After
arriving
at
Omonio
Square
I
asked
at
any
random
hotel
for
a
room.
Two
were
sold
out,
third
was
Hotel
Alma.
Honestly,
after
the
first
impression
of
the
street
and
the
entrance
I
expected
the
worst.
Even
after
seeing
the
grey
varnished
room
doors
in
the
undecorated
hallway.
What
expected
me
in
reaiity
was
a
neat,
clean
basic
room
with
a
comfortable
bed,,
clean
sheets
and
towels,
a
nice
bathroom,
a
well
working
shower
with
hot
water
24/7
and
a
balcony.
And
not
to
forget,
an
elevator.
Receptionists
who
have
to
deal
with
all
sorts
of,
and
mostly
extremely
difficult
clientele,
still
give
their
best
at
any
time
to
be
friendly,
caring
and
supportive
.
Location
is
great,
as
Metro
is
only
100m
away,
the
Pantheon,
Zeus
Temple,
Plaka
and
also
Syntagma
Square
in
a
walking
distance.
I
enjoyed
my
stay
very
much.
Couldn't
have
made
a
better
choice
in
Athens.
