The Scarlet Barbell Club is easily the best gym in the area. Quentin and Kim’s friendly and inviting attitude make you feel right at home. The place is a warehouse type gym with all brand new equipment and metal weights. You can also connect to the speaker and play your own music if no one else is connected with 24/7 access to the gym as long as your a member. I’ve never had to wait for any piece of equipment. Great overall experience and plan to stay here a lot longer than any other gym I’ve been to.

I've been a member since their first month, and the owners make you feel right at home, and treat you as a friend/family member. The members are extremely friendly, and help you if you're need of a spot. The gym reminds me of a brotherhood where friends just get together to lift. It's an old school style setting. It's nothing fancy like the commercial gyms, but it has all the basics and old school equipment to get the job done. The gym cuts through the over priced nonsense that other gyms charge for. If you want an honest workout with no BS, than this is the gym for you.

My husband & I absolutely LOVE this gym. We have made many friends here & it feels like we're family. Love the atmosphere, there's always encouragement to be your best. You will see results if you keep at it & there will always be someone there to help you if you have questions! This will be our home gym for as long as we're in the area! :)

Great establishment; very helpful staff and members. I was hesitant to join at first, thinking it was a "boys club" type of environment but that couldn't be further from the truth. the members have always been respectful, helpful and even cheer you on when you're having an off day. The Bryan family own and operate this place with a no BS policy and zero tolerance for disrespect and it shows! Highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing through.

This is a no BS establishment! Locally owned and operated, they take pride in their work. They are friendly, helpful, address concerns from their members, they have great membership pricing and CHEAP guest passes! Even the regulars take pride here and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of they gym (re-racking weights, cleaning the equipment after use) and if you need a spot, you don't have to look far because anyone there (including the owners) will spot you. I know I'm not the only one who enjoys their No BS policy. There is no "3 strikes and you're out" here! Very pleased I found this gym!

I love this gym. They have all of the equipment you look for in a gym. Very nice. Always clean. I will stay at this gym for the rest of my life. Also, the staff Is great and very knowledgeable. I recommend this gym to anyone that is looking for a good gym to go to that has nice equipment, well taken care of and well run.

Great gym with fantastic equipment and a wonderful staff! Been coming here for over 2 years and still loving it! Lots of very unique machines you don't see many places too. Hard to find good hardcore gyms like this in New Caney. 5 stars!

-1 Couldn't get in the door. Was either locked or my lat pull was insufficient. -1 At least the parking lot was in bad shape. -1 Phone wasn't being answered that morning. +1 Standing outside was not as enjoyable as it could have been, but it wasn't raining anymore. +1 It's close to a gym.

Good gym but they need to get rid of the Bluetooth speaker. Don’t like having to hear other people’s bad music over my headphones. Otherwise clean and organized.

Gym was a good underground style gym like I like unfortunately it’s overcrowded with kids stacking one machine causing long wait times and one bathroom for whole gym is mind boggling but the staff is great and people are good friendly people just need to work out things

Been coming here for almost 2 years now and haven’t felt the need to switch. Great gym, great people everyone wipes down the equipment (thank god) and they installed a fan and a vending machine. Always a great time and workout. Can’t recommend enough.

Not sure why so many high ratings. Equipment looks old. Floor unkept. But the plus side of it all. Its 24 hr access. There are plenty of machines for everyone. People are friendly. Near the highway. I mean overall pretty good. Just not 5 stars.

Phenomenal gym of your serious about your goals. Surrounded by like minded people definitely helps you grow. The owner Quentin is a very humble and nice guy, not above asking you how your day is going. 💪🏼 I'm glad I found SBB!

I love this gym, the owners, and the environment. Equipment is available for a multitude of fitness needs and goals. 24 hour access has been super helpful for early morning or late night work outs. The atmosphere is motivating and judgement-free (which I haven’t found at corporate gyms). I can’t recommend SBC enough.

The most organized gym I’ve ever been to! Has everything you could ever need from powerlifting equipment, strongman and of course the essential bodybuilding stuff!

Gym has great equipment that is always well maintained. The owners are even better and are always around either cleaning, helping, lifting, or just being friendly. Great environment and great people.

I went here for over 6 months and loved it! My job transferred me to Katy so the drive was a bit much. I wish they were able to be more out here but this is THE best gym in all of Houston! Everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is amazing, and the music gets ya going! If I could give 6 stars I would!
