Clean store, nice employees. Only issue i see is curbside pickup orders have customers drinking water stored outside under the sun and in 100+ degree temperatures. This is surely going to lead to health concerns. - In response to your comment HEB; “if you would like for us to look into this further give us a call” How about you do your job instead of having a citizen do it for you? Iv done my part and gone out of my way to help you by bringing up an unsafe practice to your attention and you want me to spend more time and go out of my way to have you “look into it further”? Do your job HEB and stop playing games. It’s not my job to point out your inability to properly serve customers and it’s surely not my job to follow up with you to make sure you’re doing your job. Figure it out.

Super impressed… having moved here from California… I also agree with one of the reviewers below… wish we had had this in CA! I was not expecting anything special at this Baytown location… but I was blown away…fresh everything, excellent customer service, produce is way better than Kroger and for someone who only shopped at Whole Foods and Costco in the past, this has become my Whole Foods local grocery-replacement. It’s clean and spacious and even has a gas station out front. The layout is spacious and thoughtful and even with lots of people and kids milling around, it never feels packed… tons of parking outside, and even a K-beauty corner with sheet masks (good quality essentials have been selected in the pharmacy section so this mirrors how a Whole Foods incorporates this type of section, just much bigger) The only thing is that this location doesn’t ever (I’ve been here 8 times) have is sliced pork belly, (a Texan told me that each H-E-B has slightly different offerings) so I pick it up when we are visiting friends in Summerwood.

Store is large and has great produce. However it is a mess to shop in. People stocking shelves all morning and aisles are so full of stuff you can’t get through. Today EVERY aisle had products stacked in the way with no one doing anything. This situation has gotten worse as the year goes on. Manager needs to see what is going on

A well organized store very clean and with a very good attention. It is one of the few H-E-B that is well organized And where you can find everything, it is always well stocked and with many brands with which you can identify. Clean bathrooms, cleanliness in general is very good. The guys who are outside in the parking area can be seen to do their job well. It shows that the manager does an excellent job. Well, from my point of view, everything looks fine. In the same way I will update as I visit this place.

Always have a good experience with grocery delivery and pick up, as well as in-store shopping. I wish I would have caught the name of the girl who did my shop today for my grocery pickup, she was excellent and so nice and friendly, what a sweet girl. They were out of my creamer and she offered to go back in and get me something else, but it wasn't a necessity so I declined. Thank you!!

Best grocery store in Baytown. Really friendly and helpful in the deli department. Produce always fresh and appetizing. Can usually find about everything I'm looking for. Thet have a good selection of gluten-free products, but some are hard to locate.

Store is great. Check out employee customer service, not so great. I smiled when I approached the line, told the checker I had produce under my cart. She didn't smile and mumbled something about my groceries. I remained positive, smiled and thanked the checker and the bagger multiple times. No thank you back. They both had faces like they didn't want to be there and didn't even crack one smile. This post is mainly for the management team. I love HEB but don't forget about training on customer service. I hope to see more friendly smiles next time.

I shop at HEB all of the time. That’s the only grocery store I go to. I stopped by today with my son to pick up a few things and something happened that made both my son and I feel VERY uncomfortable. A lady, I’m assuming she was a manager, definitely an employee of HEB, just picked up my son from the end of the cart and literally rearranged my whole cart, opened up the front where the seats are and sat my child in there. Without my permission she touches my cart, moved my stuff, but most importantly the grabbed my child. I don’t care who you are, you DO NOT pick up someone’s child without their permission. I literally walked 5 feet away to grab an item, not even 5 seconds I turn around to see this. Instead of grabbing my child she could have said something to ME. I don’t feel comfortable with strangers touching my child. My child felt uncomfortable, he told me and I saw it on his face. Someone needs to let this manager know it is not okay to be grabbing other people’s children. My anxiety was so high I was shaking. I wish I could report her to someone higher.

My all-time fave store. Their brand products are top notch, no complaints whatsoever. 🤣.. I'm curious about the chips in the pics though lol. One big thing i adore about them is... Almost every aisle, if not every aisle is open. 👏🏼

I am normally not one to complain but I came across a very rude employee in the Bakery this Morning. I guess I was bothering her because she was leaning over the prep table on her phone. All I asked for was some fresh croissants (which was already out just needed to be placed in the container) because the few they had out was from the 26th. I normally buy them by 2’s because I’m obsessed with croissants so I wanted fresh ones. Anyway not only did she have an attitude because I asked for help she also lied to me and told me that she had just put the few that was out this morning! So I said ma’am these are not from today because the date says the 26th and today is not the 26th. She says “ like I said I just put those out”. I just walked away because I was not about to argue with anyone over some croissants and after her behavior I would not want her touching my food anyway. Not only do you have an attitude because you don’t want to do your job but you lie to a customer because you refuse to do your job.

Do not recommend H‑E‑B curbside pickup. Almost every time I pick up groceries via curbside, I am missing an item. Yes, if you call and spend 10 minutes on hold they will refund you the item, but this should not happen in the first place. It takes zero critical thinking skills to put groceries from a cart in to a vehicle. H-E-B needs to hire better employees. After multiple mistakes, they will not be my first choice for grocery shopping in the future.

First time ever experiencing H‑E‑B and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a hectic Saturday so I can’t wait to return during a less busy time to actually explore and take in everything. Loved the meal deals and the east of using store discounts though!

Great store, always clean, but out of things constantly and curbside pickup is an absolute headache and joke every time! The staff is so slow and they don't have enough curbside spots. There are people parking and waiting for spots causing traffic in the parking lot. Ecspecially in the evening hours. There needs to be a way better flow.

Great Customer Service here. People were working and their face didn't wrinkle when you asked a question 😂. I liked that. It slowed me they at least like their job 😊. Plus the store was clean 😊. Hats off to the management team for having good employees. I say it starts from the top.

Daughter went to the bakery to inquire about a wedding cake to be made. One of the Bakery decorator’s came out to talk to her and right away told her that she was busy so make it fast about what she wanted. The whole time she talked to the decorator the decorator was put out about discussing anything with her. This is unacceptable customer service especially for a purchase like this. We will take our business to another store but management needs to be made aware of this problem.

HEB Baytown floral department created some amazing arrangements for table center pieces and rose vases for a memorial service for my family. The ladies there went above and beyond to ensure we had the number the design and the special roses that I loved so much. Everything was so beautiful, perfection and delivered on time. Thank you, def going to refer others to you and do business again.

It's a great store. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The only issue that I have is the line that you have to wait in when you order your groceries online. They need more parking spaces for the pick up orders.

Curbside needs to do better! I had to come back after picking up my order to have 8 dinted cans exchanged. So the employee that exchanged them brought me 3 dinted cans!
