I
called
the
St
Teresa
hospital
in
Kikuyu
to
enquire
whether
the
hospital
had
a
certain
medicine.
The
speed
at
which
I
was
rudely
answered
back
even
before
the
I
could
fully
explain
the
issue
was
alarming.
Certainly
customer
etiquette
is
something
missing
in
the
person
who
answered
the
phone.
I
had
a
patient
in
a
different
hospital
and
urgently
required
a
particular
medicine
that
was
not
available
in
the
hospital
where
she
was
admitted.
I
called
St
Teresa
hospital
Kikuyu
to
enquire
whether
they
had
the
medicine.
And
before
I
could
explain
which
medicine
I
wanted
and
that
the
medicine
was
needed
by
a
patient
in
a
different
hospital,
the
man
who
answered
the
phone
was
quick
to
interject
saying
that
the
sick
person
should
go
to
hospital
and
get
the
medicine
from
the
hospital.
I
had
not
even
told
him
the
name
of
the
medicine
I
was
looking
for.
I
guess
it
is
too
much
to
expect
some
kind
of
decorum
in
this
institution
that
is
supposed
to
offer
services
to
people.
With
that
kind
of
attitude
from
the
person
answering
the
phone,
am
afraid
to
thinking
what
to
expect
when
inside
the
said
hospital.
