👍👍 We cycled from Assisi to Spello to see yet another amazing and incredibly well preserved and fortified hill town. The electric bicycles we hired were amazing. Spello is a little less tourist oriented and well worth a visit.

👍 Okay, I’m a history nerd, so I really liked seeing this gate of three arches because it was restored and you can see what Roman architecture looked like when it was newer. Very cool.

👍 While the church interior does not stand out among many splendid Italian churches, the frescoes are rather special. Its especially nice to see them in full in the church, rather than fragments in the museum.
