It is a very good restaurant to have your lunch and all. A little bit costly, but it is a best place if you are in a hurry to eat. Food provided are very good and fresh. The restaurant stuffs are very gentle and friendly. You can have your lunch and evening snacks here. Best place to eat. The place is hygenic and the covid 19 rules are followed by them properly. I must say that you will love it. Eat, enjoy and repeat.😍

Very tasty food and very reasonable

Can't express my feelings right now. Seriously the taste of those heavenly foods provided by them was yummyliously awesome...unless and until you taste those you can't imagine the taste...my humble request to all the foodie genius to spend at least one visit and enrich your taste buds with these foods. ...the behavior of the staff is just superb.🙏 ...and one more thing, the BEST one which I liked most of them is they have kept some small small wooden structures just below the transparent dining top that highlighting our Assamese Culture superbly...check my photos for that.!!😇 Glad to spent few hours of my life at this spot. Worst restaurant. First of all, the prices of items are very much as compared to their quantity. Because, the quantity is very less, very very less. Secondly, the staff here are very annoying, they frequently visit you to ask you order something more ! Really annoying. Moreover, as the food prices are too much and quantity is also less, but the taste is also not good. Most of the dishes are very spicy. Lastly, they serve soft drinks also. But, the soft drinks are like diluted, or mixed with cold water.

Best interiors to set vibes and increase temptation but fail to serve the matching Axomia Dishes. There is a lot more scope to improve quality, quantity and service time at least to respect people's effort on reaching the 2nd floor by staircase!

Very much pleased with the quality of service along with taste. Prompt and homely. You lay your choices they will serve accordingly! First experience was amazing. Looking for next visit soon.

Went to this beautiful eatery yesterday with my friend.. and I must say it's fantastically good.. scrumptious food, warm ambience, and the menu diverse enough with the benefits of assamese cuisine. Also, the staff were extremely polite, very very well behaved and respectful towards us. Tezpur deserves such a place and I am happy to have gone there. Previously I ordered food but that was for home delivery (delivery is free). Moreover, they give discounts to students with valid ID cards, isn't that great? Overall, I am very satisfied, pleased and wouldn't think twice about visiting again. P.S - The urban shack menu has been updated.

Cool and nice Assamese ambience with humble and experienced staff. Everyone working here has prior experience of working in big restaurants in Delhi, Mumbai and other big cities. Bamboo art gives this place it's own texture. Food is of very wide range and is prepared by experienced chefs. From sharks, parrot fish and other exotic dishes to legit north Indian paneer dishes for vegetarians, this place has no match when it comes to the range and quality of dishes they serve here.

The ambience of the place is pleasant and food is good too. Not so crowded.

Worst experience ever. I wonder how they got such high ratings. I don’t mind waiting for food because I believe if the food is good then it taking a few extra time is no biggie. However everything from the quality of their food to their hospitality to sum it up sucked. Naan was like roti, dal makhani was like gajar ka halwa, and so was matar paneer. It barely had any paneer tbh. When I complained about the quality of their food, they insisted that the food is supposed to be that tacky. The staff members also murmured amongst themselves, pushing the blame on each other. Them frowning with the customers complaining about them not doing their job right was hilarious. Save your time and money and eat somewhere else where you don’t have to pay for just sitting for more than an hour.

Food was somewhat good but management was very poor. We booked tables for 20 persons 2/3 days prior to a birthday party, yet they messed up. Service is needed to be improved.

I have visited many restaurants in Tezpur, but I must say this is a place where I got delicious food. The interiors are very unique. Apart from the food the staff behaviour is too good.

The food was smelling very bad. It was most probably food cooked 2-3 days earlier. Quality is very poor. Rice smells like rotten. Pathetic experience. Not at all professionals. Don't visit this place. It was a horrible experience. They don't even have proper cooks for the items they offer. Very dirty place. Even animals can't eat the food. "VERY DIRTY AND WORST FOOD, DON'T VISIT" FOOD SAFETY DEPARTMENT SHOULD EXAMINE THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD.

The service was so poor.... We ordered 3 very normal item and they took 45min+ to serve food and the food was below average nothing special..I think they should try to improve their services and become efficient the only this good about the place was the ambience.

Today I ordered Chicken Do Pyaza from Zomato and this was my 1st order from urban shack. I paid around 320 for which they provided only 2 small piece of chicken.Thank God I got to know the Food quality & especially quantity before I go there for dine in. Not gonna visit for dine in for sure.

I am someone who always prefers good food over ambience. I do not care much how the ambience is, give me food that tastes good and I'm all in, even if it costs more, the food should be worth it. I won't say the food was bad here, but it was TOO average. Ordered 4 different gravies (2 chicken, 2 paneer) and all of that tasted almost the same, wasn't even close to the actual authentic dish they were calling it. Also, the naan was pretty hard. Rest, the ambience, service, employee behaviour is pretty good, the only thing they lack is good food, funny that it should be the best department actually being a restaurant.

First and foremost taste of food was not good, it took an unusual long time to serve. In any type of biriyani, adding small grain of rice on top of chicken curry in a bowl makes it a biriyani! Please tell your cook to learn first.
