What a joke! After listing amenities such as laundry facilities and access to a clothes iron, I checked in to find that none of these existed. They had a beat-up, rusty washer and dryer. They said only the dryer was working. What exactly can I do with only a dryer? I decided that I could live without the laundry for 12 nights. However, I had to go to church and needed to iron my clothes. I was told that they had no irons. I checked out after my first night and went to a nicer hotel with an iron and ironing board in my room. There was also a nice laundry room.

I have stayed in over 80 Motel 6s in the past few years. This one is in the Top 10. I stayed in this motel for 4 nights. The staff were polite and helpful. Tim, the manager, got me the room on the floor I requested. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great and was quiet. Other guests, with the exception of a couple, were basically quiet and orderly. No major problems with rowdy guests. There were no gunshots at night. There was a railroad track about 200 yards away but the train ran only during the day and was not a noise nuisance. Airplanes taking off and landing at Intercontinental Airport were noticeable only in the early morning. No nighttime jet engine noise. The internet was fast and reliable. I needed it for a project I was working on and used it a lot. My only concern was that the motel suspended coffee service due to the Covid outbreak. This is the first Motel 6 I have stayed at that did not have free coffee in the morning, but I understand that other Motel 6s are also suspending coffee service due to the virus. It was a very pleasant 4 day stay and I will stay here in the future.

DO NOT USE THE APP I can’t speak about how the hotel was. I was booking the room for my niece on the app and it was the WORST experience ever!!!! The app froze up 4 times. Each time I X’d out of the blank screen and I was prompted “Do you want to cancel this transaction?” I clicked Yes all 4 times. On the 5th try, it was successful. After, I received 5 email confirmations!!! My credit card was charged 5 times!!! I have disputed the charges with my credit card company after unsuccessful attempts to get OYO to make it right.

Clean room and shower. Y’all know what OYO means right? On Your Own! Still doing business thru the Covid window. No coffee in the room. Hell, I felt lucky I had a plastic cup to use! I’m boycotting these places that still hide.

The room had roaches and there were burn holes in the comforter and blankets. This was a non smoking room. The bed was super hard that felt like a concrete floor. There was no amenities such as shampoo ,lotion, coffee. No continental breakfast not even coffee. Would rather sleep in my car than stay there again.

For the price, which is usually less than $50/night, i have no complaints. Great location in heart of humble. Very straightforward just the essentials nothing extra. Always clean.

Went to another hotel I booked a day in advance before driving 5 hours to Houston and they claimed they were sold out and didn’t have any left. So I booked this hotel last minute, we came here and check in was fast and easy. Pool was clean, rooms were clean, overall I had a great experience here. Definitely will come back when I’m in town.

I have to begin this mentioning that this place is a MOTEL. This is not at HOTEL. So it works for its purpose. I stayed there one night and it was good. The rooms are decent size and clean the same as the bathroom. Linen are clean the same as towels. The only thing is that they allow to smoke inside the rooms. The have ashtrays inside the rooms but the problem is that the smoke stays I side the room and event thou the room was spotless the smell was a little bit intense. Overall, the value of what I paid for was good.

Room was decent but the pool was closed. I've stayed here before and enjoyed the pool. not sure why a hotel with a pool would have their pool closed for the summer but it wasn't the experience I am accustomed to. I will not come back.

Never get the motrl when call. Always get somebody who calls me "MY FRIEND" and asks me what property I am and and then sausage "we will take care of it, my friend" buy nothing happens. You get what you pay for, but not even that in this case.

I got there a half hour early hoping to check in. I was told that my room wasn’t ready, which is understandable. I asked how long it would be because I’d taken an Uber there and had nowhere to wait. The gentleman said he didn’t know how long it would be that whenever housekeeping let him know, that’s when. I was never offered a place to wait. They keep the lobby closed at all times. My room wasn’t ready until 10 minutes after check-in time, which their webpage states 2:00. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay.

It was good for the price but I am disabled and the room was up three floors the toilet backed up and I had to ask twice for a plunger. Also the AC was old and it made a large noise and took a while to get cool. Management could not change my room to a downstairs room and my husband had a big tote dolly with our stuff on it to carry three flights of stairs

Poor, poor, poor customer service. Everything was wrong with my stay. Poor internet service, mean housekeeping, the front desk people are sad excuses. And the list goes on. You have been warn.

  • 2/5 Virginia S. 1 year ago on Google
The downstairs rooms are good. Housekeeping is good. The second floor rooms suck at least the room we were in the mattress was horrible and had a bad dip on the middle

Roaches in the bathroom and one even crawled on the bed. Cigarette burns and holes in blankets and sheets

It's not great but it's not bad. Hard bed. Smells like weed. Cheap. Clean(ish). It was fine for a night. Don't bring your family tho. Good pick for just one person for one night.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The women at the front desk named Monica was very sweet and and fast at her job, it didn’t take long before I was able to relax and enjoy my time at OYO hotel.

First off, the room I got was supposed to be non-smoking, but it had been smoked in because i could smell it, and I have asthma. Second, they didn't have ice the whole week i stayed there. Third, the pool was dirty and they didn't start cleaning it til the weekend and still were cleaning it when I left. Fourth I found 2 cockroaches and killed them. They only offered to move me to another room or have that room sprayed. Definitely would not recommend. Plus when I stayed there for a week, they only changed my sheets 1 time. The staff were nice but the place was nasty. My whole week i had no ice and no pool. The A/C and the refrigerator was awesome. I booked this through priceline and they wouldn't let me change my hotel so make sure you research your hotel before hand.

Cheap for this area. Good location for shopping and restaurants. Bare minimum hotel. Older property with lots of problems. Quiet. Pool closed, which is not stated when made reservation. Service is through a window, minimum verbal communication or courtesy. Room clean, but smelled musty/moldy because air was not on, but once AC was running smell dissipated. Door had gap at bottom left side. Bed linen had stains and holes. Bed is mattress on pedestal so not a soft bed or extra pillows. Small microwave/TV/refrigerator. Clean bathroom and towels. Bring your own shampoo, soap, toiletries if staying long.

Worst hotel ever! Rooms are a dump and NO COFFEE! What hotel does not offer coffee? Neither in the room and the lobby is closed. Check in and check out through a drive up window!!! Talk about getto!

Only reason I'm giving them a 3 is because of the price. That's it. I stayed for 4 days. Everyday I was there I couldn't get an iron. The iron was out the whole time I was there. And they didn't know what room had checked it out. 😏. I was wrinkle my whole stay. I got shocked my by room light switch. It totally shocked me and blew a fuse at the same time. Although when I reported it,the maintenance man came within the hour. So that was a plus. Then the washer was broken. Dryer was working but the washer was totally worthless. I guess u get what you pay for

From the outside you’d think the place is out of business. Not even the OYO name on the outside soooo i just went by the address. - check in process was fairly easy BUT it was done thru an outside window like a drive thru but it was a walk-up window ( check in and check out ) Property is either being renovated and upgraded eventually but it looks very run down and old and forgotten about by the owner. Rooms are surprisingly very different than the outside. Nice Rooms. Mine had a BRIGHT ORANGE wall inside. From the outside it looks like a $20 hotel but after you go in you can add a few more dollars.

  • 1/5 Amiah E. 1 year ago on Google
The worst one yet. Spend the extra $10 on somewhere actually worth it, barely even warm water, shampoo & conditoners are basically filled with water & there response was “maybe the last guest did it”, run down from the outside-in, pools been closed for a month maybe even more.. TRASH

At the front desk I felt that the manager was a little lacking in professionalism. But he was accommodating. The room was reasonably clean. The bed was hard like sleeping on a board. But overall.... It was still a decent stay. I would recommend.

We're do I begin on why NOT TO STAY at this location. The room 215 TV did not work the phone does not work the pool is suppose to be open but not said will be closed till further notice... And the idea of using the vending machine is u have to go to their night window just to purchase stuff they do not allow you to go into the office. Called and told person about the TV and she said I will send maintenance well guess who never showed. There towels are hand towels and the bathroom you have to sit sidewise on the toilet to shut the bathroom door. So do not go to this place is you want a breakfast or to go swimming and their parking lot on the side is all crushed up taking most the parking spots.

It was a good place to spend the night before a flight. There is plenty of safe parking, check in was fast, friendly, and easy, the room was clean and quiet. The pool looked nice. It had a fridge and microwave. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. A great budget hotel, no complaints. I would stay again.

The overall hotel itself was very clean from the room to the pool area and grounds. Some remodeling was in process on the outside which is always an improvement. The office staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. As far as location goes, seem difficult to get to, even using GPS. A lot of up and over highway and turns, never noticed hotel from highway like I do others. Many restaurants and shopping areas close by. The only real improvement I would suggest is the shower in the room. Water pressure very low, took awhile to get soap out of hair and body. Hot water is more like warm water. Shower curtain didn't hold water in very well, had to put towels down to soak up water on floor. Very pleased that hotel offered SMOKING rooms with king size bed. Not very many hotels offer smoking rooms which makes it very difficult to really enjoy room and stay. I would recommend this hotel to someone based on cleanilyness, friendly staff and a fair reasonable price.

Very clean rooms, clean lot, clean pool. Nice and friendly staff. Close to shopping places. And the room rate was very affordable. I was in town for a whole week and stayed here. I loved it. I felt safe because I notice they have security cameras and they sit right there and watch them.

I was hoping since the motel turned into Oyo that it would be clean and different nothing is different there's roaches the bedspreads are still the same old bedspreads with cigarette Burns

Great staff, very clean owners, staff, and rooms. Rooms are remodeled and in very good condition despite the exterior of the hotel and nothing is broken or damaged in the rooms. Even great water pressure from the shower! They have new, comfortable beds and pillows, flat screen TV show, microwaves, and mini fridges in every room. Plus the air conditioners/heaters work very well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people constantly!

Remember the price of the room. It is not the Hyatt Regency! The room was great and office and housekeeping was also exceptional. This is a relatively new OYO and is transitioning from the previous owner.

5 stars all the way! I was beyond pleased with this MOTEL?! It was a comfortable feeling knowing that they accommodated my family on such short notice. The concierge was very quick and pleasant to speak to. Although only smoking rooms were available- my family and I were not off-put with the faint smell of cigarette usage. My room: 228 was very well maintained. They have HARD WOOD floors with 11am check out. They’ve made a returning client out of me. (Keep in mind they were the only reasonably priced lodging at 3:30am and I felt relieved at the sleeping conditions...compared to most locations in that area) VERY SATISFIED=rooms were spacious, secured parking and NO bed bug problems
