If you are reading this, you are obviously hungry and looking for a good place eat. Well I'm here to tell you to look no further. Warsa Restaurant is a MUST if you are looking for something different and unique. The atmosphere is great, and the staff was VERY friendly and spoke English really well. They were more than happy to demonstrate how to eat their food the traditional way using your hands. My wife and I loved the food so much that we finished the single meat platter within a few minutes. This rating will not due this restaurant justice. YOU MUST TRY IT FOR YOURSELF.

The place is really cute and cozy, eating with your hands and sitting almost on the floor give you a sense of exotic (although you can choose the regular chairs and tables if you prefer). The food is tasty and filling and the price is reasonable. Shame for the service, which is super lazy and slow / when almost non existent.

The interior was really nice when we entered. I went there with my Turkish mom and dad who are used to really good food with meat. They give a 2 course meal (zighini) the first one is vegetables with meat and the second one is chicken and eggs. It is 18 eurous each portion and since we were 3 they gave us the 3 portion together as seen in the pictures. In my opinion it wasn’t worth it because we didn’t find the food tasty and the portions were too small for 18 euros so we left still not completely full. This might be because we just simply didn’t like the eritrean food and did not understand how it was supposed to be. The staff was gentle but overall we didn’t find it worthy.

(Translated by Google) Cozy restaurant in the Porta Venezia area with typical Eritrean decorations. You can choose whether to eat at "normal" or typical Eritrean tables. The staff is very nice and helpful but not very present: we had to get up to order another bottle of water and ask for more injera. We ate: -for appetizer one vegetarian sambusa per person (triangular sheets stuffed with vegetables whose taste recalls spring rolls) -one zighini di carne and one vegetarian that we decided to have in the same dish (but you can decide to have separate dishes) -injera (typical Eritrean bread that is used instead of cutlery) -2 bottles of water -1 cinnamon tea to digest (offered by the restaurant The portions of the zighini are very generous. The flavors are very particular and some dishes are slightly spicy. In all we spent € 50 euros We were a bit skeptical of the idea of eating with your hands but after all it was a nice experience ... definitely worth trying at least once!

First time trying Eritrean food. And wow was it delicious. Authentic Eritrean food in downtown Milan near the Buenos Aires neighborhood. The inside is very nicely decorated like being in a cave. Menu is small, consisting of a few appetizers, couple options for mains and some desserts. The food was very tasty. We shared the meat plate for two, very good and enough for two. Also had an appetizer, very good. At the end we had traditional tea provided as a gift. No dogs allowed. We made a reservation a few days before and was good idea as the place was very busy on Sunday evening. Highly recommend!

This 5/5 is totally warranted. The food was an absolute delight. Coupled with an incredibly warm and almost familial service, it reminded me of my grandma's home. A veritable delicious feast, thats extremely reasonably priced, served in a very warm and homely atmosphere.

(Translated by Google) Typical Eritrean place rather small but nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent quality price. Perhaps the only flaw is the somewhat reduced menu. Anyway, there is both a choice of meat and a vegetarian one (Original) Locale tipico eritreo piuttosto piccolo ma carino. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima qualità prezzo. Fully-deserved 5-star restaurant and definitely the best Eritrean cuisine in Milan. Portions are huge and prices more than reasonable. Good South African wine at 20 euros a bottle or 4 euros a glass. The place is nicely decorated and staff are kind and professional.

It is a local restaurant along warsa piti village in Mariri town of samaru, Saminaka. To get to this location, you will pass through kaduna to Kachia, to Zongwa, to Samaru from samaru to Mariri and from Mariri to warsa piti. They sell food for breakfast, lunch and dinner to the residents of that area. It is situated deep inside the village of warsa piti, close to LGEA primary school warsa piti. It has a wheelchair accessible entrance, a wheelchair accessible parking. It will take about 20minutes drive by car to get there and by foot almost 1hour or more. Nevertheless, this road also leads to states like Kano, Zaria, Jos, Gombe, Bauchi etc. People visit here mostly traders of sugarcane to purchase sugarcane. The land is one of the fertile land for growing sugarcane, rice and beans.

(Translated by Google) Warm and welcoming atmosphere, like the delicately spicy scent that envelops the whole room. The dishes are few but only one of these is enough for two people. The sesame and pistachio dessert is interesting and the final herbal tea is pleasant, from which the scent that you feel upon entering is probably born. Attentive and kind staff. (Translated by Google) Zighini very good and true, spicy without concessions to us Milanese. Injera clear and subtle, freshly made. For those who appreciate it, to lick their fingers, literally. Traditional Eritrean seats are beautiful but a little uncomfortable: if you have a delicate back, opt for the standard ones. (Original) Zighini buonissimo e verace, piccante senza concessioni a noi milanesi. Injera chiara e sottile, appena fatta. Per chi lo apprezza, da leccarsi le dita, letteralmente. Spectacular. Delicious food, generous portions at unbeatable price and friendly service. Food was savory and we left feeling full. Try the samosas as an entrée. We had beef and chicken as main course, note that they come served as two separate meals so don't stuff yourself in the first round! Don't eat too much bread, which fills you up quickly. Definitely recommend if you're in for a different dining experience or if you simply want to impress your taste buds.

WOW What an amazing restaurant! The staff is absolutely lovely, the oriental decorations are absolutely beautiful! The smell inside of spices is so so good! And the food, OMG their traditional enjera is so amazing! You eat only with your hands and its absolutely amazing. And the prices are really cheap compare to the amount of food (they renew the dishes until you cant eat no more) I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! Cant wait to go back again and again. If you are interested in oriental food and a different dining experience, do yourself a favor and take yourself to this restaurant NOW!

Amazing place it looks like you are in Africa, from the smell of the dishes to the decorations. Personnel very welcoming and food just delicious, very delicious. A bit pricey in my opinion. 3 stars and maybe less only because the next two days we had a very bad stomachache due to the food...

The food was really tasty and really nicely presented. The interior is also beautiful. I also absolutely loved the tea that is included as part of the dining experience. The staff and the owner were very friendly. However, the experience felt a bit rushed, as the tables were overbooked and there were many people waiting for others to finish the meal. Had to finish by the bar, as was asked to leave the table. I liked the overall vibe and dinner, would really recommend the food!

My husband & I recently visited Milan for summer vacation and we had the pleasure of dining at Warsa Restaurant in Milan, Italy, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The cozy ambiance, warm hospitality, and, above all, the mouthwatering Eritrean cuisine made it a truly memorable evening for my husband and me. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine smiles and impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were commendable, as they guided us through the authentic Eritrean dishes and suggested perfect combinations for our meal. The menu at Warsa Restaurant showcased a wide range of traditional Eritrean delicacies, each bursting with unique flavors and vibrant colors. We started our culinary journey with the Zigni, a tender and aromatic beef stew, accompanied by injera, a spongy and tangy flatbread. The combination of flavors was simply divine, and it transported us to the rich culinary heritage of Eritrea. Next, we indulged in the derho, a mouthwatering We also tried the Timtimo, a flavorful lentil stew that left us craving for more. One of the highlights of our meal was the traditional Eritrean tea! Sipping the with water slowly, we savored every moment and enjoyed the sense of community that this ceremony represents. The attention to detail at Warsa Restaurant is truly impressive. The presentation of each dish was visually stunning, reflecting the passion and skill of the talented chefs. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were of the highest quality, making every bite a true delight. Moreover, the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with its cozy seating arrangements and subtle Eritrean decorations, contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable evening. We felt transported to Eritrea, even though we were in the heart of Milan. Overall, Warsa Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided us with an authentic Eritrean dining experience that left us with beautiful memories. If you're looking to embark on a culinary adventure that showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Eritrea, I highly recommend visiting Warsa Restaurant in Milan. You and your husband are in for a treat! Sorry for the endless writing, we’re just so impressed!!! Thank You Warsa!!!

It took half an hour to get the table even though we had reservation. They don't speak English so don't go there unless you speak a little Italian. Waited more than one hour for food and in the end we were charged for things that we didn't ordered. Terrible place to spend your money and time. Just go somewhere else.

Waited for twenty minutes at the door front even though we had reservations. Then after an hour and a half they brought our food. We were two people ordering one plate but they said it’s not possible and we have to order two. Also they charged us for an appetizer we didn’t order, and you have to be careful at the end they don’t charge you for things you didn’t order. Just one person could somewhat speak English. Generally not satisfied.

Beautiful African restaurant in the best district of Milan. It was my first time eating Eritrean food, and this was amazingly tasty plus I love that you share it and eat it with hands. Two things are that it was a little bit pricier than I thought, and the guy got confused with the starters so I got a meat one while I'm a vegetarian. But really good overall, I'd come back.

Such authenticity in the middle of Porta Venezia. The beauty of the space is hidden inside with beautiful cultural decorations. The food is amazing and very much, we ordered for 4 and struggled to finish all with the meat, the sauces and the complementary snacks, and it’s all with hands! Lovely atmosphere, the problem would be the lack of service inside, when we got in, we weren’t guided in the most helpful way and it took us a while to order, but they were polite. The price is definitely worth the size and the taste but its weird that everyone needs to pay for one so you can’t share the price. I would recommend for a change of culture.
