I brought some ornaments from them for my wedding and during the rush time I kept the jewelleries in a seperate box .The neckpiece and bangle turned black within two months ..When I took it to the shop for cleaning as I had warranty of 1 yr they had to do it for free..The owner started to shout at me like anything instead of solving my problem she kept shouting and saying mean things. At last when I asked for solution then I was helped.She is an extremely rude lady ..I just want to say that change your behaviour or you will keep losing customers ..as most of the Google reviews are regarding her bad behaviour .

Absolute Thugs...bought this set from Zangfai at Rs. 6500 whereas it cost Rs. 4500 at Doogdugi...never visit this store..all items are over priced with nonsensical explanations.

Assamese ornaments are nice and prices are reasonably affordable. The best thing is the behavior of the shopkeeper. A good discount is always there

I visited this store on December 2021. There were very less collection at that time although it was wedding season. Even the collections which were there, it was not shining at all. I don't know about customized order, but if you are visiting this store then you will be disappointed because this store used to be so much good in collection.

I must appreciate that as a designer and proprietor of Zangfai I did not expect her to be so involved with the customers in her shop. But she indeed takes time to explain and show the products in her shop. The shop is spacious, clean and most products are beautifully displayed. It’s not just a good place to buy jewellery but I think it’s a great business model as well. But of course, it’s common knowledge that it’s tad overpriced. So for that I can’t give it a full 5 star. Overall, it was a nice experience there. All the best. 🙂

I ordered multi colour mantasa on 12/01/2023. It's size was to be reduced. But they delivered it on 27/02/2023. They too didn't do any size reduction. Upon enquiring, they were too adamant to admit their mistakes. Worst experience. I bought other items from other store itself.

This is perhaps the best place in Guwahati to buy traditional Assamese jewellery. The place has a nice collection of various types of traditional jewellery made out of Assamese raw gold. Traditional gold plated jewellery is also available. The jewellery comes with a lifetime warranty. Nice place for wedding gifts and for people who want to take some traditional jewellery as souvenir.

Zangfai is an outlet specialized in Assamese ethnic jewelry. Assamese ethnic jewelry has its own glamour and attracts some discerning customers of class. I am amazed with the range of collection and competitive price point. Behaviour of staff is appreciated. Shall visit again.

I bought some jewellery for my mum here, it broke and I went to let them fix it. They exchanged the necklace chain, even though that wasn’t broken. When I asked why, the owner got very rude with me. Even telling me, because I am a foreigner I don’t know how things are done here and I shouldn’t complain. They refused to give me a reason. She even said about her own jewellery, it’s only cheap stuff so I don’t need to wonder why it broke.
