Very overpriced, and the food portions are very small, not like in a typical Greek restaurant. Staff is slow and they brought me bread that I didn’t order. I don’t know why I left a tip of 2,5 euros for the worst experience during my trip.

Burnt Galaktoboureko dessert - how can you serve customers this and charge them? Overpriced 5 shrimp for €28 euros and they also charge for bread that no on orders. Definitely a tourist trap. Staff are miserable and don't want to work there.

Recommended: grilled prawns and smoked eel, but not a big fan of shrimp saganaki

Nice looking restaurant, but lacks in a few key things! I had both good and bad experience in this restaurant. It's a very chic restaurant and good for fish. The waiters are friendly and professional. We orderd a salad I can't remember the name, it's was the restaurants salad and we were 3 people. We forgot to tell them that the want the size for 2 people so they obviously brought us the bigger one for 4 people and it was so overpriced for what it was! 17€....and it was just a plate with lots of green uncut leaves that were very difficult to eat, one tomatoe sliced in 4 some cucumber and carrots and a very simple dressing. I didn't like the salad at all, I have been to much more budget restaurants with much better salads. Then we wanted 3 different fish dishes and 3 portions of chips on side. The waiter insisted that 1 portion would be enough so we trusted him as in other restaurants in Greece you get big portions of fries. They brought the fried and it was a small portion, just about enough for one person. The other thing I didn't like is that they didn't bring all dishes together but one after another, 10-15 minutes apart, so there was always just one person eating and the last one had to wait 30-40 minutes to eat. In the meantime we orderd another portion of fries which was finished very quick and when ordering the third portion the waiter said that it would take 20 mins...for s portion of fries!! So the the person who's food came last didn't have any sides. This was very disappointing. Also the grilled octopus was very chewy, they should do something about it. I have eaten much better and softer Octopus here in the UK in Greek restaurants. I would not eat there again.

Expensive, service is so bad and desorganised and if don't pay attention you get charged for bread even if you don't take it (25e pour 10 plates of breads ... We were 6 adults... no comment). And the boss comes to us trying to charge us the fish for the kids that we refused after one hour wait, she still doesn't understand... really?). One advice: learn your job or change it

First class tourist trap, very nice decor and great staging, but the food came no way near the initial customer promise. Most fish dishes on the menu are not available, only available options are the recommendations made by the waiter. Fish dishes served were not fresh and crawfish came straight from the freezer at absurd prices. The bill at end is big surprise with all sorts of extras that the waiter couldn’t clarify If you don’t mind being robbed in clear daylight, please go here. The scenery is the only good thing about this place.

Beautiful experience overall. We are a Greek family of three living abroad and appreciate almost everything in our homeland. This time it was this feel good fish restaurant by the sea of mikrolimano. It must be described as an experience because of the welcoming waiters the comfortable seating the cleanliness and the respectful behavior. The tastes are not unique for a greek restaurant but I certainly must point out they are as they should be. Salad papaioannou we appreciated for the uncut tomatos and lettuce leaves greek salad was satisfying with fine feta cheese just like we would choose at home. They were very honest about the available fresh fish and noone should expect more availability Because sea offers a lot but not all the time. This should be respected. Personally I was looking for more variety in clams and oysters which I didnt get because this restaurant is fish based. However I loved the kydonia selection and the shrimps from Symi were delicious. I was expecting more appetizer selection or maybe more variety and this is why I don't give 6 stars. However I admit I will return another day to try the fish. Original and feelgood place. Beautiful Seafood restaurant, right on the water. Take a table outside, and view the fishing boats and sail boats as you enjoy an amazing, fresh caught fish dinner. Highly recommend this place. Like and follow for more amazing places to see and visit around the World.

Nice location and view, great service and fresh food. However, comparing to other restaurants of the same category it was missing the personal touch of the chef on the dishes, the general approach of the food experience was mediocre and the quantity could be bigger. Thankfully,and luckily, we were offered an extra dish.

Exceptionally good restaurant. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Food presentation is simple but elegant. A bit more expensive but worth it.

Overrated in terms of cuisine and totally overpriced for what it offers! Very nice location and ambience BUT these factors alone do not compensate for the absurdly expensive menu! There are far better choices to make in Athens area and the reviera for fish restaurants.

Amazing !!! Do not miss their tomato salad it’s out of this world. They’re famous for it! French fries is homemade not industrial at all, the sea view while eating is everything. Service is top 🔝. On weekends make sure to make a reservation as from what I know and experienced is they are always full. but on Monday’s you simply can pop in and get a seat.. free parking outside, so that’s a plus!

Without a doubt this place served us the best classic greek food in Athens. The atmosphere and service where amazing but what got me hooked is the food. They serve classic greek food but every dish has a little twist that makes it better. Started with the uni salad. Super fresh and full of sea flavor served with grilled bread. The mussels doesn’t look any different until you taste them and notice the smoky flavor there. This is by far the best mussels I had in my life. The baby fried shrimp eats like s popcorn super crispy and delicious. The scampi are not to be missed. Super delicious and juicy. Then came the sea bream now we had lots of grilled fish in this trip. They all tasted great but this one had the grill taste in every bite.

Wonderfully fresh fish, perfectly cooked. All the starters were also excellent! The wine list is very good and reasonably priced. I would recommended Papaioannou very highly, it is always consistent and very fair value for the food they serve. If in Athens, you must try this restaurant.

Slow service despite a lot of staff. Fish was good, starters and sides total average. To expensive for what it is. Disappointing.

In our second visit there we had a big disappointment as service was very late. But still I’m in love with the Greek salad they make.

The most refined “tavern” I’ve been to in Athens. The ingredients are fresh and of premium quality, the menu is simple, the staff is professional and very nice. Prices are those of a restaurant rather than a (refined) tavern, and considering that plates don’t come in an orderly manner but randomly (very Greek style), I agree with some other reviews that there are some contradictions. Still....it’s a 5 star for me! I’ll definitely go back, especially for lunch.

Great place, SUPER professional service (I was really impressed) food was amazing! Nice view right by the marina. We had something analogia to a Tsipoura, octopus, sardines were great, Greek salad and Mussles saganaki! All were great, and nicely cooked, the fish has a great flavored, it was devoured! Highly recommend this place! Some of he food was already eaten!! Lol

The best sea food in Piraeus! Extremely high quality in all senses, and the best customer attention. One of the best places to catch the sunset and have a great dinner! The place is expensive, but completely valuable in terms of flavor and experience. If are looking for a good romantic dinner or celebrate an anniversary this is your place to go! Ps. The place offers valet parking and the bathrooms are located on the building across.

Beautifully situated on the water front, excellent starters, Sashimi and taramasalata prepared in a fantastic way, smart main courses, but not stuffy. Very good desserts. Excellent service. Surely, will return.
