AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! the walls had boogers and spit,the bathroom had black mold and dirty water was leaking beneath the toilet.the pillow had black marks of mold also,blood spots on the sheets.i mean it's better to sleep on the streets.and the stuff totally rude and out of this world

The standard is adequate to the price. Service is mostly nice, but one of the receptionists behaves below any criticism. Almost threw us out of the hotel, because he did not understand that we want to pay extra for air conditioning and not buy another night. Apparently, courtesy costs nothing but the worst enemy I do not recommend a meeting with this gentleman.

It's just ok. Nothing special it's a place to sleep. I'm not going to trash this place. I was only there for a few hours. But it was my least favorite of the 3 I stayed in. It did have a balcony. A decent bathroom and the room was rather large in my opinion. And the internet worked.

Disgusting, falling apart “hotel” I know it’s a cheap “hotel” and I had very, very low expectations, and somehow they still managed to disappoint me to the point where I was disgusted. After spending two nights there, I would not stay there again even if they paid me!!! The “hotel” stinks, the place is disgusting, the shower is a nightmare (theres fungi in all the walls and more), the place is falling apart and it’s simply the worse experience I’ve ever had in a “hotel”. It should be ilegal for this place to be called a hotel. All the electric plugs are at least 6 feet above the floor, so good luck trying to charge your devices. I hope this place burns down!

After arriving at Omonio Square I asked at any random hotel for a room. Two were sold out, third was Hotel Alma. Honestly, after the first impression of the street and the entrance I expected the worst. Even after seeing the grey varnished room doors in the undecorated hallway. What expected me in reaiity was a neat, clean basic room with a comfortable bed,, clean sheets and towels, a nice bathroom, a well working shower with hot water 24/7 and a balcony. And not to forget, an elevator. Receptionists who have to deal with all sorts of, and mostly extremely difficult clientele, still give their best at any time to be friendly, caring and supportive . Location is great, as Metro is only 100m away, the Pantheon, Zeus Temple, Plaka and also Syntagma Square in a walking distance. I enjoyed my stay very much. Couldn't have made a better choice in Athens.

The room is what you would expect, very dirty pillows and mattress but the sheets were clean. The location of this hotel was very scary at night and felt very unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend staying here as a female or if you do don’t go out at night. No hot water or air conditioning but for the price didn’t really expect it.

The worst experience ever in my life in a "hotel". We only spent one night there when we paid for two. Dirty, smoke, stinky bathroom, stains in beds and floors, weird people hosted and cockroachs everywhere!! We slept with clothes and over the bed sheet. The receptionist looked like something out of a horror movie!!! besides there was a high scort behind him. Everything was disgusting...

One low cost hotel in the center of Athens Nothing special. About 30€ per night without breakfast April 2022

They charge you extra 5 euros night to have access to de air-condition. The wasn't properly the shower is a hand shower, the bed and the pillows smell terrible. Disgusting experience.

Without any booking we successfully managed to find a room only in this hotel and were pretty happy. They don't provide breakfast or any service, the hotel is located in the nosy, dirty area, there's a permanent smoke smell in the room but we weren't going to get upset. Clean sheets, warm water are enough. But the personel... Really that grumpy, grumbling old man at the reception... He was unpleased, impolite and didn't let us leave two small bags for 2 hours. Disgusting impression.

The worst Hotel, the location is perfect but it’s the only good thing about this place. The worst receptionist that I met in my entire life, they won’t even store your luggage at the check out for a couple of hours. Everyone is rude and they won’t help you. We even paid 5€ for the air conditioning and they didn’t give us the remote control, without any refund. They didn’t change sheets and towels. So please spend a little bit of more money to have a better and pleasant journey.

This hotel provides a really budget-friendly accommodation. The rooms are really old and not very cozy but for that price I would consider it a good choice.

Old, but very clean and charge every day. Air conditioner has extra fee of 3 Euro per night! I returned to this hotel again, two years later. They stopped everyday charging and cleaning due to covid limitations! I was really disappointed!

Alma is a good budget hotel it’s clean but air conditioner not working and street was overcrowded by homeless and Thieves and robbers.

Quite good hotel according to the price. There is a lot of little disadvantages beside that it’s a normal old tourist hotel. The prices in Athens in summer are just out of the world so the hotel has a great advantage with also being in the city center. In conclusion, great hotel with staff being the cherry at the top. Great Hotel!!!

Nice and search easy main area place Alma Hotel...

The hot isn't available all the time and specially in the evening it is always cold! In my experience I've stayed for about a week and asked them to clean the room twice and they didn't do it so I checked out.

It's a cheap place, but very nice! If you are looking for quiet, simple place, just to enjoy Athens and your peace and simplicity, it's perfect! It's clean and the personal is very familiar and kind. I felt like a student în his own beautiful universe. Thank you!

According to me it was not a hotel. It was like a store room. Their toilet condition was very low. The washroom was very bad. Water falls from the ceiling of the washroom. It is very annoying. There was not enough space to take a shower. Inside the hotel, next to the stairs, inside the room, the dirty smell is very uncontrollable. Their behavior was very bad. The behavior of the owner and the staff and the responsible people were very bad. In a word, everything was at a low level. I didn't like it at all. If someone comes to visit with family or friends, I think they should not go to the hotel. It will only harass you.👎👎👎👎👎
