I'm a Korean. This hotel is run by a very lovely and friendly family. You may feel the warmth and coziness of visiting your aunt's house rather than a hotel. Breakfast is home-cooked, and the fried eggs and omelet made by the grandmother are very delicious. If I come to Granada again I will stay again.

Kitchen insider don't rate no hotels. Well, evidently I do. This place is such a find. More boxes ticked than an Amazon sorting centre. The atmosphere is period, but the bits that we want contemporary are there...big, heavy cotton towels are just the start of the practical, without being chic rooms. There really is nothing that can be said these rooms, staff or breakfast lack. Sure, it's not the Ritz, and the brekkie is rudimentary...but all the elements are in better shape than Shakira. The fruit at breakfast is all ripe and quality. It's a small plus, but unusual enough at 3* hotels to be worth mentioning. And eat the breakfast cake...its as delicious as your memory of whatever it was that your grandmother could actually cook well. The staff are accommodating to the point of embarrassment. Stay here. It's great.

We had a truly wonderful experience with Ingo and the team at Hotel Santa Isabel la Real. Ingo provided tons of wonderful recommendations to explore the city, and we came home every evening (and afternoon, siesta was key) to a comfortable, charming, safe and exceptionally clean room with gorgeous views over Granada. Could not ask for anything more - we will absolutely return, and highly recommend!

In short: my worst hotel experience so far. I picked this hotel as I wanted a good morning view to the Alhambra. I booked 2 nights Aug 30th to Sep 1st through Chase Travel network. I payed fully and got a booking confirmation number. So all was good. On the afternoon of Wednesday Aug 30th, I landed in Granada, took a taxi from airport straight to the hotel. When I reached the hotel I saw the door was closed. I knocked on the main door several times no answer. On the door they put several phone numbers so I started calling each number one by one. All the numbers did not ring at all except the one highlighted in Yellow. It rang and I was able to hear it ringing from inside the hotel building but no one was picking up. Mind you this was about 11:45 PM afternoon and it was very hot outside. I was standing there in that stranded street with my luggage and with only have a bottle of water. The street is a narrow isolated street on the top of the hill and there is no shops or open hotels nearby that I can see. After about 45 minutes of knocking on door and ringing their phones I called my bank Chase to help me find another hotel immediately. I was standing in the heat with very bad signal, barely was able to reach my bank. I stayed with the bank on the phone for about an hour. After multiple tryouts, they were able to help and found me another hotel of 12 minutes walking distance (thankfully down the road not climbing up since I have luggage). After I checked in to the new hotel I called my bank to file a complaint and asked for full refund of my booking with hotel Santa Isabel la Real. I was livid. I basically lost 2 hours of my prime daytime tourist trip, and was stranded under the Sun for no reason. My bank did not know why the hotel was close during midday and midweek but still accepts accepts bookings!!! but thankfully eventually I did get a full refund. People, this was my story so if you still wanna book with them the MAKE SURE you call them first otherwise you might lose your money and time.

We had a wonderful stay here in August. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored by the family who run it. The breakfast was first class with home made honey, yoghurt and delicious bread. Lola and her mother are wonderful hosts. If you can, book direct with them as it makes a big difference.

Magical historic house in the heart of the lovely alleys of the Albeicin district. So quiet and comfortable after the busy streets outside. Host is very welcoming and you get a full orientation of Granada. The bus to the Alhambra stops right outside the door. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, we are so glad that we stayed here and would certainly recommend it.

If you’re in Granada, you must book this charming boutique hotel. With just 11 rooms, you receive personalized attentive service and care. My friend and I stayed in Rooms 4 & 5 (5 is the superior room with a patio, while 4 is smaller with just a window), but we were welcomed to feel at home on the entire property, and we certainly did! Ingo checked us in, made us feel so welcome, and gave us recommendations for restaurants and bars. Lola welcomed us at breakfast buffet, offered to make eggs, and we were able to check out her beautifully curated art store nearby (I purchased some of her original art). We made use of the tea and coffee station throughout the day. The famous San Nicholas look out is just a short walk away and there is a bus stop right by the entrance to the hotel. Wi-Fi isn’t the strongest in the rooms, but I was able to log in on my work laptop and check emails daily. The beds are incredibly comfortable and everything is immaculately clean. The night before we checked out, Ingo booked us a taxi for an early morning ride to the train station and made sure to set up a to-go breakfast bag for us. The location of the hotel can’t be beat, the hosts are incredibly hospitable and accommodating, and it’s simply beautiful. Hotel Santa Isabel La Real already has me planning my next trip back to Granada!

A family owned and administered business. Very beautiful and clean. Right in the center of everything. Breakfast was a delight and they make their own yogurt and marmalade’s. I will definitely stay there again!

The building itself is so beautiful, old but very well maintained gem! The lobby is a must see, could sit there for hours just watching. Ingo is a great host, so welcoming and helpful. Stayed there with my gf during a road trip, they also offer a parking place just next to the hotel. Right in the centre of the old town of Granada, great stay!

This is a very belated review but we stayed here a couple of years ago and it was one of the nicest little hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was lovely, really clean and the staff went above and beyond in helping up with printing and some paperworks issues which needed to be sorted while we were on holiday. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very Spacious room , super comfy bed, good shower, and welcoming hosts. Don't know what else we could have wanted. Take bus 32 from town or to the Alhambra.

Loved this accommodation. Friendly helpful staff who gave good directions which made finding this b n b easier. Lovely view of Alhambra from our room. Lots of books and information on local attractions available in Sitting room plus tea and coffee in public areas which was much appreciated.

One of my favorite hotels in Spain. Our experience in Granada was exceptional due to the care and service provided by this hotel. They helped us book tickets to Alhambra and accommodated our entire family. There is no better place to stay. I wish we could return every year.

Super cute hotel! If you don't have a direct view of Alhambra, there's a great lookout close by. This hotel is a little out of the way, as in not close to the train station, but there's restaurants & a market close by. The staff was friendly and the hotel clean & well-kept. I'd happily stay there again.

Nice family managed, friendly staff, small Hotel in old typical house, homemade breakfast and parking available. Location in nice neighborhood. Point to improve would be the bed mattress, which was hard and our airconditioning made funny noise at night. Overall a good option to stay and enjoy the beutiful city of Granada. :)

Fantastic traditional small hotel, right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are very well appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good with a lot on offer being organic and homemade.
