Oh what a buzzy eatery in an otherwise sleepy coastal Oregon town. We arrived in Cannon Beach at 8 on a Sunday to realize literally no dinner options open. Took a chance to dine at a brewery and we were not disappointed! First, their beer flights are awesome! Both flavor, taste and quantity - very good value for money. Interesting appetizers followed, in good portions, gastropub style. The dinner was good but could’ve been better. The fish and steak looked over cooked. The servers were of of course very friendly, prompt and had great recommendations. Overall I’ll rate this place a solid 4+, hope you have a good time too.

Super awesome spot. Family and I came to visit from Washington on the way to Waldport. Saw this location via pictures and it is even more beautiful in person. Came around 0130 for a late lunch and were pretty full for a week day. Wait was about an hour but got us in in 30 which was awesome. Beer flight is a must have. Flight came with 8 standard Pelican Brewing beers which were delicious. Also got the pulled pork mac and cheese and the smoked tri tip. It was absolutely delicious. A little more pricey than your standard brew pub but the food delivers for the price. Definitely upscale pub food. Our waiter Ed was amazing. Always was there with fast service and recommendations. We will definitely tell our friends of this spot if in the area. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for a quick dinner before we went to Cannon Beach. We had the fish and chips, and it was pretty good. The service was fast as well. Not sure why everything is priced so high. This is supposed to be brewery food and not fine dining!

This was our first time in Cannon Beach and stopped at the pelican brewing company. The beer selection of their own brews was excellent a wide variety and delicious. The food was amazing for each of us and the service was excellent. I am so thankful that I live only 15 minutes from there and will make a return trip soon!

Discovering Pelican Brewing Co. was a delightful experience. Their clam chowder was absolutely wonderful, and even for someone who doesn't typically drink beer, I found their offerings to be quite enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely, relaxed conversation, this spot offers a fantastic setting. It's a hidden gem for those seeking good food, great beer, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Despite a long wait for a table, our service was great - Daniel was so fun and attentive. A large group for dinner but the highlights were the Brie and Bacon Flatbread, Tsunami Burger and Fish and Chips. An extra beer flight was made on accident for a table and Daniel offered it to us. We were finishing dinner and were pretty full but still enjoyed the free beer.

This brewery is walkable from cannon beach, it way too near. Its a must visit place if you are along the coastal road (US101) It requires reservations, only acceptable in person reservations. Ambience is amazing and I love their flatbread (pizzas) and I didn’t like their fish and chips since fish had a very thick batter. Rest all is good. It had both outdoor and indoor seating too. They have their own merchants and they do sell their canned brewery. We had a amazing time here and good food and good vibes. People come here and celebrate their bday and stuff and restaurant is clean and neat. There are many branches all over the coastal road, I don’t this one in cannon beach is main branch. But if you are in cannon beach then this place is a must visit. People are very welcoming and good. They addressed few of our issues without any obligation. I will for sure visit here again, hoping to have a good brewery and food again.

Everything about this place was awesome. We visited twice during our stay in Cannon Beach. My family is from New England so I’m used to good clam chowder BUT I have to say that Pelican’s clam chowder was the best I’d ever had!! The fish & chips were light and delicious too. Great variety of beer. This place is a must visit!!!

Beers good and the service was good….the food was very average. They can’t cook salmon. Mine was extremely over cooked. Fish tacos should be another pass. We did enjoy the calamari with the peppers blended in. Our server said the beer flight was bartender’s choice. We wanted to pick ours so we could get all the beers that aren’t normally available in the store. We gambled and said ok. Well, 6 out of 8 beers were their normal staples and only 2 were legit seasonal choices. Nothing was bartenders choice because the flight rack was pre-labeled. Very disappointed.

I ordered take out for my daughter and myself. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich without the spicy aoli, no onions, no pickles. Then the strawberry rhubarb crisp and house salad. I get home with the food and her sandwich had the spicy aoli and the strawberry rhubarb crisp looked disgusting and barely any. So I called and after holding for 15 minutes they said they were sorry and would remake it. Went over the order again with them. Drive back there again pick up the "correct" food and take it back to my daughter. Now they did leave off what we asked but also left off the cheese. 🙄😒 At this point it is late and so she just eats it. However no discount was offered for my extra time and gas AND it was once again made incorrect. We will NOT be back. Staff was polite but the kitchen was unable to prepare food properly. Also ...I'm adding a picture of her dessert that cost $12!!!! For barely anything.

Great brewery spot to stop & grab food near Cannon Beach. Their oyster shooters are big! They also have happy hour, which includes quite a few food items along with drinks.

The food is average and a little pricey, but the ambiance, service, and beer are great! We ordered roughly 10 items in one go, but the waiter didn't write anything, yet he brought everything right for each person on the table (at the right seat). Tipped him extra for his memory and making the experience great 👍 Visit here for some drinks if you are going to Canon Beach! Cheers 🍻

We arrived during the afternoon rush and had about a 10 minute wait, really not bad at all considering how busy the establishment looked. The fish and chips were cooked well, with a panko type crust it was a new take that I had not seen before. My wife got a burger which she enjoyed. There are several beers to choose from on the drink menu. Probably the only downside was our server was impaired and it showed in the level of service. He reeked of marijuana and was forgetful to the point of annoyance.

The review for this brewing was pending for quite sometime from me. I like their variety of beers and the way they present it in the samplers. Food is good. Its quite popular place to hangout for food and drinks in Oregon near Oregon beach. We didn't get the spot for the first time and had to visit next time around. Its really worth it to dine here and staff is lovely in presenting the menu. Highly recommended.

Solid food choice at Cannon Beach. Nice to see a place here that doesn't take reservations, so you can actually walk up when you are hungry and get on the wait list. Servers are nice, and attentive as possible, despite how busy it is. Dinner on labor day is probably one of the busiest days of the year for them. Despite that, our server did his best to take care of us. Atmosphere is loud. Like really loud. But that has more to do with the popularity of the place and the fact it was Labor Day I think. Food was tasty, and we left full and happy!

Cannon beach Pelican Brewing was by far the best experience I have had at a Pelican Brewing. Very fast and fresh! Gluten free options! Our bartender Lexi was awesome. Food was delicious, beers and bloody Mary's hit the spot.

The best Steamer clams I’ve ever had. The clam chowder was delicious but I could’ve eaten 2 bowls of the steamer clams on my own. I was in heaven. Our server was awesome and so were all the staff. My only regret was that I was driving and couldn’t try the beer. 😢 A great place to grab some delicious food if you’re in Cannon beach.

I got here around 9pm for a dinner. I got a tri-tip sandwich on a recommendation from a couple down at Haystack. The meat was a little dried out, but I did get there pretty late. I would have appreciated a little extra sauce to make up for that. Be warned that the blue cheese dressing is vinegar based. It was pretty tasty but definitely not what I was expecting. Overall, I will go back, but earlier in the day.

Definitely a quaint place. Prices are a little higher than I expected BUT it was all tasty and the drinks went down smooth. Clean and friendly. Just a few steps to the beach. Cozy fire pit outside was inviting. Would go back again.

I appreciate a place that serves food that has flavor and flare. The service was friendly, and we were seated fairly quickly during one of their busiest windows. I highly recommend the seafood pasta for those who want a boost of organic seasonings with fresh seafood.

We actually ate here twice during our trip! This has a much different feel than a local spot but the food was delicious! Be sure to get the clam chowder, it was ridiculously good. The dessert however aren’t worth it so skip those and get ice cream at a local spot instead.

Very delicious. The wait was not that long. Servers and hosts were nice and polite. Food was very good. The dessert was well sized for two people. Pizza was well sized too and crunchy. Beer was light and good. Merch is pretty, but quite expensive. Overall great and Antonia was a lovely and attentive server.

This experience started off poor. When we walked in he told us our wait would not even be 5 minutes, almost 15 minutes later we were seated. We ordered the fish and chips with a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder had good flavor but the clam meat was chewy. I like fries hot and crispy, these were warm and soft. The batter on the fish was very good but the fish didn't have much flavor.

Visiting Cannon Beach for the day, my son and I decided on dinner at Pelican. We ordered the beer flight and were very happy with it. The variety of beer was fabulous and we both ordered an additional pint after we tried the flight, they were so delicious! I highly recommend the "Rasberried At Sea" if you like fruity, and the "Tsunami" for a dark chocolate espresso flavor (see photos). The food was okay, but not outstanding in my opinion. The portions are average and the flavors ok. Prices are a little high, but I suppose that's just about everywhere now! The service was warm and friendly and our server was great about checking in at the right times! Definitely will go back.

Pelican Brewery offers a oceanic journey. Their Fish and Chips exuded classic crunch, but the real gem was the Dungeness Crab Mac & Cheese - a delightful fusion of luscious creaminess and oceanic zest. The Crusted Salmon, impeccably prepared, melted with each bite. The Raspberried draft beer added a fruity, crisp balance to our hearty dishes. A feast for those with a penchant for oceanic delights!

We walked in and requested near the window, and we got our request. We had our lunch, and it was good. We had Pork Belly Banh mi, Fish and chips, a cheeseburger, and a clam chowder. We also had fried onion rings for appetizers. The restaurant is just near the beach. At this time, it was windy and raining, and it was cold. They had plenty of parking. Our visit was on Friday, December. Our server was quick and patient with us.

My husband and I came for happy hour and got the burger and mini fish and chips. We weren’t impressed with either, unfortunately. The burger was pretty flavorless and the fish was rubbery. However, the beer flight was awesome and the staff were super friendly. I would come back to hang out and have a few beers, and maybe try something else on the menu.

The restaurant is well located in town but about two blocks from the beach, which makes it a great place for a meal after spending time at the beach. The 14 hour slow smoked tri-tip was tender and delicious! While the salmon was nicely seasoned and tasty. The beers were okay not too impressive; therefore a four stars.

Delicious! We sat at the bar since we didn't want to wait for a table, but the chairs were super comfortable and the atmosphere was great. The bar service was amazing too! The beer flight was a delicious choice, and we had the buffalo wings (so good, not overly spicy), crab Rangoon dip (SOOOO GOOD), and berry cake with vanilla tilamook ice cream (a great dessert to end the night). Overall a very good dinner, and I was happy to spend a few hours there on a rainy weekday evening! Also ran into a few elk on the walk back to the hotel, so a great night!
