Best local pub in town, house of rhumba

A perfect place for Rhumba music and the absolute best place for an out of Nairobi Nyama Choma on a weekend or public holiday. The meat is already pre-cooked so it does not take long. You select your preffered seller, select the meat you want and 20 mins your food is there. Ugali, Managu, sukuma wiki or Mokimo as an accompaniment. You can buy a drink as you wait.

Great choma and relaxed atmosphere!!

My first time here but wont be my last. What drew me here was the reputation the place had for Nyama Choma, good Nyama Choma, and I had to try it for myself. I did not have to go far to find it right by the secondary entry is a whole place dedicated to good ol' steaky roasted meat. The policy was to try before you buy, so I went into the designated area and a piece, from then the rest is history. For an average price, I got a sizeable chunk as well as ribs, the meat was so good I had to carry some home. The staff here are the epitome of customer service, very friendly and treat you like royalty. The are very hygienic as well. I however did not have time to explore the club itself but from what I observed it was very packed, this must be a very popular place, and for a good reason as well. I am sure Enkare is a Maasai word, I would love to know what it means, probably 'Home'.

The place is well ventilated with some of the best Nyama Choma on offer. You don't get to worry about social distancing the sitting area is expansive and well airated.

Cool place for the weekend and also for choma

If you love nyama choma (barbeque meat), then you have to visit Club Enkare. Their goat meat is sweet. Talk of maasai salty goats. The place is spacious, convenient for kids, with different sitting setups (short seats, high seats, group setups, etc). There’s sufficient secure parking space. Meat comes chips or ugali. You can get greens of kales (sukuma wiki), kienyeji, or spinach.

It's good but,a bit noisy in the night time but also it's a club so expected..food was good but ugali looked off and also mboga was pale and looked disgusting and unappetizing sauce comes after half an hour when you are almost done music is just ok but very loud we gave it a three for the good qaulity I appreciate

I ordered for meat ,ugali and greens. Only meat was brought greens and ugali came 20 minutes later. I had to feast on the meat like a lion.

Well done Nyama choma, with outdoor sitting. The ugali is served in generous potions and the greens and kachumbari are fresh and not stale. The fries are nothing to write home about.
