Dear Management, I am writing to provide some feedback regarding my recent experience at your hotel. While there were aspects of my stay that I appreciated, I feel it is important to bring to your attention some concerns I encountered during my visit. Firstly, I must express my disappointment with the speed of service provided by your staff. Throughout my stay, I noticed a consistent delay in response times, especially the service.We were literally ignored since we walked in.A couple right behind us was escorted and assisted with a seating and served before us.Even though we are not comparing the service as we are both customers,we were not given any attention.We sat right Infront of the restaurant and all wait staff walked by us without eye contact for close to an hour before we got someone ask us if we were serviced even though they walked by us several times without noticing and It seemed that the employees were either understaffed or lacking the necessary efficiency to handle customer requests promptly. This sluggishness resulted in unnecessary waiting times, which could be frustrating for guests. Furthermore, the quality of the food served in the restaurant was subpar. I received a dish that was served lukewarm, indicating a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. Cold food not only diminishes the taste and overall dining experience but can also pose health concerns. It would be beneficial to ensure that the kitchen staff adhere to strict quality control measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. One issue that left a lasting negative impression was the behavior of some of your employees. I observed instances where staff members appeared to be profiling customers based on their appearance or other factors. This kind of behavior is highly unprofessional and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere for guests. It is essential to emphasize the importance of treating all customers with respect, regardless of their background or appearance. I understand that managing a hotel involves various challenges, and it is possible that these issues may have arisen due to unforeseen circumstances or temporary lapses. However, as a guest, it is crucial for me to communicate these concerns to help you identify areas for improvement. To enhance the overall guest experience, I recommend taking the following actions: Assess staffing levels and consider increasing the workforce, if necessary, to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery. Conduct regular training sessions for kitchen staff to emphasize the importance of maintaining food quality and presentation standards. Implement a comprehensive customer service training program that focuses on treating all guests with respect, regardless of their background or appearance. Establish a feedback mechanism, such as comment cards or online surveys, to encourage guests to share their experiences and provide suggestions for improvement. By addressing these issues proactively, you can work towards creating a more enjoyable and satisfactory experience for your guests. It's a cute place, especially for a weekend getaway. The environment is so beautiful. They also have a nice swimming pool. The accessibility from the main road, however,is quite far. 8kms from Joska. You need to ha e your own means of transport since there are no cabs there, not even a motorbike. It's a cool place though, went there on a Friday, and it was cool.

I wonder what the 5stars are about. The roads are terrible. You need a 4x4 when it rains for the 14km rough road. The food too expensive. Drinks too expensive. Even a litre of water is 500bob. The pool is unkept. Prices for activities also exaggerated. Never going back in a million years. What's with the house flies? Houseflies are all over the place. The choma was good but it delayed. This destination has a huge potential but now I see why it has very little visitors. What a waste.

Beautiful gardens and lovely environment. Great service from the waiting staff. Food is good but simple. Be prepared for the prices they are slightly on the higher side but that is all compensated by the great and prompt service. It worth it. They have a pool and a play area for kids. The place is set in expansive grounds which makes it possible to relax in quiet and enjoy the ambience and environment away from the kids. You probably need a 4X4 its is a long off-road trail especially from the Mombasa Road end. Their is another route that takes you out through the Ruai end, which is what I used out. That is much shorter. The road in is being done up and that should make it a lot more accessible once finished. A great outing for family and a truly relaxing environment.

Terrible service within the restaurant, very rude management which ruins the fun of the outdoor activities. Would not recommend as a whole package considering the location and comparison to other areas.

Experience with the manager of Last Village was highly disappointing. Not only was the manager consistently rude and unprofessional, but their threats towards customers created an uncomfortable environment. His poor hygiene standards were evident, adding an unpleasant layer to the already negative atmosphere. Moreover, the exorbitant charges levied on me for subpar service were utterly unjustifiable. I would caution anyone considering a visit to be wary of such unacceptable conduct and treatment.

Great facility, wonderful staff. Was served by Joseph, a great gentleman who guided us around the facility and the activities. The only downside was the access road though it add to the fun of accessing such a hidden gem

Had a great time on the quad bikes. Food was very basic nothing to write home about, food a bit over priced for the lack of quality. Best to go with a 4x4 car, it is off road murram though it is being fixed.

The outdoor activities were what drew us to this place and in all truth, we had a blast✨ Our fears were put to the test constantly🥲but that is what we came for and we were not disappointed. From the engaging guides to the various activities, I would highly recommend this place for group outings. The zipline, quad bike riding, archery and the high rope course are the activities we chose for the day. Kindly when you visit do not miss doing the high rope course, it tests your self talk and inner drive plus once you complete it the amount of self satisfaction is unexplainable. Take that leap of faith and go face your fears🫵🏾

They serve a decent lunch and an average tea with snacks. They have good recreation facilities for adults and children. It is a good environment for team building and prayer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The architecture is coastal and the swimming pool is inviting.

The road to the resort is 8kms off kangundo road and its in a horrible state but googlemaps is pretty accurate. The reception is amazing from the gate and they have thorough security checks. They offer so many fun activities like quadbiking,archery and swimming. Also there are beautiful intimate grounds for family,large groups and couples. The food is to die for especially the mbuzi choma. But I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. I would rate it 8.5/10

A very good place for vacations honey moon meetings conferences and also personal relaxing .the environment is good and nice facilities . swimming pool, gardens and a lot of activities happening

Place is nice, brace for 8km of rough road to get there though....If not careful in this place you will be ripped off...I asked for swimming charges and i was told 800, a few moment later i was told it was 600, on the receipt book i saw 400 charged for swimming. Just be honest and the place will boom

The last village is an amazing place to spend time with friends and family, enjoy the delicious food, drinks and activities they provide eg swimming, quad bike riding and many more.... The service is top notch🤝.. I just can't wait to visit the place again.

This is a very nice place. Shame it is a really bad road, hope for this lodge the road will be fixed soon....... The food is really nice. Shane if you xame from far, have lunch and than should pay for a swim. 600 kes is a bit high. 400 for children. The gardens are beautiful with d3corative recycled art.

Beautiful serene places outside the city noise. The set and greenery is nothing less than perfect. They have a children's playground, a pool, great grounds for events, zip lining, quad bikes, archery...and the sunsets are magic. Food is great only the road to the place can be quite rough as it's being done but the experience is worth it

We Came here for a night but we ended up staying for two. Its a great getaway that's not too far from nairobi. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great food, great service, lots of activities. 5/5 would totally recommend.

Worst experience..... We were served cold food and when we questioned the staff they told us it's cause they have may guests. The rice was undercooked and the chicken underwhelming. Total waste of money The team lacked coordination and just seemed confused. The property is beautiful but not worth the long drive.

Amazing place for team building .. I just happen to pass by and I was quiet surprised with the cleanliness and the whole place in general. And the best part was the Indian food they served was completely a surprise.. amazing curries and roti.. must visit this place once with the family or friends

We went in for a Sunday afternoon chilling with the kids to swim and zip line. Even though the staff were overwhelmed by the number of revellers. Otherwise, there are many activities for different ages of kids...

Though located 30 minutes on a dry dusty road currently and central to both Athi river and Joska areas, it is soon to be a highly sought after boutique hotel as it is right next to the ongoing construction of the greater eastern bypass.

Off the noisy city. Very calm please with friendly and professional staff . Good food. Lots of activities for the kids

Hey guys don't believe the 5 star reviews from this place.. The place is 16km from Mombasa road and it's dusty stinky murram road.. We had booked a place for 20 people the setup was great very beautiful scenery outside but mosquitoes Maan biiiig hungry eating mosquitoes every second you're just tapping yourself every second.. they eat even the hidden places with clothes... The food was great but house flies OMG.. Soo many... The place is so stingy we bought very expensive food yet when the food remained you still have to pay for packaging food.. Ah a total rip off.. The staff is nice and welcoming but the prices and small small things you'd think they are free you pay for them..
