My wife and I had a disappointing experience. Casa bombo is located in the centre of the old town, which is not accessible by taxi, so we were entirely dependent on their own mini van, which arrived 40 min late. If you've got luggage, you need this service but it adds another 30 euro to the cost. We were booked for three days and wanted to leave a day early because of the cold and rain. Despite giving a days notice, we were charged for full three days. I wouldn't go back.

Casa Bombo was absolutely perfect. Beautiful views of La Alhambra and the old city. The price is fantastic for the quality. Very relaxing environment. Spanish breakfast available every morning with delicious coffee and a refrigerator available to all guests. The staff were charming and attentive to our every need. Saw a variety of guests including family, friends and couples. I would also go here if I were traveling solo as there are many social venues to visit in El Albaicin where you'd still be able to interact with other young travelers. Definitely a unique experience given the location of the place . It's an adventure navigating El Albaicin and holds a bit of mystery in the small winding streets where cars cannot access. The isolation from modern roads allowed us to escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Very accessible to La alhambra and local restaurants. My favorite part of Casa Bombo was the common area/patio. I really enjoyed lounging on the patio especially at night.

Casa Bombo has a very edgy, modern Moroccan/Arabic vibe inside and a spectacular view of the Alhambra outside. The rooms are pretty affordable for Granada and there is something for everyone, with dorms from 16 euro to private rooms with a jacuzzi. I stayed in a dorm and it was very comfortable -- really cool art deco vibe. A buffet breakfast every morning is included and for 6 euro you can also have dinner and a drink with everyone -- one night Andres (the owner) made a traditional Italian lasagne. I felt very welcomed and everyone was really friendly. The free walking tour was also quite good and we got amazing views up near the caves at sunset. If you like a clean house, modern vibe and open and easygoing people, this is the place!

A lovely small hotel in a wonderful location. Stayed for just one night on the way to a stay in the high Alpajarras. It would have merited a longer stay in its own right. An incredible location, high in the Albayzín district, and the patio overlooks the Alhambra, particularly spectacular at night. The hotel has a boutique feel to it. High point, breakfast on the patio in the early summer sunshine, shaded by a walnut tree, overlooking the city and Alhambra. Was a real pain to find!

This place is absolutely magic and perfect. Location couldn't be better and staff was amazing.

It has always been my dream to come to Spain. I absolutely loved my room. It had an amazing view of the Alhambra. The staff is awesome! I bought a glass of wine from casa bombo and drank it on the terrace. The view is fantastic. I'm a solo female traveler and had anxiety about traveling by myself. I want to say thank you to the staff for making me feel so comfortable and making my stay one I will not forget. Hasta Luego Casa Bombo!

What made this place was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful but in a kind way. Nothing was too much trouble. It would have been all 5 stars except for a slight niggle about the pillows which were not comfortable. They were over stuffed! Apart from that it was perfect 👌

Super sweet hotel with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the hospitality ends at the moment of checkout and payment. We would have liked to spend 1-2 hours on the terrace after checkout since our flight was going later in the day. But we were told to vacate the premises with the explanation that new guests would soon arrive. Although I can of course understand that guests should not endlessly extend their stay in the shared areas, a bit more flexibility would have been nice. In the end, we didn't feel welcome and I felt like ever hostel a hundred euros cheaper and every hotel more expensive would've handled the situation much better.

Casa Bombo is a really wonderful place to stay at, beautiful view of the Alhambra from the terrasse, comfortable and spacious rooms (I really liked the shower!), and Teresa and Andrea are such lovely and caring people who made us feel right at home! :) Andrea even managed to help us get last minute tickets to go and visit the Alhambra, which would have been a shame if we had not done that... ;) Also the surrounding area is really nice, Andrea recommend an awesome Flamenco show we went to watch.

A beautiful spot! The view is so amazing and the staff very kind and helpfull! If you want to live the grenada experience totally, this is a must! Near all the beauty of grenada. Thanks a lot Casa Bombo!

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Bombo and highly recommend this place. The view and terrace are beautiful, the rooms are clean and bright, beds were comfortable and the food was delicious. Also, the service was the best we’ve ever experienced. Carlos was friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Thank you Casa Bombo!

Peaceful, discrete, simple and unbeatable views of the Alhambra.

Incredible place! Charming and with a very friendly and helpfull staff! Easy to find with maps and the view is something incredible, same view from viewpoints but without crowd. Breakfast is also very rich and Spanish which is the most important. I will always come back!

Best location we had on our trip in the area! Staff is super helpful, really nice rooms, insane view on Alhambra, great terrace and regally good breakfast. We recommend to reach out before your stay, if you come by car. staff can reserve a parking and pick you up with the luggage 👍

A simple hotel with breathtaking views ... An earlier review described Casa Bombo as an “hostel for adults”, which indeed describes it very well. The rooms are not flash, with the odd broken fitting, etc. However, it is very charming, in a superb location (as long as you are happy and able to carry suitcases or packs). And the views are absolutely breathtaking. Please note some of the things mentioned in earlier reviews appear not to be available anymore - for example, no dinner is available. However there are charming bars 5 minutes away and the city centre another 5 (going down). If you can, take the room with the private terrace!

Lovely staff, easy check in and incredible views. The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was delicious. Next time I'm in Granada, I'll definitely be staying again.

Great little hotel with the most magnificent and stunning view! Staff is really friendly and give great tips on restaurants. Want to exclaim that the view is stunning(!) and that you should def enjoy breakfast outside

Very courteous and helpful staff! Great rooms and terrace view. Would highly recommend. Parking is off-site but a van can pick you up from parking spot -10 mins away.

Everything was good. But it would be better if they had told us pickup service from airport to hotel will be charged. We didn't know it costs 40 euro(in my memory) cause nobody had informed us before. We just thought their welcoming service due to their location. Anyway, we had to pay sudden extra charge we haven't expected during checkout. Apart from that, our day in Casa bombo was all great!
