We were skeptical about going to a Michelin star Japanese restaurant in Milan... Luckily, IYO did not disappoint. Our only complaints were they could've included some uni or have better, quality cuts for their nigiri selection. Other than that, we thoroughly loved the wagyu tartare and their concept of squid noodles with caviar. Furthermore, service was top notch. We felt taken care of the whole time.

We experienced an incredible tasting menu. Presentations, taste, service are simply perfect. I will recommend it to all my friends who will come to Milan.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We visited a while back to celebrate last New Year’s Eve and also my birthday and the whole experience was fabulous. We had the NYE degustation menu which consisted of incredible dishes. Perhaps the one dish which greatly stood out was the tuna belly & roe which was so delicious. The service was impeccable and the staff also treated us all to a little fireworks show when the clock stroke midnight! 10/10 - Well done to all for the great experience!

One of the best Michelin star experience. This place is a must go if you're in Milan. I would really appreciate the chef and the staff. The service was on point and they never gave us a chance to complain about anything. The food was out of the world and taste pallets were unique. I was constantly awestruck and surprised at the dishes. The desserts were tremendously curated and crafted to sheer perfection. I would not hesitate to go here again. Samurai sticks is highly recommended

We went there for dinner and were very happy we chose this place. The food was very good, very worth the price. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I recommend this place to anyone, especially the nigiri with toro and wagyu. Would love to come there again and try the other things we didn’t get to try!

Simply amazing. Michelin starred restaurant 🌸 actually, not a restaurant, rather a sensory experience. Atmosphere makes it perfect for different occasions, as for business, or with friends, in couples. Service is precise and attentive. Dishes are extremely tasty and the flavours combination is refined and unusual. Of course presented to perfection. Highly recommended! :)

Great for a special occasion and intimate dinner. Elegant and modern interior design. We loved that there was a set menu with creative fusion food or a la carte with more traditional Japanese. Service is good but could be more attentive - seemed to be a lot of running past our table but our empty dishes sat in front of us for a while.

Absolutely mind blowing experience and amazing time here for New Year’s Eve. The staff were all great and the tasting menu was some of the best food we’ve ever had, as was the wine suggestion. This is more like a two Michelin starred restaurant.

Every time we come to Milano, we come here. And every time, it doesn’t disappoint. Attentive service, incredible sushi, the hamachi was really the best - like butter! We liked it even more than the toro. Highly recommend it to any sushi lover! Also I think they were just awarded a Michelin star, and I think they really deserve it! ⭐️

Iyo is expensive. But worth every bit of it. We arrived an hour late, on a Sunday evening, but they were gracious and accommodating. Even though the restaurant is quite busy and fairly large, it is partitioned into small areas that seem very intimate. Our wait staff was superb. They were all friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We had the Omakase for three adults and ala carte for our young daughter. The entire meal took almost three hours! It was absolutely worth the time. Everything was delectable, without a single off note. I wish there was more sushi - as is typical with an Omakase, there was only one sushi course. It was exceptional. Each course was complimented by the next course. Sometimes when there are many courses they become disjointed and jarring. The meal, here, was completely delightful.

Fantastic Japanese restaurant in the heart of Milan that offers something different than the other Michelin choices. Dishes are creative, seasonal, and stay true to their central Japanese theme. Good selection of sake and Japanese liquor as well. Service was good.

I enjoyed this gastronomic experience, but I expected more. The dishes are delicious, the ingredients are very high quality, but if you are looking for something unusual, I would not recommend this restaurant. But this is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Milan! We tried the tasting menu, our favorite was the third course with squid and egg, it was really interesting! The service is excellent, the atmosphere is calm.

A restaurant that gives an unforgettable experience! An amazing experience of dishes that are beautiful to the eye and of course delicious. Very high level service. It is important to book in advance (I booked two months in advance). I took the tasting portion. I added the wagyu portion which is an extra charge. Fair value for the price. Priced according to a Michelin restaurant.

I absolutely adore this sushi restaurant in Milan! The quality and freshness of the sushi here are outstanding. Every time I come here, I’m impressed by the variety of sushi rolls. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover. An absolute must-visit if you’re in Milan!

As a person who owns a fish shop I was completely surprised by the freshness of the fish without a doubt the most delicious sushi I've ever had I'm sure you'll get the second star soon well done to you for everything you were perfect

Amazing experience! We had a chef set and it was spectacular! Very interesting combination of flavors as well as a whole set concept. I would recommend it for anyone who is into the great food exploratory experience.

As expected, in this caliber of places, the service was impeccable. Greeted by professional staff, waited on with such attention to detail, and tended to your every need. The atmosphere is just right with dim lights, nice decor, and subtle Asian aesthetics. Each dish that arrived on our table was explained in detail with suggestions on how to eat it (by hand, cutlery, or chopsticks). We tried the tasting menu which was a 9-course meal carefully curated to make you experience an explosion of flavors and storytelling with every bite. Accompanied by a nice bottle of white wine, the meal was exquisite and is a must-try for a nice occasion.

The best rolls we had to date, fantastic atmosphere, the temperature inside is just right - not too hot, not too cold. Great place, we are coming again for sure!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The price is also somewhat reasonable given this is a Michelin starred establishment. We went for lunch and ordered the set menu for €120 pp. Out of the 10 dishes served, 1 was pretty disappointing (tasted like cold instant noodles) and another was average (ricotta hand roll of some sort). Their tuna nigiri and hand rolls were the best dishes we tried, alongside the beef tartare. Other dishes were also delicious but those were the standouts. I’d definitely go again if I was in Milan, but I’d probably order a la carte to ensure all the dishes are to my liking. Also, if you do not enjoy seafood, definitely do not get the set menu as most of the dishes have fish in them.

Extraordinary. Great menu beyond raw fish and sushi. Staff extremely kind and attentive. Natural wines and small producers are part of the wine pairing menu.

Came here on a date for my birthday. We had to book around 2 weeks in advance and could only get lunch. The design was wonderful, with a mix of industrial and modern. The staff was kind and made sure someone who spoke English could help us despite us able to understand Italian (all-be-it by struggling) which was appreciated. We tried the 9 course meal and everything was delicious as we expected. Would recommend for those who can afford it or would like to treat themselves. I've attached images of our entire meal. One thing of note that was appreciated was the waiter explaining how the food was supposed to be enjoyed ie. With hands, chopsticks or knife and fork.

Incredibly good food and excellent service - haven't had such an amazing dining experience for a long time. Lots of glutenfree and lactose free choices. Super high quality ingredients. Exciting flavors and textures. Food presentation at the highest level. Spotless bathroom that is regularly cleaned. The waiters anticipated all our needs. And the receptionist handed us the correct jackets without asking. Iyo is from now on a "must" dining destination for me when in Milan.

The staff is very kind, the the tasting menu was good too but comparing to other fine dining restaurants I have been I find Iyo overpriced considering the taste of food served.

Iyo offers delicious artfully presented sushi with service that doesn't quite match. We tried one of the Omakase menus. Each dish looked and tasted better than the last and lived up to expectations. Service was a bit slow and the somm didn't have a good grasp of the sake they offered. Still a fantastic experience.

I loved the ambience and the discrete presence of the team even in a moment of defiance! Food was good quality and very well presented. I expected a little less fusion but is my taste.

Very elegant and modern place this restaurant is the apex for sushi lovers. The personnel is very professional and helps you understand the various choices of the menu. The food is spectacular and refined. For a full immersion in this experience I recommend the tasting menu’s choices

Great environment and friendly staff. However, I don't think the quality of food justifies the Michelin star pricing. Each piece of nigiri is fairly small and they didn't put wasabi under the fish, as what you've expected from most of the professional sushi chef. Also, the eel was overcooked and slightly burned. The toro as a main course did not come with any side.
